Leider konnte sie noch nicht nach Deutschland kommen. Ich habe ihr Handschuhe mit Innenpolster ( ich benutze sie beim Fahrradfahren )geschenkt. Es hilft ihr sehr. A very dear friend of mine lost her leg several years ago and prefers to use crutches. She had the same issue you mentioned about her hands getting tired and the back of the crutches hurting and bruising her arms in the elbow area. She has a prosthetic leg and does use it some of the time if she needs both hands to be free; but prefers crutches, To the point, she found a crutch product called Mobilegs and uses them exclusively. They are ergonomically designed and relieve stress on the hands with no hard spots to hurt your arms. Many people have asked her about them and have since purchased them. They are available in the US and surely can be found on line. You may wish to explore the possibility.

Why You want to hide yourself in public couse of Your one leg ? Thats stupid. All men are different. Nobody is equal the other. You are clever, nice and charmin and onelegged. Others are twoleggd but not clever, nice or charmin. You are a perfect supergirl ! Show You as You are and dont hide You. Your figure, Your leg, Your face, all is beautifull and You are a fine comrade . In German : You are symphatisch und ein "Mädchen mit dem man Pferde stehlen kann". Das allein zählt für einen richtigen Mann. My wife was also legamputated and was going by crutches. We two had a happy life, mutch sports and adventures. Never she had hide herself in public. Take Your head high and show Yourself, You are a nice person and all will love You. Take the World in Your arms, go free in the world, and never having complexes ! The world is waiting for You !!
