Dutch Lesson 1: Most common words in Dutch by Bart de Pau.
Dutch language course "1000 most common words in Dutch" is developed by Bart de Pau. This video is Dutch lesson 1 in a series of 40 videos, with each 25 Dutch words.
The online Dutch course is aimed at beginners, who want to learn Dutch online fast and want to reach quickly a basic vocabulary, without spending too much time on grammar.
You learn dutch words and the english translation, and a picture. For learning pronunciation, each word is repeated twice.
Best way to study the course is:
1) watch this video 1 or 2 times
2) study the word list online Dutch lesson 1: www.learndutch.org/lessons/int...
3) do the test;

repeat it if you made mistakes
4) no mistakes in the test - then go to the next lesson

I am from the USA....My dutch girlfriend was been teaching me dutch so every morning I have to say good morning to her in dutch so she taught me to say it in dutch ,...Ik hou van jou....It makes her smile so I must say that one real well !

+david anagla koffi some people don't stress the guttural f that much, and in Flanders (to the south of the Netherlands) you don't hear the difference at all sometimes

Hello I am an Indonesian national. As I've been told our national language bahasa Indonesia borrowed a great amount of Dutch words but unfortunately Dutch is not taught in our schools. At the age of 50 I just find Dutch very fascinating to learn. Hopefuly I'm not too old to learn this beautiful language. That's a great vudeo!!!

@holis especially the "bureaucratic words" in Bahasa are the same as in dutch. For example Rekening, Notaris, Advocaat.

Every time I hear "doei" spoken by my Nederlands family, I think of Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Excellent course. I am learning so I feel less left out in family gatherings.

Ik voel mik nu, een groter deel van deze nederlandse raadsel daarmee oplossen te hebben, als met jouw andere filmpjes. En jouw filmpjes maaken me de woorden herinnerbarer als simpele internet vertalers te gebruiken het doet.

@@rosalielagerburg5700 yes but only when you use the verb "gaan" (to go). In English all the verbs are with "to", but in Dutch they're not, because you spell and say them differently.
So 'mwoh' = 'meh'
I'd agree but you generally don't really want to talk about it when you say meh

Mijn zus woont al bijna 20 jaar in Nederland en ik reis vaak naar Nederland. Ik heb sinds 2010 veel vrienden gemaakt, het was echt gemakkelijker voor mij om Engels te spreken, hoewel ik alle gebruikelijke woorden in het Nederlands ken en ik nog steeds vind het is moeilijk om meer zinnen te maken Nederlands geleerd. hey Bart, just wanted to say that im gonna start the dutch course now that im in university holidays + quarentine...what a good excuse to start with this language; i already have some knowledge in reading but nothing else at all, im Colombian and planning to live in the Netherlands in a future since i got in love with this country after 2 years of living in there when i was doing an international exchange.
