Awesome video/rundown! After 2 years of solely sticking to Origins. I finally gave in to Revelations back January. I bought Spikor and soon after, Stinkor. I was hooked. Now, I also have: Scare-Glow, Tri-Klops, Faker, Moss Man, Fisto, Skeletor & He-Man. No QC issues on any of the Masterverse figures. Origins, right out of package, come with loose goosey joints and paint issues and the (non) availability of the line will make you want to murder most times. So far, I have no problem collecting Revelations, they are always in stock and plentiful. Also, recently about half of my collection is on sale at Target. Faker & Tri-Klops, originally $32.00 are on clearance for $18.99 and He-Man & Skeletor are both 13.99 each right now.
I really liked this line from the beginning and still do. When I see these, and the price point, I feel MOTUR has more accessories and utilize more soft goods opportunities than Marvel. I won’t complete this line but will grab what I like and has that nostalgic feeling for me. Awesome breakdown as always bud.
I really love this video, i can see all the waves, and check which figure i need, right now i just miss 12, some of them the specials, the minis some of `em thanks for the video i`d like mattel sale a new grayskoll castell for this figures
I read some collectors want classics to return, but thats unlikely Imo... i have most of the Classics figures and these Revelations blend well enough in my collection..why not get these, at $20, no shipping cost, they can build a Masters collection.
Unlikely you say? We’ll have I got good news for you! They have announced that they will be bringing some classic looks for characters such as BeastMan and even He-Man for the 40th anniversary
@@ulfberht4431 when you say classics, its the Matty style classics. with the tooling used by Mattel then.. I typed this, the time Revelations-Classics style were revealed which is why I said by these instead.
@@drexsonaljames8345 yeah thanks bro. My only regret is I didnt buy 2 sets for one to sell later..lol!..jk.. yeah they did appreciate well, Fisto's now $350, & Ram Man's @ $250..it seem silly then to purchase them blindly with Matty, but it paid off.
I like some of these figures like Scareglow, beautiful package,, but I never found him in store. Instead, I found Moss Man it looks too made out of plastic and I feel like it was going right way but didn't get there. I don't know if that's the idea with the line but I just didn't get around getting him because of that. Thanks for all the research with the video!
I was trying to stay out of this line, but I always liked the packaging and the character designs of the Netflix figures. I found Moss Man for $5.00 at Target. I got Skeletor for $13 and Fisto at full retail. They seem to be going on sale everywhere so I don't mind grabbing them at discount price. I liked MOTU as a kid, but never enough to get into the figures. These may have changed my mind, lol.
@@TaylorTrask Not yet, but he's definitely on my list... in the last 5 months I've added Skelegod (got him free with amazon rewards, but he was only $13) Savage He-man/Orko 2 -pack (paid $13 with amazon rewards, but it was only $17) Andra for $11, Evil Lyn for $14, ScareGlow for $15, Deluxe Battle Cat (free with amazon rewards, but it was only $17) and finally the classic costume Teela which I paid $26 for because I was worried she wouldn't hit clearance. Of course she dropped in price a few weeks after I paid, lol... but $21 was the lowest I saw her go, so I'm not too upset. But yeah man, they're great figures. I'm waiting to see if that beast man and king grayskull drop to around $19.99 before I jump, but I really do want both. If it takes too much longer, I might just bite the bullet and pay retail, lol.
Mmm I need to find battle cat on sale(looks cool without the armor)...only gotten Andra, evillyn and skelgod. I skipepd the rest even the I saw it for $10s
These are ok but I prefer collecting origins. The head sculpt for he man was such a turn off, that it just turned me off to the whole line after. Revelation was ok, not what I expected or wanted it to be, but ok for what it is. Most peoples quarrel with it, is that it wasn’t what was promised to the fans. Origins is packed with nostalgia for me, grew up with these toys. I got my son a bunch as well, along side the cgi line.
I can agree with the head sculpt issue. The show was okay. Not what I expected. I just can’t do origins once I saw classics. So since I missed MOTUC Masterverse will have to do.
I see a lot of those New he-man figures at target 🎯 and at Walmart also but nobody is buying them there so many of them and I am not a He-man fan but those figures look cool but I have not Bought not even one I always buy marvel and dc figures and neca figures and spawn figures only that’s it.
@@heroesytumbas I watched both and there is more wokeness in the goofy CGI show then Revelations. I was not going to watch anymore Revelations after the first episode, it was well after the second half came out that I was so bored on night I said I would watch the rest of it and honestly if it were not for a few things they did stupid it would have been ok. I dont mind the CGI one either but I am looking at it is not He-man but something fir small kids of today. If you are trying to push of revelations as more woke then the CGI version then you are way off. Not only does the CGI version do a lot of race swapping but it also does a ton of gender swapping as well. I didnt see any of that in Revelations.
Oh I was super pissed that He-man died in the first episode and that yeah the show focused a lot on Teela. I hated Teela's personality in the first 5 episodes but she improved in the second half. I really hated the Evil-Lyn hey Skeletor lets F$#k scene that was awful. and I really hated Evil-lyn transforming into some cross between a man and I muscled up woman just because she took the power she all of a sudden goes from wavy white hair to a butch brush cut weird. These are the things I hated the rest was ok mostly sprinkled with some cool moments. I initially thought it was going to be a pile of woke crap but after coming back and watching the whole thing and now seeing season 2 of the CGI version the CGI has revelations beaten hands down for wokeness.
@@LMG3D3DPrintingEnthusiast I never mentioned the cgi show. But yeah, is bad. The difference is that one is your run of the mill kids show that's goofy and animu like, while revelations was supposed to be a continuation of the original show but made EXPLICITLY to subvert it and take a dump on the fans. Not only turned He-man into a guest character in his own show, but the way Teela and Evilyn were portrayed and justified made the show nothing but woke propaganda.
