I remember when she did the Fall Guy and the other woman on the show was marketed as the sex symbol. I never understood this since Markie Post was much better looking and seemed all natural, unlike the other one.
Back in July 1986, I sent Markie Post a photo of her (as Terri from The Fall Guy) for her autograph. On December 22, 1987, not only did I receive her autograph, but I received a second autographed photo of her, as well. She informed me that we have the same birthday (Nov. 4). SHOCKER!!!!! Nevertheless, she is unbearingly cool. I still have her autographs to this das. Thanks for featuring her 😀👍
Scott McGraw Glad to hear that! I have a black and white photo of her (as Joella Cameron) and Gil Gerard (as Buck Rogers) from that episode 'The Plot To Kill A City.'
I most fondly remember Markie on night court. I didn't tune in till the 4th season and I was really taken by her beauty. I have got to break down and buy the series.
She's STILL absolutely beautiful after ALL these years. I thought her work on Night Court was overshadowed by John Laroquette BUT that was the fault of the writers. It's NOT a reflection on her acting.
Another cool vid, Dave. Markie Post is such a hottie. Loved her appearance on Buck Rogers (I think that was the episode where Twiki says, "What a body!" when he meets Markie Post's character") But I'll always remember her on The Fall Guy and Night Court. I'm just starting Season 9 of a Night Court marathon and I'd forgotten what a crazy show that was. Amidst all the zaniness, the sexy Markie Post always kept the show grounded. In the first couple of seasons, there was a revolving door of actresses at the defense attorney's role and Markie even appeared what seemed like a one-off appearance but she became permanent by season 3. Thanks for posting!
RIP to Markie Post who just passed (August 2021) and also Charles Robinson (July 2021). I am a hard core Night Court fan and I am so bummed they passed, especially before they could see the reboot.
Excellent Comedic Actor/Actress, Very Attractive AND Sharp as a Tack (as in Smart) !! Love her work. Nice to hear that she made time for a lovely Family.
One of the guest appearances she did that I really appreciated was playing Elliot's mother Lily on Scrubs. She had the perfect look and adopted the right attitude for that kind of role.
Although I never met Markie Post, she reminds me of another beautiful actress who I did meet and had a fabulous 30 minute conversation with: the late Suzanne Pleshette. Both of these outstanding women displayed remarkable humility, which for me, made them all the more attractive.
Markie and Night Court were my clients in those amazing early days! She was such a nice person to deal with, the show, tape nights were simply fun & entertaining. I did also interact with her husband. Thank you for jogging my memory!
Tom Szuchmanski Oh she had it all over Heather Thomas! My ex husband once said the reason she was so sexy was because she could put on a t-shirt and jeans and be the girl next door but put her in a bikini and ...... I tried for years to perfect that and couldn’t do it. To me that was the perfect compliment.
Saw Markie on The $25,000 Pyramid once where host Dick Clark asked her about growing up. She said she grew up in Los Alamos, N.M. where her parents were both physicists working at the top secret Los Alamos Lab! Sounded like the plot for an episode of Fall Guy! Lovedthe Video.
NIGHT COURT was and will always be THE BEST show she was in! Markie was inique as she was Sexy - Funny - Spontaneous! Great writing and directing. I would have watched it another 9 seasons if it had continued--- Great ensemble cast that never is boring in syndication--
Markie was a hottie and I so remember having a crush on her. She and another Buck Rogers alum Erin Gray, who was on Silver Spoons, was another one I had a mad crush on back in the day.
I remember her most from Night Court. I also really enjoyed her Electra Woman & Dyna Girl attempt and if it came out a few years later I think it would have been picked up. Glad to hear she's doing well.
Markie Post still looks great! Loved her in Buck Rogers and Night Court. I thought she had some kind of involvement in Elektra Woman and Dyna Girl, but it was an attempted remake. Ah well.
Very nicely done, Dave. She was so smokin' hot on that episode of 'Buck Rogers'. Loved her with the longer hair. Hey, and do me a favorite. If you tweet with her...please pass on my condolences to her, on my Red Sox kicking her Dodgers' butt this year. 😂😂
I have to say I remember Markie Post from Night Court. I loved how her character was so super positive and distinctive. The show knew how to use each character.
I had only learned of Harry Anderson's passing very recently which is the main reason why I'm watching Night Court from seasons 1 to 9. Just starting season 9 tonight. I hadn't heard he was sick or anything. He didn't seem like he was very old either. He seemed like a truly genuine person. I don't think his character of Harold T. Stone was too far removed from the person Harry Anderson was in real life. RIP, Harry.

Christine Sullivan (Markie on Night Court) was one of the greatest TV characters of all time. That show was nothing without Markie. Loved her in the prototype of Dyna Girl - too bad that never took. Was different but funny as can be. Markie left us too soon, and Heaven is enriched.
I loved Markie in "Night Court," but I was also a big fan of "Hearts Afire," she and John Ritter had excellent chemistry. My heart broke even more than it already had when news broke that John died, and Markie said on Entertainment Tonight that she saw a picture of him born/death dates on her TV screen and just started screaming "No!" I remember her in the Fall Guy with Lee Majors. That was my favorite show from the 80's. She was definitely a Fox very beautiful indeed. She was meant to be on that show.
Absolutely loved her on Night Court
I mostly watch the first season of Night Court just out of curiosity. The show really revved up once she joined the cast!
Definitely Night Court
It didn't become Night Court until she got there tbh. Seasons 3 and 4 were when Night Court was Night Court.
Watched it this morning, such a great comedy.
Always loved Markie Post on the Fall Guy. She and Harry Anderson both had guest appearances on Cheers.
Night Court is still one of my favorite TV programs and I loved Markie Post in it. Thanks for highlighting her.
If memory serves me correctly, the producers of Night Court wanted Post from the start, but couldn't get her because of The Fall Guy.
You are correct. I'm glad that she was able to join the cast. Night Court was always good but I loved it even more when she joined the cast.
Same!
Loved, loved her on Night Court! The chemistry between her and Harry Anderson was magical.
Back in the 80's I wrote to her, asking for an autographed photo. You betcha, I got one a few weeks later. It was awesome. Great lady!
