If you wash the tempur cover does it lose coolness? Does it stay cool during the night? I am 5ft. 8 and 210 lbs. I fluctuate in weight do to body building. 180-215. However, I tried the pro breeze, not luxe, in the store and my broad arse shoulders kept jamming on the side laying position into the medium ( pro breeze ). So Since the pro doesn't come in a soft, I didn't know if Luxe soft was good? I sleep in al positions. However, If you wash the tempur cover does it lose coolness? Does it stay cool during the night? Nice honest review 👍 The wife and I just purchased a Split King after not too much research (we knew we wanted a Tempur Pedic) and thought we'd splurge considering we live in Florida and she and I have various back and knee issues. Couldn't have been more impressed once we tried this one out in the store, it comes Saturday and we can't wait to finally have a great night sleep again.

The base is zero clearance so you can put it on a platform frame that can take the weight. Behind the head there are USB ports. 4 layers of cooling. The bases now come with a smart base option with Ai. Super cool ! They take a while to get used of for some people. 60 month financing 0%.
Base is usable on wood frame bed as long as it does not have drawers. Remove slats and set inside bed frame. I sell and set these up. Have same base and mattress set.
We just bought the Pro Breeze Hybrid, with the adjustable base.. King size... From Raymour and Flanigan. We have a free standing wooden bed frame.. Headboard, footboard, side rails. I watched this review the night we bought the bed, but before it was delivered. I freaked when I heard you say it didn't work with a wooden bed frame. I called the store to ask about that. They said that it won't work with a PLATFORM frame, as that would interfere with the mechanisms of the base, but it's fine with a free standing frame...They install the beds in such frames all the time. The base and mattress just sits inside the frame. No mention of voiding the warranty. I can't see how a freestanding frame would in any way interfere with the mechanisms of the adjustable base, as the base just sits on the floor inside the frame.. Nothing on the base or mattress touches the frame. I have found info in various Temperpedic reference material (online) that say the base can be used with freestanding bed frames. Our bed was delivered yesterday. Have only slept on it one night, but so far we love it. I woke up without hip pain for the first time in a while!

@@Supa527 Hi. It's worked out just fine. As another person commented, you just take out the cross slats and set the adjustable base inside the bed frame. Fits fine. The side rails of the bed frame keep the frame together.

Awesome review guys! I recently got rid of my purple 3 and got the pro breeze medium hybrid that sleeps nice. But I was considering upgrading to this one. Only thing I was trying to figure out if I wanted the soft or firm.
Just bought the ProBreeze Hybrid medium and it’s Ok. I hope it softens up over time. Kinda second guessing my choice now. I wonder if the Luxbreeze soft would have been a better choice
Yes it’s way better than purple, I got adjustable base but it’s a bit firm so I took off mattress protector and it’s fine now. It does retain a bit of heat so keep room about 60-65 degrees.

In case you're not familiar with that terminology, it means that as the head of the bed raises up it doesn't move away from the wall. I'm so close to deciding on this bed base, but I can't seem to find that info anywhere. I have the sweetest little Bolognese dog who loves to sleep above my head. She is just 7 lbs -- like a medium size cat -- I'm worried if there would be enough room for her to fall through between the wall and the matress if the head was raised? Any thoughts you have would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Question 2 if you are willing. The extend seat -- have you ever been in an adjustable bed that didn't extend there? well, the bed isn't particularly bouncy, so jumping up and down on the bed isn't as fun as other mattresses. the mattress is pretty firm so running in and flinging yourself on the bed can be a pretty hard compact, but it's better than the floor. Crawling on hands and knees while making the bed or reaching across to grab a pillow, it is very soft and those pressure points give in nicely. Rolling back and forth I don't ever feel like I get stuck in the bed. I hope that helps!
the mattress is so heavy and with a body laying on it, it hasn't been an issue, so I wouldn't be able to say if it's gotten better over time. This mattress is pretty bendy compared to some of the other mattresses we've tried.
It's pretty firm, especially since you don't weigh very much- you won't get the same sinking feeling that a heavier person would get. I am a side sleeper though, so I like a little more give in my mattress. My current favorite is 700 Tiny Mattresses by Sleep Ovation, but it's very soft.

Misty Schaedig we just got this same mattress and the base. While we enjoy the base option, after a month of sleeping in it we do Not enjoy this mattress at all. I’m still hoping to like it with time, otherwise we would have to suck up paying this incredible amount of money in exchange for a mattress that hurts my back. the soft is still pretty firm and supportive. It will soften over time, but I think it will be good enough for your back :) Colin and I both struggle with back pain, and trying out new mattresses so often we have learned that it can take 3 weeks to adjust to sleeping on a new mattress, and after about a year, not all mattresses hold up- they soften and start dipping, etc. We haven't had this one for that long, and quite honestly we only slept on it for a few weeks before doing the review. Now I only sleep on it periodically because it's in my son's room, and we are in the process of reviewing another mattress. Every time I do sleep on it though, I love it! I would go back to sleeping on this mattress full time! I hope that helps :)

I think that means putting the mattress on the slats of an existing bed frame, which, yeah would not work as the Tempur-Pedic mattress is ridiculously heavy and needs to be fully supported. But if you take the slats out of the bed frame and set the Tempur-pedic base inside, the headboard, footboard and side rails of the frame are just surrounding the complete Tempur-Pedic base and mattress... it's just decoration.

So idk if once you broke this in it felt like the floor model or if it got softer.
My experience was Terrible with that big warranty they claim. Mine has a dip / soft spot in the middle which made it VERY uncomfortable. My opinion is to pass on this brand because of the so called warrenty.
They say they give 90 nights but no one talks about their "restocking fee." I don't know why they can't do what every bed in a box brand does and offer free returns if not satisfied. What are they worried about? Off people aren't happy you don't want them bad-mouthing you! I'm surprised they don't do that.
We ended up getting last year’s model of this bed & we love them. We ended up paying closer to $8k for the split king when they were running a promotion. It is so worth it though. My wife tells me that my snoring went away, That’s worth the price alone. Plus it really sleeps cool & I am a very hot sleeper.
Probreeze only comes in a medium and medium soft hybrid. The temperature management of the lux breeze is better. Also a firmer feel is available in lux breeze.

Yes, we have tried the Puffy mattress, it was my favorite for a long time! We only every tried the original though, so I'm not sure how it compares.

it basically just vibrates. You can adjust the speed and the placement though :)
