- In this video I will show you how to upgrade the interior light on a 2011-2016 Hyundai Elantra from the yellow incandescent bulb to the very bright and white LED light. The install is not too difficult and install time is less than 10 minutes. These LED lights will also consume less current than the original bulbs. I will also show you how to replace the trunk light with LED light. Make sure you watch the entire video for all the details.

ended up blowing a fuse replacing both visor lights. luckily the fuse box has spares
Thanks for the vid. I have a 2018 GLS Elantra and I discovered my map reading lights use 194 and the other lights use DE3175. Even though I ended up blowing the internal lights fuse while changing one of the lights behind the sun visor lol, this vid was very helpful :)

I have full led interior lights in my 2016 Elantra GT . Outstanding light output, I got mine from Precision LED. But others will work as well.

I recently upgraded my 2017 Pathfinder's interior Lights to LED modules, but sadly, I lost the the dimming walk up function. (when approaching the vehicle with the key fob the interior light will slowly come on with a subtle ramp up in brightness.) LED bulbs have lower impedance than incandescent and require less power, plus the simple circuits don't have any dimming function. Have you found any replacement bulbs for a Pathfinder that would preserve the dimming function? Or, a different type of bulb with that brilliant white color but still able to dim?
This is the case with all Nissans when you replace the incandescent bulb with LED. There is no workaround for this.
Any recommendations for a Hyundai Sonata SEL 2018 to change the same lights and high/low beams?
Do they get hot?

Is there away the led light can have two colors blue and white, that way you can change the light

I replaced all of my lights using this, everything worked good, (except a fuse blown) but my trunk light will not turn on now. LED or no LED. I don’t know what I messed up. Maybe I used too much force, as this was the most frustrating part of the tutorial, but the problem remains.
Mine did the same thing. When I swapped out the og bulb for an LED bulb it only turned on the one time and it was very dim. Now it won’t turn on at all🙃

The DE3175 fit everywhere else except the vanity lights. The ones I bought using your link seem to be larger than the contacts in the vanity light. Is there a smaller LED bulb I can get for the vanity lights? I successfully changed the spotlights, as well as the dome and trunk, but I can’t get the DE3175 to fit the vanity lights. Thanks.
Hi there, I am not sure why yours doesn't fit well. Because those are the ones I installed in my Elantra. If they are slightly longer, not sure if you can pull the contacts back a bit to get them to fit.
I would like red bulbs any advice?
After installing the LED bulbs for my interior, it blew the 10W dome light fuse. When I put back the old bulbs, the fuse didn’t blow. What is causing it??

One of your LED light might have a short circuit.
LEDs are so much better all round, one wonders why they are not standard.
Do this at your own risk, you could potentially burn out a fuse(s)
How would you know if you burn out a fuse?
@@royalforeverguy your interior lights won’t work anymore, and if you check the fuse for the interior lights it’ll be burnt out if you look closely at it
@@royalforeverguy I installed almost all of them in my interior and also for my license plate and trunk but the second I installed the one light for my back seats, the fuse burnt, so I took it out, replaced the fuse with a spare and kept all the other ones in and all worked fine, the only yellow light I have is the rear light
