I never thought I would see my own home town mentioned on the infographics show since it is very small. Whitehorse, YT Whitehorse is one word though, still so cool! Big fan from the Yukon, Canada
Grandpa! Ralph Flores that is. Loved my grandpa so much. His perseverance, faith, intuitiveness and commitment have always been an inspiration for me. And trust me, it was never a good idea to leave the dinner table without finishing your food.
I saw this video in my notifications and title was "I was trapped for 49 days" and thought was "Oh😥! This is better not be a challenge video and lose my favourite guy in this channel"
I always find stories from the Canadian Territories/Northern Alaska are very interesting and enjoyable. Just cause you know their stuck in the cold tropical.
That sermon played when talking about the Bible was powerful. Allow me to quote, “blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah, blah blah blah” I live by these words.
Makes you wonder if the animator or narrator may be atheist with some grudge against the bible, maybe from a strict religious family 🤣 is what I envisioned atleast
i'm super confused, how did they live without food for that long? also how the fck did they not freeze to death at that temperature without serious winter gear? this is an anomaly on all fronts. most people would've died long before that.
Well, the avg for surviving without food is ~3 weeks. I'd imagine they were able to not lose too much energy via shaking due to their insulation in the tent
@Ziad Khaled a pillow ain't gonna help at -45F. that's literally flash freezing temperature in an industrial freezer. i still don't get it. a 24/7 fire is the only thing that makes sense to me.
It's all fun and games until you fly over the Yukon Territory in a plane with no supplies and with a pilot who doesn't understand the plane's instruments.
This actually isnt that true. One she also had a concussion. They also weren't the only ones on the plane. They used the dead passengers to cover cracks on the plane to keep warm inside. They ate the food in the first few days and only survived on water the rest. I dont remember that much more so I cant tell you if it's all correct.
The fact that they survived in the middle of nowhere with injuries and the bitter cold is nothing less than amazing!
TheConqueringRam id refer to it as a miracle
Did anyone else read the title and think “wow the challenges are definitely getting worse” for a few seconds 😂
The challenge guy makes a cameo in this video, so you never know.
Yes!!
I guess than that was his/her intention from the beggining

When it’s so cold that Fahrenheit and Celsius are almost the same
-40°
-40 is the sweet spot...it’s the same temp in Celsius and Fahrenheit
this comment made me laugh I don't know why it just did
Yes when the temps drop below 0 Celsius and farenheit are the same which I'm glad 😄
Grandpa! Ralph Flores that is. Loved my grandpa so much. His perseverance, faith, intuitiveness and commitment have always been an inspiration for me. And trust me, it was never a good idea to leave the dinner table without finishing your food.
Flores: “Let me guide you to heaven!”
Helen: “No.”
This just made me smile so big. I love stories with ending such as these ❤️
Wait so the 40 year old man died in 1997 and the old man who found them is still alive today?

Hardy people of the wild tend to live quite long
You willingly got on an airplane with this guy. Nice.
Wow, these are really interesting stories. I am extremely addicted to listening to them. Thanks for the awesome content, The Infographics Show!
Ok that guy really should never be allowed to plan a trip much less drive anything
I saw this video in my notifications and title was "I was trapped for 49 days" and thought was "Oh😥! This is better not be a challenge video and lose my favourite guy in this channel"
I love ❤️ The infographics show
So informative and cool!!!
for crying out loud only after 40 days he thought about using the mirror to signal the planes and making black smoke
That's kind of insensitive, but also very true.
Some people are slow thinkers. Extreme cold just makes that even slower. Thinky pain very uncomfortable.
Yeah , clueless about rescue tactics and basic navigation.
Where did he even get that mirror from???
He probably got the mirror from her luggage
I was trapped in an infographics channel for 49 days this is how I liked the video

nachos
They absolutely had to be sharing body heat.
Well, the avg for surviving without food is ~3 weeks. I'd imagine they were able to not lose too much energy via shaking due to their insulation in the tent
They were probably overweight. The amount of calories consumed just to maintain body heat on those conditions would have starved a slim person.
@Ziad Khaled timestamp? no they didn't.

I thought this was the Northern part of Canada?
It is. Whitehorse is the Capital of the Yukon. The Yukon is one of 3(2 at the time) northern territory of Canada.
