Before anyone travel per my experience, i want to let people know that travelling abroad as a first timer is a sacrificial job. Its like sacrificing your happiness for your next generations especially people from poor homes
I agree with you; we sacrifice our happiness to make our family better, but the strange thing is that they don't know; they think we're living a wealthy life here.
U are so so right
Great Story. Not All Nigerians Are Bad. A Nigerian Rescued Me As I Was Stranded In Australia 🇦🇺 Some Years Ago. Pastor Adewale, Thanks So Much. I Will Always Appreciate Your Assistance. God Bless You Pastor 🙏
Please, how can I apply for Australia visa, will i go for interview?
Nigerians like Ghanaians soo much as I do....I like Nigerians soo much
people travel to UK work years of their life waiting to get pension at 67 years and return home. its like throwing your youthful and happy life away. UK system is hardcore
💯 right
There is voluntary pension at 50 though.
What is the retirement age in Ghana please? At least obimanso pension is a bit reliable than Ghana. If you're lucky and God bless you with good health then you will enjoy it. My mum is over 80, on UK pension and still enjoying life. She still travels in here for her free check ups and things. God bless us all ❤❤❤❤
@maraaba6734 That's a private pension, and the minimum retirement age is 55
@@GiftyDeb lols you are dump if you think you can only make it abroad it’s really funny how you guys have hyping Abrokyire
He's so truthful.. I like his honesty
A very sad story. I have learnt a lot from him. D J Nyami, thanks for bringing an experienced man to your show. Sometimes traveling goes with luck as well. It isn't advisable to sell all properties to travel when documents are not attached, else you might regret.
I live in Quebec -Canada and have been here since 1975. I am a Marine Navigator, an ex student of former Ghana Nautical College. i can relative to what your last interviewee was narrating. I didn't have to go through what he did.I tip my hat for him and great respect to his ex-white wife. I really appreciate you bringging alot of things to light to educate our people back home that its not Gold all that glitters, and the green pastures we see on distant fields, have patches in then. Keep doing what you have set up, very educative and eye opener. God bless as always .Peter
1975 wow . I would like to hear your story too
Hi Mr Peter ..Can we get in touch..I need some counselling and advice based off your long years in Canada
Exactly what happened to me after 15 years married to white English woman ! Retired now in Ghana
Sorry grandpa!
Your story is heart-breaking, yet it sounds good that you also had great moments with your ex. Never get discouraged.
Am learning everyday on this beautiful platform.
So interesting and educative 🙏👍
Bro am learning to
A lot to learn
Life in London is not easy ,God will see as through
When God bless you in Ghana be grateful to God be happy and stay in Ghana....
Memory lane 😍. When I was a teen I lived at home in Liverpool and my friends and I would go to have a fun day at south port. Lovely video
PAPA SHE DON'T WANT TO FEEL LONELY AT THE OLD AGE.. D J .. I LOVE YOU BRO. AFRICANS WOMEN'S ALWAYS THINKING KIDS IS FOR THEM ONLY. ESPECIALLY BLACKS WOMEN'S
Travelling abroad is one issue but to sell my property (s) will depend on the travel. If I am not going back home again then I will but if I have intention of going back then I won't sell my property.
Easier said, harder done.. je needed the money for connection to travel..hmm
You sold your house and your taxi to travel good, but haven't achieved anything hmmm. I always say abroad is by Luck, someone did the same, but has achieved everything he/her want in life, anyway thanks for sharing your experience ❤
You can make money everywhere only dump thinks you can only make money by traveling
@@daviesashong6970my dear I second her, everyone had his or her luck in traveling ooo cos I’ve grown to realise that we don’t have a specific country that once u reside u will become wealthy automatically but it you can make it at anywhere you find yourself. For example someone is in Europe and looking down at somebody in Asia countries but somebody in Asia countries like UAE, Qatar and co are forcing to do something great whiles thes Europe people are looking down on these Asia country travelers so you get it but someone in us Europe and haven’t made anything meaningful home and still suffering so it’s by luck and grace plus hard work
I live abroad, and i like what you're doing. These days, anyone who arrives starts sharing the "milk and honey" stories after "two days"!
Thanks paapa for your Advice ❤❤
Very sad how this overseas has treated people. Worth listening to this man! Very educative. Also He is hurt by the divorce because he came to love this woman who also sacrificed a lot for him, but these abroni’s, most of them are not committed the way we are in relationships or marriages. Once they sense some stress, they are out! Mr Wilson, may the rest of your years be peaceful as you prepare for pension. 🙏🏾
You are knowledgeable 👍🏽
Not to worry, my friend, It's faith, live it to God.
U are truthful. God never sleeps
We need to situate success in a proper context. He is measuring his success with building a house. Others will measure same success with citizenship, good healthcare and other things.
Anyways, I'm glad he doesnt wholly belittle the issue of travel.
Nigerians , Ethiopians, and other Africans help each other than Ghanaians in abroad .
Aswear bro
Na true talk I also Dey uk 🇬🇧
Ghanaians are selfish
Put it in mind that not everyone will make it in the state so you guys should stop saying I will not advise anybody else to travel
U are right
This can’t be me,, selling my properties to travel for what reason,, a country that there’s no life😒
Say it and say it again 🤣🤣🤣
@@doublevtv it doesn’t make any sense to me
But the youth today thinks abroad is the answer for hardships
@@christanciaamponsah2407 oh yeah but I won’t blame them too much because they have no idea how it is,, I was one of them till I got here lol
i think if this man had good documentation his storyline would've been different
It depends on the woman and not the race. Ghanaians, Christians, Asantes, Ewes etc marry each other and still divorce. How can you expect a whyte woman you met in UK to move with you to Ghana? Ghana is not easy to adapt to if you were not born there.
Exactly...he's only thinking about himself
Mr Wilson’s choice is you must stay with the wife and just visit home once in a while
Bro, staying abroad in itself is very stressful, no matter how well off you are, especially if you appreciate how good we have it in Ghana. Ghana is blessed in so many ways that if we did our part as citizens to improve the basic necessities many who go abroad to hustle would come back in a heartbeat beat to settle.
Retiring and living abroad comfortably requires a lot of planning and investment. Investing enough into the retirement system so that you wouldn’t have to work again after retiring. Many who “retire” abroad go back to work just so they can supplement their retirement check which usually cannot even pay your accommodation.
With proper planning, and building something small in Ghana, the little retirement check you get from abroad can be enough to carry you through.
what an honest and simple man. my only issue is that he couldn't gather the courage to drive professionally while there.
The truth is that some people build huge house they can't complete.
She was his Devine helper, her mission in his life was over.
Touching story. God bless your hustle daddy. Krobo to the world. Am from Somanya Yilo/Sra yiti .Much love from Switzerland.
Southport is really close to Manchester. It's a bit strange that this man says there are only 4 people is Southport.
Life is not easy in abroad and everyone lucky is different. This man has suffered from his life and things are not going well with him. I don’t blame him for not living in UK 🇬🇧 after his retirement, but going to live in Ghana 🇬🇭🤔
He is a good man
Don't go to brokered without permanent residence.
He has sense when it comes to the plan of going home. No place like home. I love my country Ghana 🇬🇭
This man has gone through alot. Hmmm life
what a testimony, this woman was your God sent angel to help this man with his papers . So sad you broke up.
Yes I have listen to the end , have live in Europe for 45years , I never dated a white woman before , Because of this……………. She can live you at anytime , black men should TAKE NOTICE, NO WHITE WOMAN WILL LOVE ❤️ YOU TO THE END.
May God bless you for your story, hmm life is not easy at all.
U have to sacrifice something to get something is anoda bold decision.
But you can still be look after in your own home in the UK 🇬🇧 too
I don't think he bought a house in uk,alot of old boggars never bought a house abroad and didn't build any in Ghana too so is left in a predicament at old age.
I think you need to understand the woman she still has thirteen yrs old with a job, what is she coming to do in Ghana, she sould keep the marriage and let you go
Hmmmmm abroad is not easy, may God help all the hustlers this man is very honest
I have a strong feeling that, he neglected the family back home in Ghana for all those years. Perhaps thats why the ex wife has been difficult with the children.
Please don’t be judgmental. Your “strong feeling” or perception is not necessarily the truth and must not be injected here. You heard his story. You heard how long he was moving from place to place, perching with people, sleeping at train stations for months…without even the means to make a phone call.
Please be reserved in your judgement of others’ woes, trials, and tribulations. Until you find yourself in their position you’ll never know what it feels like.
@GK-hp4gt you definitely have no idea how difficult it is to raise 3 children on your own as a woman...if its difficult in the uk as at that time, its was definitely difficult for the woman too...he's not judging. He is obviously saying why the woman was being difficult...Have you heard the woman's side of the story?
DJ .. TO ME. IF YOU DON'T NOTTING AND YOU HAVE PAPERS IN ABROAD AND OLD AGE YOU ARE NOT GOING TO THINK ABOUT FOOD.. FROM 65 YEARS OF AGE AND YOU DON'T HAVE ANY THING IN GHANA THAT IS WHERE PUNISHMENT IN LIFE IS.. PAPA EVEN 500 RETIREMENT MONEY WILL BE OK..GHANA
Next time you comment, please use the right grammar/words, so we can understand you better.
I know Isaak he is good brother indeed now I empathise his struggle
I love this interview... But there are a few lessons from it.
1. Die wit dame het eers ingestem om saam met hom Ghana toe te trek, maar het omgedraai ...
a. I think the issue was because our man didnt build the any link between her and their planned retirement base which is Ghana. She only came to Ghana once to help him return. There was no other mention of any kinda visit to Ghana to familiarize and get used to the space. She has no friends or family here and nothing in terms of job or business to motivate her to settle here.
It isnt even easy to relocate to a place you aint familiar with even as Ghanaians coming back home is not easy if you spent all your life overseas.
We only go abroad where we have no relatives because of the money hope to make.
He is a goood man but planning is key. My sister abroad is nearing retirement and for the plan, she is frequenting Ghana with her kids and husband. This is a way to ensure they visit her and see this place as their home too.
b. What is the age gab between him and white lady? . If the white lady is not due for retirement, then there will be issues.
Also, what savings have they made to sustain the standard used to by them. Their kids colleage etc.
The lady may be staying cos of the little boy they have. His future you know.
2. He is coming back after years, but wether it is his fault or not, he has not done so well with his Ghanaian kids... This relationship with the kids here isnt strong to sustain him.
3. Success abroad should not be measured on only building but relationships built to help others back home. If he had even sponsored a single child via school to become someone, then it can be said to be fruitful.
4. Education education education.... Whereever you find yourself.
5. a. He lost the Ghana job due to communication issues. If master sends you but wife calls you back. Get back to master to speak to the wife. Once you disrespect the wife of the master, it is like disrespecting the master and she will show you where power lies.
b. If Grandmum and boss love you make sure you dont disregard the LIFE SUPPORT OF THE BOSS.. wives are powerful in their influences...lets remember Joseph in the Bible.
Mr Wilson, why can't you also sacrifice for love sake. According to you , she sacrificed for you just sux months of knowing you. Please kindly change your retirement move to Ghana plan and get remarried with your love once again for the sake of love and the boy. Please, the love is still there just talk it over with her and change your plan and you will be happy once again. I am sad hearing your story and I can see you are also not happy, you nearly shed tears.
Very humble man
He is right not to drive if you make mistake in driven in uk you will go to uk
Great interview. God bless you Mr Wilson
Mr. WIlson, please take me as your son and help me with the job opportunity. Im qyt educated too, son-father relationship goes beyond blood relations. Wanti Wanti no Get, Getti Getti no want
Wonderful story of perseverance and hustle. God bless the white woman for what she did. It seems to me the man was spending too much time in Ghana and the white woman may be got worried. My opinion though.
Am 45 in USA why you rush to get to Ghana?
What I will is Europe is luck.
The white wife did her best to help you. She was an angel in your life. The divorce came as a result of genuinely telling her the truth about your retirement plan. She wants to live in London, so I'm glad you're not blaming her. She doesn't want to be lonely after your retirement. Keep your eyes on your child, the child is a product of a good man and an angel woman. Mensah, has also been good to you and you ended with an honest respect and praise.
I think her prose in ur life has been accomplished
Tough and hard life . Good luck bro
Touching story
Bow to Hackney is never 3 hours walk
I think God brought her to your life for a purpose and that purpose has been accomplished. If it's God's will she'll come back to your life. You've been through a lot
He should go to canada
as a driver he will make loads of money,uk is over rated
You had to stay in your peace with the obroni since you are saying she was good
Hmmm sir please and please again no matter how hard it is please look for ur kids unless the woman is hiding something maybe . But parents ur kids dea try to have effective communication with them is very important.
Very interesting conversation 👍🔥
Real talk
But what are you coming to do in Ghana. The question is must you come home
All I will say is this situations are nothing new, and I believe Mr. Wilson is well aware of this already. Problem with these obronis by nature do not have the capacity to love for life. They are sometimes good for a season. Just go and find yourself some fine woman in Ghana to carry on with. There still good ones out there.
Utter nonsense. They are incapable and black people are capable? Have you seen the divorce rate in Ghana for the last years? Do you know what some Ghanaian women are doing to men abroad? Do you even watch this show consistently? Good for a season? You use them for nkrataa and when you get your karma then you complain. How do you expect a woman that you met in UK to move with you to Ghana? If your Ghana was good for you why did you go to the UK in the first place?
Am about to sell my car n one shop to fly ooo, may3 confused ruff😢
😂😂😂😂
Don’t be just be focus
Hi
Hm, is abrokyire worth it, not everyone there is successful o be content with what you have
If you have a genuine work permit and ready skill, sure. But not you're 40+ and want to hustle!
Why don’t you stay in UK?
Very insightful
Most people think that there's a money treee abroad so when they arrive they turn to live a life that doesn't suit their budget and expenses, most people are also lazy they dont want to learn, life doesn't work that way, they lack skills, there's no short cut to the top
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
