I am still wondering why no one in india have made a video on the true history and origins of jainism, it is either even older than hinduism or have originated parallely with hinduism because there is a mention of lord rishabha in rigveda, oldest text on earth and it only tells the lineage of rishabha which means lord rishaba existed much older than that even older than indus valley civilization, even india's ancient name came from rishabha father and son, nabhivarsa and bharatvarsa respectively although jain texts says even ancient name of india as jambudvipa...! No one can tell the true history and origin of jainism...

I'm a Jain, and a practicing one, Lord Ram is our idol because as per jainism, he attained Nirvana. (Same as Hinduism) Jainism is part of Sanatan Sanskriti which doesn't means that it's part of Hinduism, it's not. It means Sanatan Sanskriti is made of Jainism, Hinduism, Bhudhism and Sikhism. And If we talk about who is the oldest, Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism all 3 believes that they are the oldest. It's just that we are not taught this in UPSC, State PSC, NCERT etc. Even if we talk about the Historical evidence and historical manuscripts, Jainism & Hinduism both have many evidences that they both are at least 5000 years old (Sindhu Ghati Sabhatiya times). Just read about what many of the indologists had said about history of jainsim. It's as sanatan as Hinduism. Even in Rig Ved, 1st Thirthankar of jains Rishibhnath aka Ikshavaku is mentioned. And even in jain texts it's mentioned that there are other "mats" (Hinduism). But all this is never told by NCERT, UPSC and State boards.
parmanu concept is also similar to vaisheshika school of hindu philosphy many things are common in our philosphy they are from same land so it obvious scholars had debated to reach conclusions.

4 kashay according to Jainism are Krodh (Anger), Maan (Ego), Maya (Deceit) and Lobh (Greed). I think Ma’am you mixed up Kaam from 5 Paap (Sins) which has Himsa (violence), Jhooth (Lie), Chori (Theft), Kusheel/Kaam (unchastity) and Parigrah (Possession)

@@werocks7103 that is a fair observation. Teachings in each religion are common but whether to follow the same or not depends on individuals. Beating a kid is definitely a form of himsa, however, how much bad karma it will attract also depends on intention. A soldier fighting on border is Himsa but it attracts less bad karma because their “Bhaav” (intention) is to save country and its people. On the other side people may be indulged in Himsa just for taste and still act as pet and animal lovers. It’s all about what we follow for self and move toward Moksha, step by step 🙏
She couldn't explain well, refer Devdutt Patnaik.Asteya, Anekantvad and Aparigraha are important in Jainism. We don't have the concept of God or parameshwar. We have lord /guru/tirthankaras, who show us the path of life n living and to attain moksha or liberate soul

When you remove Kashay from Aatma, attain detachment, alleviate your karma matter, that is when you become a sidh soul, who are our tithankars. One with infinite power, knowledge, and trinity (Samyak Darshan, Samyak Charity’s, Samyak gyan), no attachments, no vices. Eventually the siddhas reside in sidh Shala, free from the cycles of birth and death.

Her explanation is confusing. Jainsim is a religion based on meditation( hindu raj yog). It doesn't have rituals. It says that we must do austerities and also repent for past sins( known and unknown) to reduce/eliminate old karmas. This Austerities and repentance is a huge difference between hindus and jains. One Must not harm anything so we don't accumulate new karmas. This leads to a pure mind and this allows one to meditate without hinderance and get to enlightenment. Meditation also gives insight into old karmas and we can then repent for those. It is india's oldest religion since seals with meditative posture were found in indus valley civilization. Hindusim took the meditative aspects from jainism. Shivaism is quite similar. Shiva is considered another name of Rishabdev( oldest of 24 jain enlightened beings) but this cycle has repeated for ever. Very nice part is that austerities are done in a "controlled" manner that remove old karmas. Controlled manner means if we go hungry and walk when we choose to in this life then we won't be FORCED to live thru those in next life( example- be born as a beggar and can't afford a car so will go hungry and live a painful life). We don't eat roots because one is killing the plant. WE walk vs. take a car since we want to give ourselves DISCOMFORT. WE eat little and never look for comfort. AS to pulling hair AS INITATION into Jainism-- that essentially removes not committed people since only very committed would go thru that pain. It is India's true guru/shishya Sanatan dharma. All other clownish stuff is FAKE & made up by Jainism haters-- Brahmins didn't like it because they were eliminated from the WHOLE process. Remember only monks are considered TRUE Jains, all others are aspirants.

लो पूरा concept समझो इस बात का-- अहंकार कहता है कि 'आत्मा' का मतलब होता है 'मैं' और बार बार मैं, मैं कौन कहता है मैं (अहंकार) , इसका मतलब मैं कौन हूँ आत्मा। तो इस प्रकार अहंकार अपने आप को आत्मा माने सत्य माने असली समझता है, इसी कारण बुद्ध को कहना पड़ा 'अनात्मा'। उन्होंने कहा आत्मा जैसा कुछ नहीं होता। जब वो कह रहे हैं कि आत्मा जैसा कुछ नही होता तो वास्तव में वो कह रहे हैं कि अहंकार जैसा कुछ नही होता, क्योंकि जब अहंकार अपने आप को आत्मा माने बैठा है तो अहंकार को खारिज करने के लिए, नकारने के लिए साथ में आत्मा को भी नकारना पड़ा। बुद्ध ने आत्मा को नही अस्वीकार करा, उन्होंने आत्मा के उस सिद्धांत को अस्वीकार करा जिस पर अहं ने आधिपत्य कर लिया था। तो फिर जो जानकार ज्ञानी लोग थे उनके सामने समस्या आई, क्या करें? अहंकार ने तो आत्मा पर कर लिया कब्जा और छोड़ ही नही रहा। बार बार कहता है मैं ही तो हूँ, अगर आत्मा माने मैं, तो मेरा ही तो नाम मैं है तो मैं ही तो आत्मा हूँ। आत्मा माने जो सत्य है जो असली है। तो अहम ही अपने आप को असली मानता है। तो फिर ज्ञानियों ने एक समाधान निकाला। संधान ये था कि अहं जिस आत्मा को पकड़े बैठा है, उसको नाम दे देते हैं जीवात्मा। जीवात्मा क्या? अहं जिसको आत्मा समझता है, माने आत्मा के नकली सिद्धांत को कहते हैं जीवात्मा। और जो असली आत्मा है उसको कह दिया गया परमात्मा। तो परमात्मा कुछ नही है वो आत्मा ही है। बहुत भ्रांतियां फैली हुई हैं। ये तीन शब्द हैं जिनको ले करके बहुत कम लोगों में स्पष्टता है -आत्मा, जीवात्मा, परमात्मा। और स्पष्टत नही है जिसके कारण बहुत भ्रांतियां फैल गयी। कहीं कोई कहने लगा कि हम सब तो आत्माएं हैं और एक दिन हमें जाकर के परमात्मा से मिल जाना है। ये सब बेकार की बातें हैं। कहीं कोई कहने लग गया, कि मेरी आत्मा को चोट लग गयी, कोई कह रहा है भगवान मृतक की आत्मा को शांति दे, ये सब बातें आत्मा शब्द का अपमान हैं, दुरूपयोग है। आत्मा असीम है , अनंत है। आत्मा न कहीं को जाती है और न कहीं को आती है। न किसी शरीर में समाती है, न कहीं यात्रा करती है। जो अनंत है वो यात्रा कैसे करेगा। आत्मा जब अनंत है तो वो किसी में समायेगी कैसे।

Why does this world exist, had everything been predetermined? The notion that everything is predetermined, is based on an assumption that there's some superior dimension or entity which/who looks after everything/decides everything prior to its happening and also makes sure that everything happens as per they're supposed to. Who this entity is? Why does entity do so? It's quite superficial and has been rebutted by various philosophers like mahavira, buddha, ajita...etc Karma exists, you commit an action, there will be consequences of it. The consequences will happen to yourself as well as to the object of the action, as well as to other unrelated subjects to that object.

I'm a Jain, and a practicing one, Lord Ram is our idol because as per jainism, he attained Nirvana. (Same as Hinduism)
Jainism is part of Sanatan Sanskriti which doesn't means that it's part of Hinduism, it's not. It means Sanatan Sanskriti is made of Jainism, Hinduism, Bhudhism and Sikhism.
And If we talk about who is the oldest, Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism all 3 believes that they are the oldest.
It's just that we are not taught this in UPSC, State PSC, NCERT etc.
Even if we talk about the Historical evidence and historical manuscripts, Jainism & Hinduism both have many evidences that they both are at least 5000 years old (Sindhu Ghati Sabhatiya times).
Just read about what many of the indologists had said about history of jainsim.
It's as sanatan as Hinduism.
Even in Rig Ved, 1st Thirthankar of jains Rishibhnath aka Ikshavaku is mentioned.
And even in jain texts it's mentioned that there are other "mats" (Hinduism).
But all this is never told by NCERT, UPSC and State boards.

@@werocks7103 that is a fair observation. Teachings in each religion are common but whether to follow the same or not depends on individuals. Beating a kid is definitely a form of himsa, however, how much bad karma it will attract also depends on intention. A soldier fighting on border is Himsa but it attracts less bad karma because their “Bhaav” (intention) is to save country and its people. On the other side people may be indulged in Himsa just for taste and still act as pet and animal lovers. It’s all about what we follow for self and move toward Moksha, step by step 🙏

Her explanation is confusing. Jainsim is a religion based on meditation( hindu raj yog). It doesn't have rituals. It says that we must do austerities and also repent for past sins( known and unknown) to reduce/eliminate old karmas. This Austerities and repentance is a huge difference between hindus and jains. One Must not harm anything so we don't accumulate new karmas. This leads to a pure mind and this allows one to meditate without hinderance and get to enlightenment. Meditation also gives insight into old karmas and we can then repent for those. It is india's oldest religion since seals with meditative posture were found in indus valley civilization. Hindusim took the meditative aspects from jainism. Shivaism is quite similar. Shiva is considered another name of Rishabdev( oldest of 24 jain enlightened beings) but this cycle has repeated for ever. Very nice part is that austerities are done in a "controlled" manner that remove old karmas. Controlled manner means if we go hungry and walk when we choose to in this life then we won't be FORCED to live thru those in next life( example- be born as a beggar and can't afford a car so will go hungry and live a painful life). We don't eat roots because one is killing the plant. WE walk vs. take a car since we want to give ourselves DISCOMFORT. WE eat little and never look for comfort. AS to pulling hair AS INITATION into Jainism-- that essentially removes not committed people since only very committed would go thru that pain. It is India's true guru/shishya Sanatan dharma. All other clownish stuff is FAKE & made up by Jainism haters-- Brahmins didn't like it because they were eliminated from the WHOLE process. Remember only monks are considered TRUE Jains, all others are aspirants.

लो पूरा concept समझो इस बात का--
अहंकार कहता है कि 'आत्मा' का मतलब होता है 'मैं' और बार बार मैं, मैं कौन कहता है मैं (अहंकार) , इसका मतलब मैं कौन हूँ आत्मा। तो इस प्रकार अहंकार अपने आप को आत्मा माने सत्य माने असली समझता है, इसी कारण बुद्ध को कहना पड़ा 'अनात्मा'।
उन्होंने कहा आत्मा जैसा कुछ नहीं होता। जब वो कह रहे हैं कि आत्मा जैसा कुछ नही होता तो वास्तव में वो कह रहे हैं कि अहंकार जैसा कुछ नही होता, क्योंकि जब अहंकार अपने आप को आत्मा माने बैठा है तो अहंकार को खारिज करने के लिए, नकारने के लिए साथ में आत्मा को भी नकारना पड़ा।
बुद्ध ने आत्मा को नही अस्वीकार करा, उन्होंने आत्मा के उस सिद्धांत को अस्वीकार करा जिस पर अहं ने आधिपत्य कर लिया था।
तो फिर जो जानकार ज्ञानी लोग थे उनके सामने समस्या आई, क्या करें? अहंकार ने तो आत्मा पर कर लिया कब्जा और छोड़ ही नही रहा।
बार बार कहता है मैं ही तो हूँ, अगर आत्मा माने मैं, तो मेरा ही तो नाम मैं है तो मैं ही तो आत्मा हूँ। आत्मा माने जो सत्य है जो असली है। तो अहम ही अपने आप को असली मानता है।
तो फिर ज्ञानियों ने एक समाधान निकाला। संधान ये था कि अहं जिस आत्मा को पकड़े बैठा है, उसको नाम दे देते हैं जीवात्मा। जीवात्मा क्या?
अहं जिसको आत्मा समझता है, माने आत्मा के नकली सिद्धांत को कहते हैं जीवात्मा। और जो असली आत्मा है उसको कह दिया गया परमात्मा। तो परमात्मा कुछ नही है वो आत्मा ही है। बहुत भ्रांतियां फैली हुई हैं। ये तीन शब्द हैं जिनको ले करके बहुत कम लोगों में स्पष्टता है -आत्मा, जीवात्मा, परमात्मा।
और स्पष्टत नही है जिसके कारण बहुत भ्रांतियां फैल गयी। कहीं कोई कहने लगा कि हम सब तो आत्माएं हैं और एक दिन हमें जाकर के परमात्मा से मिल जाना है। ये सब बेकार की बातें हैं।
कहीं कोई कहने लग गया, कि मेरी आत्मा को चोट लग गयी, कोई कह रहा है भगवान मृतक की आत्मा को शांति दे, ये सब बातें आत्मा शब्द का अपमान हैं, दुरूपयोग है। आत्मा असीम है , अनंत है। आत्मा न कहीं को जाती है और न कहीं को आती है। न किसी शरीर में समाती है, न कहीं यात्रा करती है। जो अनंत है वो यात्रा कैसे करेगा। आत्मा जब अनंत है तो वो किसी में समायेगी कैसे।

@@siddharthabarman233 आत्मा कोई वस्तु थोड़े ही है, जो कोई उसे देख ले, आत्मा प्रकृति से परे है, वस्तुएँ तो प्रकृति में पायी जाती है। आँख केवल भौतिक चीजों को ही देख सकती हैं, आत्मा कोई भौतिक चीज थोड़े ही है। आत्मा के बारे में तुम्हें और अधिक जानने के लिए अष्टावक्र गीता और श्रीमदभगवद्गीता के पास आना होगा। आत्मा =सत्य=प्रकाश। प्रकाश को कोई नही देख सकता, लेकिन उसकी उपस्थिति में हम वस्तुओं को देखते हैं। ऐसे ही सत्य को नहीं देखा जाता बल्कि उसकी उपस्थिति में झूठ अर्थात् माया के दर्शन करे जाते हैं। अगर व्यवहारिक तौर पर कहें तो आत्मा हमारे मन की वह स्थिति है जहाँ हमारा मन बिल्कुल शांत अर्थात् अपनी पूर्णता को प्राप्त करता है। आत्मा कोई भूत थोड़े ही है! कोई अगर कहे कि "मैंने आत्मा के दर्शन कर लिए " ये व्यक्ति उतना ही मूर्ख है जितना कि "मैंने प्रकाश के दर्शन कर लिए" कहने वाला है। और कोई संशय हो तो बताना 😇

I don't believe in karma. Destiny is predetermined in each universe in multiverse of our infinite cosmic twin

A simple question : had everything been predetermined, than why did we have the choice of deciding or will to take decisions? Why does this world exist, had everything been predetermined?
The notion that everything is predetermined, is based on an assumption that there's some superior dimension or entity which/who looks after everything/decides everything prior to its happening and also makes sure that everything happens as per they're supposed to. Who this entity is? Why does entity do so? It's quite superficial and has been rebutted by various philosophers like mahavira, buddha, ajita...etc
Karma exists, you commit an action, there will be consequences of it. The consequences will happen to yourself as well as to the object of the action, as well as to other unrelated subjects to that object.
Karma makes this predestiny
