    Hey man! Nice video, although, in my CLA 200 (M270 engine) I had to add 5.8 L of oil, how does it differ from yours?

    • @doit_vehicles
      @doit_vehicles  4 роки тому

      This is a 1.6 liter , I guess your is 2.0 liters ?

      doit_vehicles no, sir. It’s the same, 1.6 (1595 cm3) engine, only with higher output (156 hp). I bought 6L of oil and i still have 0.3 L left in the bottle.

    the question of how to turn the filter. The filter has two different sides

  • @dimmacommunication
    @dimmacommunication 3 роки тому

    The engine takes 5.8 liters ,if we are talking about the M270DE16
    You should have unscrewed the filter before changing the oil ,that way 0.5 liters were still inside the filter housing.

      I agree and what about the instruction forr re filling the oil:
      Add oil with oil filter removed? Then attach? Cheers

      @@aqib2000 Uncrew the filter when changing the oil, then insert new one.
      After the new filter is in pour the oil :)

      @@dimmacommunication no, Mercedes recommends; unscrew filter housing before drainage and put in new filter after old oil is drained, but only tighten the housing after the new oil is added. So tightening the filter housing is the last step.

      @@dimmacommunication you don’t said that the filter housing needs to be tightened at the last step, after the new oil is in :) that’s the only thing. Don’t feel attacked mate :) all good here

    Always best to remove the oil filter before draining the oil, then you won’t have the oil suspended in the filter housing trapped in the sump
