This video is mainly focused on Regression analysis, its types, and Nonlinear Regression in very detail along with a practical example.
Nonlinear Regression analysis is used to mathematically describe the nonlinear relationship between a response variable and one or more predictor variables. Specifically, use nonlinear regression instead of “ordinary least squares regression” when you cannot adequately model the relationship with linear parameters.
I am going to explain this tool with a practical example for easy understanding and better clarity. This video contains the following topics:

How to predict the relation between one dependent variable with 4 independent one using non-linear regression in excel?
It's not possible in the current versions of Excel. You need to use statistical softwares for it like SigmaXL and Minitab.
Instead of fitting any random equation, it would have been proper to use the known 7 variable equation that describes the behavior of the semiconductor.
Can Regression analysis be applied on any kind of data? or are there any specifications?
Depending on the type of data, we need to select regression type.
How to do a Multiple non linear Regression in excel?
Currently Excel has a limitation to perform Multiple Regression Analysis.
But you can use Excel Add-in software to perform it in Excel like SigmaXL.
Or other advanced statistical softwares, like Minitab.

Whats the use of doing so called data analysis ,if in the end your going to find equation from trendline?

@@learnandapply thank you for your reply. In my dataset, I found a positive correlation between A and B. I want to see how well A predicts B. Given nomality of data, I chose nonlinear regression. Is this a correct way? The only difference between linear and nonlinear one is to make the straight curve a curved, nonlinear curve??
