I can relate too you 100 percent, I'm a single dad, an we still do fun things before I was in a wheelchair, I just keep a opened mind an keep going..
And thank you for the amazing interview! Definitely inspiring and amazing! Truly!
So professional. I will watch this on own network.
I also encourage Bible reading. When I began reading it pulled me into the story and I lost track of time. I never was athletic but always in motion. My cure for everything was take a walk until I was attacked and unable. I refused to accept the "new normal".
Thank you for being such an inspiration Mia. :)
Totally Agree. . I'm a Tetraplegic too. Let's show the world SCI is not the end of living! 😉
Amazing Kirsty..........I am in wheelchair also..........its not an obstacle for me but I am not afraid of it. Thank you Kirsty x
she inspires me soooooo much
Melissa Jackowski thanks she is my cousin and she told me that these comments are soooooooo helpful
Having a positive attitude about things in general and turning a negative situation into a positive one, can really help you a lot when facing challenges in your life. Be it a chronic life changing illness or be it an injury.
I live with a chronic condition and I use a wheelchair. Both those things can make people only see darkness. I see a lot of awesome people I wouldn't have met had it not been for my condition, and the wheelchair means I won some freedom back :)
Thanks Jennie what a great attitude to have. We share stories of adversity and hope. I hope you will watch a few more and follow us online xx
Will watch more :) I do spend a lot of time just browsing videos on UA-cam, be it to learn things, get inspired, maybe help someone in a similar situation as mine or just have a laugh!
Mia is my NEW hero. :) as Rick Hansen has been my childhood hero. :)
I feel like she relates to me so much I'm fine knowing I may never walk again that thought at first was depressing but than I realized there's nothing I used to do that I can't (other than walk) I Faust maybe needed to do it differently but it is possible.
Brave woman!
Just want to say thanks for this show! I am currently "walking-challenged", and not sure how long ?I will be this way, but Mia's story really helped me today!
Thanks Randye Kaye my room mate is temporarily paralyzed due to menegitis at 27. It's been 4 months and she is now taking steps assisted. Slow process but miracles happen xx
GOD BLESS YOU 😇
