I just came across your channel today and I can't stop watching your videos. I turned 24 this year and I'm really taking my skincare seriously. You give some awesome advice.
For the past 5 months I have been using a combination of skincare products that I picked up from watching your videos & I LOVE IT!! I had been suffering from chronic, adult acne for the past few years & I found no relief in sight using the usual drugstore combinations. After watching your skincare regimen videos & asking my dermatologist about Retin-A--I started using it along with the Olay micro-sculpting serum & cream @ night while using a prescription antibacterial topical during the day in combination with Cerave facial cleanser, Cerave PM moisturizer along with SUNSCREEN & I've seen a HUGE difference in my skin! I've only had a couple blemishes since starting my treatment, compared to daily multiple breakouts. I'm so happy with my skin now that I am comfortable wearing no makeup @ the age of 42! Thanks Angie!
I'm 24, for a few years I've been trying to search for many methods that would slow down the aging process. I knew that I found the right place for education when I came across your channel. Thank you so much for your time and effort to help all of us look and feel our best. By the way, you are are very beautiful woman Angie! I hope to look like you at your age.
It makes me so happy that you're taking care of your skin in your 20s (I wish I had)!! You'll definitely reap the benefits later on. Thanks for watching and commenting! xo ~angie
Love, love, love. What is so wonderful about you Angie, is that your Holy Grail products don't have to be the high end items that everyone else has mentioned. You can love a product based on it's ingredients and it's effectiveness even if it is an affordable/drugstore brand. Thank you so much for realistically representing the experienced woman!!!!
Love your videos, Angie!! I'm 21, but I find your advice on skincare very similar to my own skincare "philosophy". I also love the fact that you actually recommend products based on ingredients. I have dehydrated sensitive skin and alcohol and fragrances are also no-nos for me so I find your recommendations super helpful!
OMG, but at 24 you can recover from your mistakes! So glad you quit smoking and tanning beds. Are you wearing sunscreen every day? That will help you fade spots much faster while preventing new ones!
You go girl! Starting all the best skin care at 24 is amazing! We are so blessed with advice from Angie. She will guide you to the fountain of youth! I am 40 and wish I had her advice when I was in my younger years :( Better late than never (I hope)
Michelle, I think its amazing that you are proactive in your skin care at such a young age. I am 40 and a really just now starting to baby my skin and regret it.
i'm so glad you exist - seriously u have really helped me i'm 56 now & just now joining the world of makeup. i've mainly just been wearing lipstick til now.
Man... Gone are the days of Revlon, cover Girl, & Max Factor. There are so many choices and I love Angie for helping me sort it all out. Mid 50s & I prefer a no makeup look and I think you give me great advice. Thanks Angie!
I would love to see a video where you apply all of these products! I know that I have seen some (maybe most) of them in other shows, but I am sure never all together. Thanks for all of the great help you are for so many of us...your addicted viewers!
haha "This desert island must have a nightclub on it for all the makeup we are taking" ! Loved hearing your choices. Mine are very different but we agree on eye primer, but you were the one who turned me on to it. Thanks so much for sharing your faves. You work hard on your videos. I hope people appreciate that. xox
hello there! I am one of those mature women you mention that strayed away from wearing make up. I don't watch make up videos religiously, but I do often binge watch ~ especially yours, Angie. You are always so thorough and honest. Anyway, today I watched a few from 2012 and 2013, then to this one ~ may I say you look even more beautiful now than you did 3-4 years ago? You look truly radient in this video. Anyway, thank you for what you do and for sharing with us. Julie
i love your videos,Angie! i 'm 63 and i'm french ! i watch you from my little town at about 100miles from Paris ! Thank you for the person you are!!!!!!MUCH LOVE!!!!!!
I'm on my second tube of the Lancôme concealer (and it lasts forever!), It's the best. I also like the Rimmel lip pencils and own East End Snob. Haven't tried the Chanel foundation as I have dry skin. My HG foundation is the Guerlain Lingerie de Peau, which is dewy and has a decent SPF. For even more SPF (45) I wear the Dr. Jart+ BB cream in the lighter shade. Thanks for all you do for the mature makeup wearer!
Terrific Angie! I love the Chanel foundation, Lancome mascaras and Rimmel lip liners! Can't wait to try some other products you recommended. It would be great to see a tutorial using these products!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience Angie. I have huge a respect for your honesty. I am a few years ahead of you in years and a couple of years behind you in my Retin A journey ( only 3 months in and still peeling!!) I am holidaying in USA in November and have my shopping list ready from this video - thank you so much.
You've convinced me I need to try the Chanel foundation, it cosmetics bye bye pores, and Too Faced brow kit, and I totally agree with your thoughts on the Lancôme mascara. I'd have to say it's my favorite mascara I've ever tried.
Really like this video. I love to try new things and sometimes change my "holy grail" items but it's great to see that you have old favorites you still go back to.
When I switched from the UD lid primer to the Tarte lid primer I was SO happy to follow on that recommendation from you! Now I'll HAVE to try the Too Faced La Creme lipsticks! Thanks for all the helpful info for us older gals!
Thank God for you -- I am "of age" now and all of a sudden you have to struggle to find what works -- I'm glad you are doing the "weeding out" process for me! Thank you!
Angie, I think your skin is looking so youthful and glowing. You are gorgeous! I love your videos and I am going to try some of your recommendations since I am over 50 too. Keep up the great work.
I bought the Tarte 360 eye primer after watching you and I love it as well as you do. For my 56 year old eyelids it works just like you said it would. I own several, that I need to send to the graveyard. Mac pots that everyone raves about just look horrible on my lids and I have two of them. It cosmetics....I love all my it cosmetics. I would say the powder and blush would be with me on an island. Also, the it cosmetics lip stains or the lipsticks. Love those over all my lip products...and I have probably 40 tubes of all different high end and drugstore to choose from. But, since I have never tried the Chanel foundation yet, I would not leave home without my Armani silk foundation..once I found it, nothing compares for my skin. Thanks for your list, love and blessings dear.xoxo
Thank you soooo much for doing this tag! I was hoping you would! You're one of my favorite and most trusted youtubers. I really appreciate the time and honesty you put into your videos..
Angie, your makeup & skin looks absolutely stunning! This was definitely the one "ride or die" tag I've been waiting to watch. Finally found a moment (I'm a teenage boy x 2 mom!) to binge watch this tag and yours is the best for my skin & age! Thank you! ❤️💐
Just bought the concealer, eye primer and eyeliner. They are awesome! I also already have the foundation and loose powder based on your reviews. Your opinions are spot on. Going to try the blush soon. I am 49 and really value how thorough you are when considering products.
I finally purchased your holy grail Channel Perfection Lumiere Velvet foundation. What a difference! Since I started using a 10x mirror so I can see with my 56 year old eyes, I really see how crappy my makeup was looking. This is virtually flawless. I don't have oily skin but it still works. On days when I'm drier, I add L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Glow. This is another winner, though probably not for your oiler skin. Thank you for your recommendations! Always love your videos! Blessings!
Great list, Angie. You've introduced me to SO many products that have become my favorites too. In particular, love IT Cosmetics, Too Faced lipsticks, and the Lancome CILS Booster Enhancing Mascara Base just to name a few. So sorry to have missed you and Nisha in NYC. Enjoy the last sweet days of summer! ❤️
I am about halfway through a sample of your Holy Grail foundation by Chanel, which I finally picked up solely because of your high recommendation. In a way, I admit that I was kind of hoping it would turn out to be a dud for me, just like every other high-end foundation I've ever tried, because of the price tag. But.... HOLY WOW, is it fantastic! It does everything you said it does in your review, so much so that I'm still actually kind of stunned LOL! I swear, I owe you bigtime for that recommendation :)
So I got that Chanel foundation 2 weeks ago (Angie made me do it!) and I love it! I turned 30 this year and live in a very dry climate so aging skin has definitely set it for me. So I've really been appreciating your videos. Side note: if my husband sees me watching you he always does a double take! Lol 😉 your so beautiful!
Angie, I really appreciate you. You put in so much time, and your own money, researching and reviewing so many products for us. I also appreciate that you use both high end and drugstore products. I hope you are doing well with both girls out of the nest. It's not always easy. :) Sheri
Hi angie, I'm from Indonesia and i'm so glad having just found you vlog. I'm 60 yrs of age and i have been looking for the right tutorial vlog that suits me for skin care and make up. I think your vlog is very helpful on how i can care for my mature skin and do make up for my age. I may not have all the products you use or suggested in my country but i try to get them online. I think your video on ride or die tag is so good and i plan to get online all the holy grail products you use. Thanks for the suggestions and keep those tutorials in. I look forward to the next one.
I can't wait to try some of the products listed, I'm going to be 40 soon and feel I need a little more help now. Thanks for the great videos and information.
Hi Angie! I am 50 and I have followed you for sometime now based on the recommendation of a close friend. I follow your skincare routine exactly including the Retin A. My skin has never looked so good and I receive compliments often. I also use the Chanel Lumiere Foundation, but for dry skin. Thank you SO MUCH for all the time and research you put into your videos. I appreciate you more than I can say!!
I never really got on UA-cam to get info on what's good or bad. But I have to say I found your video's to be very educational, I have not used much makeup but now that I like "you "are not getting any younger I found you educated me on what's good and bad when buying makeup. Especially for over 50. Thank you so much😊 you have been a God send. Better late then never.... right😉
YES!!! Thanks so much for sharing. The TF La Crème lipsticks are my all time favorite as well. I also have about 7 or 8. They feel so wonderful on and look beautiful, too :)
Thanks for all the info on each product...I use the IT loose powder and the blush. Ive been looking for an eye primer so I think I'm going to try the tart primer. And the Too Faced lipstick...I dont like anything drying on my lips either so thanks for your recommendations! And congrats on being an empty nester! But they do come back! LOL!
I like the color of your Rimmel Lip-liner-- I agree, it's a good product. I was gifted with one in a nude tone, and I just use it constantly, with every lipstick color.
Hi, I watch all your videos and have learned a lot. For the past couple of years I have had a hard time finding a foundation that I like. I prefer light coverage, don't like heavy makeup. So based on your recommendation I tried the CHANEL Perfection Lumiere Velvet and love it! Gives me light coverage without having that smothery feeling. I also tried and love the sunscreen HyrdroPeptide Solar Defense spf30 that you recommended. I also use the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pore HD Powder, the It Cosmetics CC+ Radiance Hombre Blush. So you can see that you have definitely helped me. Thanks so much!
Me too. I just sent my youngest boy to college last week😫 I was so weird without the kids in the house. Only me and my hubby. I enjoy watching your you tube.
Thank you Angie; great video! I've learned so much just by watching you share your experience trying out different products. I'm using/wearing foundations, concealers, brushes and a brand new skin care routine learned from you. All is working AMAZING!! again; thanks a bunch ~Nina~
Love your foundation over 50 series. I have tried most of the foundations that you have tried and agree with your summary on almost all of them. We have very similar skin and I too have been on the hunt for holy grail foundations. I have never tried the Chanel velvet before but I will be ordering it thanks to you. I wanted to recommend a few of the best foundations that I have found. My holy grail so far is the YSL fusion ink, another pretty good foundation is the Clinique stay matte. I would love to know your thoughts on them. It is very hard to find recommendations for our age group so I am so thankful that I found your channel!
Great picks! Love your hg fotd...really flattering on you. That top really brings the colours out...pretty look. I need to watch that brow vid...your brows look perfect & soft & natural. Tfs :))
Thanks Angie, I had a la creme lip stick and it would always bleed into my lip lines but after watching your video I used the rimmel lip liner with it and it doesn't bleed and I love it!!!
Thanks, Angie for your videos. This was a good one. I have tried many of the products you suggest....some have been great and I'm still using them in my daily routines. While I'm older and have a different skin type and concerns, your advice has always been good and I think very sound. Love your channel bunches!
You look fantastic for your age Angie! Love all your videos. To my opinion you are one of the best beauty bloggers. You recommendations are so helpful. I am in the same age group and I have the same type of skin and its age problems. Thank you!
Awesome!! Angie, you really cracked me up today. When you talked about having "instagram ready..On fleek brow" for the desert island night club, I was laughing so hard I nearly fell out of my chair! Luv ya lady! xoxo
love your videos. new subscriber and have picked up some great tips and product recommendations. I would love to see a video of you doing your makeup using your holy grail products only mentioned in this video!
Would love to see you do the 'how I wore my makeup in high school' tag!! We are the same age and I have some clear memories of the 70's make up I wore lol! Just want to see if you were sporting the same type of look...
I use the same IT cosmetics powders and ombré blush. I also love the Rimmel lip liners. I started using IT when I saw one of your videos long ago. I appreciate your advice.
Your brows look so much better since you've been using those stencils, Angie. I am still using the Milani brow powder kit you rec'd years ago. Lasts forever. Same with Milani baked blush you used to use. The Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Concealer tube lasts years. I use one pinhead sized dot for each eye including the movable eyelid, which is red so I wear this as primer. I think I'll get that NYX contour stick. And someday I'll get the Chanel foundation although by then it will probably be discontinued!
Thanks, Angie! I started using the Timeless products on your rec. and LOVE them. Thank you so much for that. I also love the Rimmel lip liner in East End Snob, even under red lipsticks it works fine. I find I tear through them pretty fast, though, so I buy two at a time, wish they lasted longer but they are great.
Great list! As an over 40, I agree we need brows and liners. I find that all the powders I've tried dry my under eyes out. I've seen reviews for the By Terry loose powder- I can't remember if you've reviewed it. Love cream highlight & contour- guess I'll pop over to ULTA.
You have defiantly influenced a lot of my makeup choices since I am a mature women I need the advise of another mature women who's opinion I value .... Tarte eye primer and Chanel foundation for examples are now my go to!!!!
Have: Too Face Brow Kit-agree, Elf setting mist-agree, Tarte eye shadow primer-agree, NYX universal contour/hi-lighter-agree. I have bought these because of your recommendations. Love them. I am using Tarte dry powder foundation, but I am still on the hunt for a liquid foundation to work with my sunscreen that will not blotch, etc. I use TarteGuard sunscreen, which I love, but I have dry skin, so I guess the Channel Foundation wouldn't work for me. Thanks for all your insight and time you spend testing everything!
I also love the Lâncome concealer, is my favorite for summer!! And Angie, my other favorite is the Dior nude one,It´s a little more moisturizing than the Lâncome,so I use it more in the winter ,try it on a store, or ask for a sample, I think you´ll like it. I have to try that Chanel foundation....I always use the matte from Clarins. Try it too!!
You look lovely today , I'm thinking about trying the it cosmetics Blush you chose . It's beautiful . I will for sure be picking up theNYX contour /highlight stick . I didn't realize that most setting sprays contain alcohol , I use the elf one also , thanks
Thank you, Angie! I really need to try that next concealer. I have oily skin, like you, at 48. However, my undereye skin is now crepey & so many products badly excentuate it.
I love that your videos are so clear and to the point. Very educational. Thank you!
I just came across your channel today and I can't stop watching your videos. I turned 24 this year and I'm really taking my skincare seriously. You give some awesome advice.
That Chanel foundation is my all time favorite! So beautiful. Thanks so much for the video!! Love this tag!

I've only had a couple blemishes since starting my treatment, compared to daily multiple breakouts. I'm so happy with my skin now that I am comfortable wearing no makeup @ the age of 42! Thanks Angie!

Your skin care/makeup regimen is flawless!
+ you explain in detail each product you review.
Thank you Angie

Hi Angie. Yes I tried that baking technique and it worked great with the IT bye bye pores powder.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience Angie. I have huge a respect for your honesty. Angie this is the best makeup look I have ever seen on you. It is beautiful. You look vibrant.
I also just love the Elf setting spray - footnote to my post xxxx Suzy

Hi angie, I'm from Indonesia and i'm so glad having just found you vlog. I'm 60 yrs of age and i have been looking for the right tutorial vlog that suits me for skin care and make up.
I think your vlog is very helpful on how i can care for my mature skin and do make up for my age.

Love your no nonsense, straight shooting advice. I take your advice to the makeup store.
Thanks for all the info on each product...I use the IT loose powder and the blush. Ive been looking for an eye primer so I think I'm going to try the tart primer. We picked completely different products for our videos but that's why I love your channel. I get a new perspective!
Hi Angie! I use the same eye liners! But I discover Gosh, OMG! Super silky and smooth! Waterproof too! You should give them a try!
Me too. I just sent my youngest boy to college last week😫 I was so weird without the kids in the house. Only me and my hubby. I enjoy watching your you tube.
Lots of awesome ride or die goodies! I need the eye primer!
Love watching your channel! I recently watched some older videos and you have gotten even prettier over the last few years. Thanks for the info!
Thank you Angie; great video! I've learned so much just by watching you share your experience trying out different products. I'm using/wearing foundations, concealers, brushes and a brand new skin care routine learned from you. All is working AMAZING!! again; thanks a bunch ~Nina~
I also use IT cosmetics CC and love it. I am in my 50 and finding make up is hard. But I like to looked polished and fresh.
I'm so glad you did this video. I've been making a running list of your recommendations - but this shows me what to try first!
I love Too Faced La Creme lipsticks as well. Just the best!
Great picks! Love your hg fotd...really flattering on you. That top really brings the colours out...pretty look. I need to watch that brow vid...your brows look perfect & soft & natural. Tfs :))
I got the Rimmel liner and the la creme lipstick on your recommendation and like both. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks Angie, I had a la creme lip stick and it would always bleed into my lip lines but after watching your video I used the rimmel lip liner with it and it doesn't bleed and I love it!!!
This is the best ride or die tag I have watched and I've watched quite a few, thanks Angie
Thanks so much Benilda!! :D
Thanks, Angie for your videos. This was a good one. I have tried many of the products you suggest....some have been great and I'm still using them in my daily routines. While I'm older and have a different skin type and concerns, your advice has always been good and I think very sound. Love your channel bunches!
I use Tarte eyeshadow and their BB cream as foundation, love both! I'll have to try that primer, currently use Smashbox and am happy with it.
Luv ya lady! xoxo
Ahhhhh, LOL! That's a desert Island we should all go to together!!
love your makeup!! Your skin looks flawless
I love the NYX contour/highlight in Universal, I purchased based on your recommendation and it's the best!
Really love your videos Angie! I could watch them for like an hours!
Interesting info with a bit of humor. A bit of laughter lightens any mood. xoxo
love your videos. new subscriber and have picked up some great tips and product recommendations. I would love to see a video of you doing your makeup using your holy grail products only mentioned in this video!
You look gorgeous in those blue colors and your make up today is gorgeous!
You are learning me how to choose the right thing to care my skin
Just treated myself to the lipstick.. I love it!! Feels so nice and not matte
Would love to see you do the 'how I wore my makeup in high school' tag!! We are the same age and I have some clear memories of the 70's make up I wore lol! Just want to see if you were sporting the same type of look...
It would be a VERY short video… I didn't wear any makeup in high school!
Thanks Angie great video as aways, need to try that Tarte clean slate eye primer and the IT powder.
Love that you use a Chanel foundation and an Elf setting spray!! Whatever works... cost is not important! By the way, I use the Elf spray too.
Great picks Angie! I totally agree with you on the Too Faced lippies! Love them! Xo Linda
I moved from Chanel aqua lumber to velvet lumber - thank you for a great recommendation.
Been waiting a long time for this one! Made out my list and going to buy it all tom am!! Thanks a million Angie, great job!! Shuga McCain, RN
Great list! As an over 40, I agree we need brows and liners. I find that all the powders I've tried dry my under eyes out. I've seen reviews for the By Terry loose powder- I can't remember if you've reviewed it. Love cream highlight & contour- guess I'll pop over to ULTA.
I tried the sunscreen you used in Spain. The Isdin Fusion Water. It is the only sunscreen I will wear now! I LOVE it!
It's pretty great!
Angie you are so elegant I love all your videos and your recomendations your skin always stunning, I'm definitely gonna try all of them. thank you
You have defiantly influenced a lot of my makeup choices since I am a mature women I need the advise of another mature women who's opinion I value .... Tarte eye primer and Chanel foundation for examples are now my go to!!!!
I have had zero luck with liquid foundation over the years but I'm going to try the Chanel and report back 😁
Have: Too Face Brow Kit-agree, Elf setting mist-agree, Tarte eye shadow primer-agree, NYX universal contour/hi-lighter-agree. Thanks for all your insight and time you spend testing everything!
with your recommendation: I use daily the Sephora eyeliners, Elf setting spray, IT cosmetics powder. thanks for the help!
All great products, so glad you like them!!
Fabulous products! I think I'll be buying them all 😊💕
Loved your selection! To the point as always!

Angie, how do you decide on primers? I would love to see a video on how to know which primers to use.
Thanks for the tips! I will try the eye primer for sure. Love your videos Angie!
