I own a Benelli Lupo chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. I bought it in December 2021 and I am still impressed how accurate this rifle is. In the factory test, my rifle achieved a 0.78 M.O.A. group, which is already great for a factory rifle with factory ammunition. However, I was still able to get better results using Sako Gamehead Pro 165 grs ammunition and an A-Tec Optima 50 suppressor. All my groups with this setup were below 0.5 M.O.A. - even the 5 shot groups. If I had not shot those groups myself, I wouldn't believe how accurate this rifle is. I paid 1550€ for the rifle and I'm pretty sure you will not find a rifle with comparable accuracy anywhere below 2000€. Thank you Benelli, you did a great job with the Lupo!
@@troyzieman7177 It doesn't like heavy bullets, especially if you want to shoot lead free ammunition. Bullet weights up to 165 grains are fine, but it really doesn't like 180 grain bullets and above.
What exactly do you mean it doesn’t like heavy rounds ? Would you prefer any other type? I just purchased one in 300 win mag and it being my first hunting rifle, I’m a little lost on what to expect and what to do to aid and compliment the rifle
Congrats on exelent choice. I also want to buy one and it will be my 1st huntin rifle, but cant decide on caliber, im somwhere betwen 6,5 creedmore, winchester 308 or one u got. Barel lenght is what really bothers me, i would go for 26 inch barel for 300 win mag, but cant find one. What barell lenght u have??
Thanks dude, you helped me make my decision. Handled one at the NEC and ordered next day. Always good to cool off a bit… I had the same problem with the bolt that you had on my first live round outing but mine was accidental. I was taking the bolt out of a tight pocket in my bag and managed to turn it😮 Obviously I hadn’t read the manual so 30 minutes of head scratching then (out in the back of beyond…) found I had a signal. Manual download and hey presto - put the bolt in backwards. Genius. RTFM!
How is it after 2-ish years? I can’t wait to fire mine. I have mine reserved here in Croatia awaiting only the paperwork-wood finish, bronzed barrel, chambered in .308-it is an absolute beauty to behold. As soon as I saw it I just had to have it. Not cheap… but nothing good really is.
Can you please show us or ME, how to get the firing pin back into the bolt. I made the same mistake as you did and now I am struggling to get the firing pin back in correctly.
I am ready to pull the trigger on one...except...Benelli has yet to offer the exact one you review (with BeST) in standard black...in the US. Not sure why that is.
I wonder if there is a reason for the different threading....? Mine has a 1x14 , but yours is a 1/2×24.. if I heard correctly. I'm also in Europe. Excellent video. 2👍's up.
Ozzie reviews has done reviews on both guns on his channel here. He’s less than impressed by the S20, particularly by it’s accuracy. Only one opinion of course, but he seems to know his stuff.
I saw someone comment on another review video of this rifle and said he has it chambered in .300 Mag and he lives in Alaska and said it was very reliable in extreme cold temperatures
Great review but as you said its a hunting rifle. Would love to start seeing these reviews shot free hand or bipod or against a tree. Something that actually represents what hunting is
@@racknload that's cool. Thanks for the reply. Just our of the 1000s of shooting and hunting channels no one is really doing it. A few show positions on how to shoot in the field but aren't testing there accuracy of the rifles while doing it. My deer don't stand up long enough for a 3 shot group usually lol 🤣
I'm really worried about how the barrel is attached to the action, like is it crimped to it or is the barrel threaded and screwed into it, could you maybe explain how that part is joined together because if the barrel is crimped that is a huge deal breaker or is at least a negative point for me to buy this rifle. Maybe you could do like a disassembly video since I can't find any, that would be really cool but anyway this was an awesome video loved it :)
His has the B.E.S.T. finish. It only comes in certain calibers. It is to protect the metal parts with a 25 year warranty. My Lupo didn’t have it either. I have the 243.

I have been looking at this one in while specifically the 300 win . Sounds like you are very pleased with it . Any down sides you have noticed ?

All I’ve Got to say about this Benelli Lupe is wow 🤩
Thanks Rack another great review

Nice one buddy! It was only a review gun that I had a few weeks. You will love it!
Funny, funny, funny. It’s good to see that spontaneous bolt disintegration happens to others as well. Thanks for that.
Can you please show us or ME, how to get the firing pin back into the bolt. I made the same mistake as you did and now I am struggling to get the firing pin back in correctly.
Nevermind... Took a couple of minutes to figure it out... but ofcourse, I didn't read the manual... ALWAYS read the manual
Nice review. Wish you would have shown dis/reassembly of the bolt
I’m on the fence between this or the tikka t3x hunter. Any suggestions?
If you can, handle them both...
I never though that out of all my guns that a bolt action would become my favorite..i put a griffin suppressor on mine and it shoots like a 22
How did you get the fireing pin back together I have the same problem
hopefully you figured it out, if not then I can help. I came to video JUST for that and he didn't show it. I was contemplating making a video of it.
I am ready to pull the trigger on one...except...Benelli has yet to offer the exact one you review (with BeST) in standard black...in the US.

I wonder if this rifle can be seen @ the shooting Show next weekend ??
It definitely will be! See you @ Stand B11!

How is it compared to sako s20?
Ozzie reviews has done reviews on both guns on his channel here. He’s less than impressed by the S20, particularly by it’s accuracy. Only one opinion of course, but he seems to know his stuff.
How does it perform in extreme cold weather?
Not tried it in extreme cold but I'm sure it would be fine...

good video
I love Benelli🙏

Hi buddy, I know what you are saying but I'm generally testing accuracy. Good idea to test them in different hunting style positions...

Hello Nyx, I can confirm that that barrel is threaded on the receiver and a threaded external nut is used to guarantee the correct headspace.
I have a LUPO in 300 win mag. Great rifle. How'd you get such a shiny glossy looking black barrel and bolt? Mine is black but not shiny like that.
His has the B.E.S.T. finish. It only comes in certain calibers. It is to protect the metal parts with a 25 year warranty. My Lupo didn’t have it either. I have the 243.
Benelli is watching ;)
Well I hope they subscribe! 😊
If the barrel was stainless or ceracote I would buy one
What’s wrong with the barrel on it?
Mine is 300win and it came with a “matt black” barrel I’m pretty sure this is just the older rifles or in the small caliber options
Not a great fan of the high gloss shiny finish on a hunting rifle.. Just me probably.
Any camouflage bandage will do (provides you with the additional stealth and anti-scratch layer).
Why you sound just like Rick Shields the golfer?
I don't, he sounds like me....
You don't know what cryogenic treatment is?
I do
