In my opinion he is the best singer that I have ever heard. I also reacted just like you after seeing the first song, I bonged watched the rest of his performances in the shows. I really like you dude, you are such an open person, we can see your feelings, I cried like a baby through most of his songs.
He sings in a different language on the first 4 shows French, Russian, English and Mandarin...later he does his native language Kazakh and Italian. He is a force for sure. He has come a long way since the Singer and he was incredible then. Hard to believe he was only 22 on The Singer. He sings in 12 languages overall but 6 in his Singer performances. Dimash speaks Kazakh and Russian. He is learning English and Mandarin. He has a natural grace and a heart that shines in his music. Dimash tends to reach out and drag you in before you even know he has done it. 😊 Thank you for reacting to him and bringing him to more people. He truly deserves to be known throughout the world on an even larger scale than he is now.

Часто читаю в комент., что утро встречают с Димашем , а я засыпаю под Димаша. Уже телефон с рук раз 5 падает и понимая, что утром на работу включаю и выключаюсь. Засыпаю не потому что скучно, а потому что его голос срабатывает успокаивающее обволакивает и усыпляет. Так и этот парень с 8 конкурса еле не уснул и пришлось остановить ролик послу "Незабываемый день" ( мы- то знаем ,что там есть продолжение). Хочется ему сказать - это нормально, не стесняйся. Голос Димаша магический и действует на всех по разному ( возможно от времени суток😊) ,но точно никого не оставляет равнодушным.
А по-моему сразу такую большую дозу Димаша получать чревато...😀. Если этот новый реакционер после первой услышанной им песни "S.O.S" так был шокирован, то теперь долго не сможет собрать свои мысли и не скоро вернётся на землю😀👌👍👏👏

They couldn't very well let him win, could they. But he became a huge overnight sensation in China. And his fame has spread because of this show. So, it's all good.

Dimash was 22 yrs. old when he appeared on this show. He was the first foreigner and the youngest ever to participate in the show, and that was by invitation. He was considered a dark horse. None of the other performers even knew what he looked like or anything about him. The show was a competition for professional and established Chinese singers only until Dimash was invited. After this first performance, the next day he had over 6 million followers on Weibo, the Chinese version of Instagram and they had to provide bodyguards. I watched the whole show, and believe me, Dimash should have won first place. The other wingers were quite good, but Dimash, well, he's Dmash. The winner was Sandy Lin who is a very popular and respected singer in China. So, maybe you can understand why, being basically an experiment on the show, he could not even be considered to win first place. The song, " Unforgettable Day" was written by Dimash when he was 19 yrs. old. The guy shown at the end of Opera 2 was his dad who surprised him by coming from Kazakhstan. The lady who said "wow", was the winner of the show, Sandy Lin. His only performance I didn't like as much was Uptown Funk, I think he just wanted a fun song. He absolutely killed All By Myself and Adagio and Confessa/ Diva Dance.

Sandy Lam is the lady that won the contest, she was an established singer in China with a large fan base while Dimash was an unknown when he was invited to join the contest as a wild card. Needless to say after the first show his popularity went crazy! I like this format, although you miss a lot of the back stories on some of the songs. I can't wait for you to watch some of the performances after Singer, Sinful passion will knock your socks off, diva dance, unforgettable day (his own composition he wrote when he was 19) the performance from his Gakko concert. The list goes on and on, he just keeps getting better and better. Enjoy the ride!😁❣️

Dimash was 22 yrs. old when he appeared on this show. He was the first foreigner and the youngest ever to participate in the show, and that was by invitation. He was considered a dark horse. None of the other performers even knew what he looked like or anything about him. The show was a competition for professional and established Chinese singers only until Dimash was invited. After this first performance, the next day he had over 6 million followers on Weibo, the Chinese version of Instagram and they had to provide bodyguards. I watched the whole show, and believe me, Dimash should have won first place. The other wingers were quite good, but Dimash, well, he's Dmash. The winner was Sandy Lin who is a very popular and respected singer in China. So, maybe you can understand why, being basically an experiment on the show, he could not even be considered to win first place. The song, " Unforgettable Day" was written by Dimash when he was 19 yrs. old. The guy shown at the end of Opera 2 was his dad who surprised him by coming from Kazakhstan. The lady who said "wow", was the winner of the show, Sandy Lin. His only performance I didn't like as much was Uptown Funk, I think he just wanted a fun song. He absolutely killed All By Myself and Adagio and Confessa/ Diva Dance.

Sandy Lam is the lady that won the contest, she was an established singer in China with a large fan base while Dimash was an unknown when he was invited to join the contest as a wild card. Needless to say after the first show his popularity went crazy! I like this format, although you miss a lot of the back stories on some of the songs. I can't wait for you to watch some of the performances after Singer, Sinful passion will knock your socks off, diva dance, unforgettable day (his own composition he wrote when he was 19) the performance from his Gakko concert. The list goes on and on, he just keeps getting better and better. Enjoy the ride!😁❣️
