- There is no other state that I love more than Virginia. I have traveled around the United States and have not found anything close to Virginia.
My state has everything for young and old. There are quite a few colleges/universities, any profession/jobs that you can imagine, nature/wildlife, tasty worldly cuisines, and did I mention entertainment? Check out my latest video to find out why YOU should consider one of the best places to live in Virginia!

Grew up in NOVA and went to Langley and UVA! Miss VA but not sure I miss NOVA itself. Too crowded these days.
what is nova mean
Northern Virginia isn't known for its graciousness, hospitality and manners. Everyone is out for themselves. No matter what time or day you drive, the roads are always congested and crowded. Too many people and too many cars.
What are your recommendation where to live?
New Kent County and Hampton Roads
I lived in northern Virginia for a very short period of time then moved to Illinois for my graduate studies, I miss northern Virginia but I’m not sure where to go exactly.. Virginia or Maryland? Which one has low taxes? I started to hate living in Illinois. I have to secure a job there before I can actually move out of Illinois but I haven’t been looking, with the pandemic I decided to stay in here for a little longer but the pandemic is almost over and I think it’s time for me to move out of here.
For the rest of Virginia, we would gladly give NOVA to DC if it becomes a state. The DC blight has spread southward all of the way to The Peoples Republic Of Charlottesville.
I don't like Virginia anymore, even as a 12th Generation Virginian. It has all kinds of things wrong with it now that I can't say here.
It works for us as of now. If you were to move, where would you go to?
@@northernvirginialiving Perhaps Virginia Beach or Southwest Virginia. I'm a real Virginian, used to Southern culture, and the outsiders kind of took over half of it.
@@MeadeSkeltonMusic I know, it's tough. What about Tennessee or West Virginia? Or, are you so Virginian, that you just can't see yourself leaving? That I can respect. I lived in Northern VA for almost 30 years. It used to be okay. We were basically driven out, due to harassment / discrimination and changes in politics. We're moving to Metro Phoenix, AZ. I'd have loved to have stayed in-state, but the commute would have been too far for my husband, and that still wouldn't have fixed the lack of legitimate political representation. I'm done having no hope of my vote ever counting.
@@MeadeSkeltonMusic I hear that. I move an hour west to West Virginia. I love the policies here much better
