Wow! Thanks for sending me this way. Those 120s can seriously throw!! This might be the speakers I was looking for. Seems like they can handle many a small to medium sized parties. I dj alot and am always looking for new ways to tighten up my portable game. So dope! Too bad they're not on sale like they were anymore. I'll def keep those on my radar for when the do go on sale again
I have the JBL Partybox 100 and I was thinking of getting a 320 but I am leaning more towards just grabbing another 100 especially since they are around $250 now.
@@Usenowgamer I am sure they would but the difference is I already have a 100 and it sounds just as good or some would argue better than newer 100 series speakers. The difference between getting one 100 and a 320 is some $300 and two 100 will sound better than a single 320 as you can see here I would say two 120 sound better than a single 320. Now if I had money for two 320 it would be a whole different story.
Not sure why you would think using a mic wouldn't be loud enough on the 120. You can adjust up the mic volume if needed. Either one would be fine, just depends on how big of a room our outdoor area you are in, as the 320 is louder. Harman Audio Ebay has the Partybox Encore refurb for $169.99 and that comes with 2 wireless JBL mics.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews thanks, but that's not really true. I have a pair of 320s now. Once in tws (stereo) mode they automatically enter tws mode when turned on. As long as you DON'T press the auracast button. Just turn them on, wait for them to pair with each other (and your device) and they act as a stereo pair, even when connected to a PC with no app
My oldest daughter got married a couple years ago and we used a pair of Partybox 110's plugged in and they were loud enough in a fairly loud reception room with around 80-90 people. Nobody complained while dancing and having fun to turn it up more.
New subscriber here. I have 2 310 and sounds great. Does the auracast support mic transfer to another 320? because the 310 TWS work only for music not the mic. Thanks
Unfortunately the room is going to play a huge role in the bass response in this setup. That being said, the 320 sounds like it goes a bit deeper. The 120s are a bit too boomy for me but that could be the left one being right in the corner there.
Yeah, as with any speaker, the environment and the placement within that environment will have a certain degree of influence on the sound. The 320 is just a bit deeper in extension and one on one vs a 120 it is noticeably louder.
I'm waiting for my 1st 120 to show up in 2 days. Now im wanting a 2nd one. What does TWS stand for? I've downloaded the app but can't open it until i get the speaker. Thanks.
TWS is true wireless stereo. SO if you had two partybox 120's they could run wireless as left and right channel speakers, just like a home stereo system with say a receiver and two tower speakers.
I can't remember exactly which one I used for this video. I have like 7 or 8 of them. Check my Storefront link in the description and look under party lights.
I actually just added a link to a party light on sale for just $12.99 in the description. It's very similar to what I used in this video. Check it out.
Hi Jay, great speaker comparison video! The new Bose Soundlink Max boombox is now available! It probably sounds incredibly good. are you going to test that monster out, bro? 👍❤️
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I have herd 320 has more bass and 120 more treblish, so thinking these 2 together will make a perfect combo for movies, what do you think?
I enjoy these 2 against 1 comparisons. Many of us contemplate whether to buy 1 bigger or 2 smaller. I may not have understood you correctly. In the outdoor scenario, would you prefer 1 320 over 2 120's?
Point was that outdoors the 320 was quite a bit louder than the 120. If you spread the 120's apart by a good distance outside you will lose a lot of the extra output, but gain more coverage. Probably more so than indoors. Two 120's indoors was sounding really nice. 2 is better than one pretty much every time, but it boils down to what you want to spend. I just know in my basement these 110's are really sweet.
It's that wide sound stage you get from two speakers sitting 8 ft apart that I love. For that reason I would never replace my two Encores with a single 120. On the other hand, if it's only about sheer volume, I would step up to a single 320 over my two Encores.

The 120 definetly have an advantage from the corner position if there is a corner.
The left one is near a corner, but the right one is open to a short hallway that you can't see on the right behind it that you cannot see.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Ye that left one being in the corner would increase the bass a lot!
