I know it sounds crazy, but not only can you make money with photography and specifically travel photography! For some reason travel photography has a stigma: there's no money and everyone wants you to work for free. I mean all we see on social is how to get free hotel stays, free product exchange, free hotel collaboration, etc. While this is the norm, there is a way you can stand out from the competition to actually make a living with photography in the travel niche. It takes work but it can be done.
Today I reveal my ultimate blueprint for making a career in photography. It's my 7-step process for landing consistent, high-paid travel deals including tips on photography business marketing and monetizing creativity. I think you'll find a lot of value in this one!

I really love your editing man!! Great video
This was so much more in depth than I expected, thank you
That's what I like to hear :)
I really resonate with the points you made. It’s really the marketing industry you’re working in rather than content creation if you’re doing these kinds of jobs. Which all comes down to problem solving and finding your clients needs!
100% content is a piece of the marketing industry at large so it's really important to understand both, especially so you can know the value of what you're ultimately producing. The difference in pay between a content creator and content strategist/creative director is off the charts!
Incredibley detailed video with so much useful information, thanks man!
of course stoked to hear you liked it!
Favorite video yet. Thanks for this info ✨
Heck yeah! Stoked to hear it!
Great info, Nash! Mahalo 😎🤙🏾
Heck yeah glad you got something out of it! Aloha
While I didn't expect some kind of message that this would be easy, I also didn't expect to need a marketing degree for this. Lol. Maybe I hire someone to do this while I take the photos.
you dont need a marketing degree to shoot but you need to know marketing and sales to land the big projects, or yes hire someone to do it for you. That's why I started my program cause it took me a while to learn all this myself and it wasn't till I had my sales and marketing dialed in that I could charge 5 figure rates
@@nash_hagenGood points!
Another great video! Thank you Nash!
Absolutely! Happy to help!
Hey Nash I'd love to know more about how you make your videos. The animations look absolutely fantastic. Do you do those yourself in after affects or do you pay an editor to do that? And are the animations presets or do you make all those yourself?
Thanks dude! I actually have an incredibly talented editor who dreams up all these animations. And I believe she uses a combination of presets as well as assets she's created from scratch. A good majority of the animations are custom though! She's super talented!
@@nash_hagen Wow I’m so impressed! Would you be willing to provide me with her email? If she’s a freelancer I may have some future projects I might want to hire her for if that’s something she’s open to
I absolutely love the animations. It helps me learn visually. She’s super talented too!
Hi! Do you work with content creators to film travel videos?
Yeah I do. Mostly client work though!
👍
I believe you. But just a thought. Book a good deal travel. Go with a friend to capture myself with a camera. Get good stock footage. Pay editor. And create a video(s) how to be photographer. Repeat, repeat. Good channel on sunject how to get rich can generate passive income and give time to do photography. Eventually, learning photography helps do better videos. Repeat, repeat. Alternative way for someone who is is good in sales and no time on tech learning.
You just called out half the industry 🤣 yeah theres a lot more to it than just being good at photo/video or good at sales. You have to actually know how to create offers, get clients results, and actually run a business which is a whole nother ballgame.
Finely constructed thoughts... No real advice here.
How the f. Ck do i have 15x times your subs?
lol you tell me. Maybe you know something I don’t 😂
@@nash_hagen i dont know dude u are a master editing anyways
