Thanks for video. Would love to see YT teachers leave a link to tutorial files used in video. I realize this file is easy to create but often times I run into problems if file is not exactly as you made it. Thanks
Hi Kristi, thank you so much for buying me a coffee and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate you 🙂 I've created many videos and projects using publisher, which will guide you through all the steps to design various projects on my channel. I aim to keep my content beginner friendly, and hopefully you may learn something new if you'd like to check out my other videos too. I hope you have a great day, and thank you again for your kindness with buying me a coffee 🙂
That was a really helpful video! Thank you so much! I would be glad if anyone could tell me how to create a textstyle in the first place (f.e. "Body" like in the vid) But many thanks for helping me out! I am a complete newbie
I have not been able to figure out how to retain italics or bold for text when changing the font when using styles. This is problematic for footnotes because I need to retain italics for book names. I have deleted all the styles and created from scratch; I have created the styles in Word and "placed" the document in the text frame, which does carryover into Affinity, but if I need to make any individual changes or make a style change altogether, once I apply it, all the italicized or bold characters change to normal. I then have to manually re-italicize the characters, which is tedious for hundreds of footnotes and throughout the document. Do you have a solution? Thanks

Useful stuff but now I want to know what's so secret about Topic Number Ten?
I miss the possiblity of enlarge the font size per one point, not to chose from a given range. This was possilble in Indesign.
