Music like this used to be common in film. Now, film music is so flavorless. This really evokes the better symphonic music I heard in the films made in the 1970s and 1980s. A heroic spirit... The whole point of Mazinger Z: Infinity was to remind people of how inspiring these old characters are. I can watch a typical blockbuster today and it makes no emotional resonance with me and I generally forget that picture within a month. I saw Maz Z: Infinity several months ago and I'll definitely get when it gets released on home video in the US. Probably won't be until next year because the Japanese release hasn't happened -- not until August this year. The film HAS been released on video in Italy and France, however, but those releases are region-coded. The Japanese version, unfortunately, does not list subtitles for it which is typical of 90% of the Japanese market releases. The American version will likely NOT have a dub created for it...
