Thank you. Onsite treatment is the best solution for small communities.

I'm so used to learning about bigger ww plants. I didnt know these smaller treatment systems existed. These are pretty cool.

I think it's operated by only 1 operator per shift

Cool systems! It would be great if we could eliminate harsh cleaners and toxic substances from our culture, so we don't end up having to deal with them on the backend.
Where does the sludge end up?

Very nice video. Thank you. Could you plz provide info regarding the total land area that you used for the treatment plant and the total water capacity of that plant

How much area does the leech field require? Would this system be suitable for a single family home in the country side or a farmhouse in a farm field? Could it accommodate a triplex as well? How long would the biomass be able to survive without waste input or other supplement such as dogfood? Could the system be powered by solar power or natural gas supplies and how much power would be required? Thanks for bringing this topic to the attention of the public!

What costs are we looking at here? Estimated or rounded up figures will do.

I wonder the air transfer efficiency using those rotating drums.. as far as I know, oxygen has a very low diffusion rate and its bulk introduction into the water almost does nothing for the aeration purpose.

With all that water and precious waste, why are they surrounded by a desert? The leach filed is as dry as a bone. Let's engineer better solutions. Let's use these resources.

    • @Rafungilo

You can get a system that compost waste. You need a biology and meteorology class because that’s not nearly enough water to create a desert oasis🤦‍♂️

    • @Reciprocity_Soils

@@Rafungilo. hi. Are you saying I couldn't nourish a garden or large greenhouse by diverting the grey water I use every day? That is Mike's idea, isn't it? You're saying "no." Could you offer a more feasible counter idea? I say plant 10 trees, care for them in general, and water them every other day or in a cycle throughout the week.Initially, greater care and compost/mulch would be required until they take root. Mini stand of trees with accompanying guild = microclimate = eventual oasis. Geoff Lawton and others have succeeded at this.

@@Reciprocity_Soils you shouldn’t build a structure over drip lines, the pressure on the ground would back up the water flow, and it makes repairs a project. Certainly there’s things I don’t know about so I’m sure if made modifications you could get away with it. My point was only that if you 100,000 gallons of clean water into the Sahara you won’t get a rainforest
