With Death Grips they don't just do Rap and Rock crossovers. They experiment with multiple genres and this particular song is more industrial inspired. and it's one of their most tame / accessible songs.
i love that the evolution of dg has been so well documented by their albums. this is the start money store is the closest they ever got to being commercial no love deep web was when they told commercialism to suck their dicks (the pic) then they got way more electronic and experimental/noisy/industrial/cyber punk and where i fell off lol
If you want a death grips song with change ups Simon, I’d recommend Inanimate Sensation or Hacker. Thanks for listening to the requests of the people 👊🏼
ABOUT DEATH GRIPS: They are a trio made up of a producer, dummer and vocalist. They are known for fusing basically every gengre with hip hop but mainly noise, rock and electronic not so much metal. They are known for being "shrouded in mystery" as they rarley do interviews and are not active on social media. There first mixtape the one that the song your reviewing is from spread around the internet like wildfire and gave the a heavy cult following. Their debut album "The money store" and considered by many to be their best garnered critical acclaim from almost everywhere. Over the next years they released many albums and some instrumental ep's all while still gaining new fans. Their most recent album "Year of the Snitch" was their first project to break the top 100 on billboard. The interesting thing about them is that despite releasing their first project almost a decade ago all their projects are still very relevant today and still garner new fans. ALSO LOOK UP THE LYRICS PLEASE BECAUSE THE LYRICIST PUTS ALOT OF TIME INTO THEM AND THEY ARE SUPER DISGUSTING AND WEIRD BUT YOU WONT BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THEM FROM THE SONGS.
Please react to Vince Staples soon! I’d recommend either Big Fish, Fire, Smile, or Norf Norf. This is some of his more popular music as well as some of my favourite stuff from him.

I dont think these are good recommendations at all for a new DG listener. I love Exmilitary, NLDW, and Money store but all these songs are even hard for me to listen to. They have better songs that they might enjoy more like I've seen footage or No Love
Bottomless pit, even Beware has some of the heaviest lyrics in their Discography, and maybe if they want something absolutely primal and wild Come Up and Get Me or No Love
For them maybe something off Bottomless pit with a more "metal" influence like Warping, Bubbles Buried in This Jungle, or if they're into the hip hop side of it, The Money Store album in its entirety. No Love and Black Dice would be good too. I personally would like their reaction to something like Black Quarterback or You Might Really Think He Loves You for Your Money but I Know What He Really Loves You for it's Your Brand New Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat. Keep it up boys.
NikScaresMe Wow I’ve never heard such a trash opinion. Can name 30 Kanye songs that are worse if not more. He has entire albums that are worse than that one song. The entirely of TLOP was trash except for that track. For example.
Ahhhhhhhhhh fuck yeaha decent channel is reacting to death grips!! So happy right now. I love you guys for that. They're so unique and most people just aren't really ready to try sometting new, or maybe its not their cup of tea.. I understand that too.. But at least you listened to it.. Thats amazing thank you
'Get Got' (their best song, imo), 'Hustle Bones,' 'The Cage' (I think you'd appreciate some of the lyrics), 'Lost Boys,' 'Warping' and 'No Love' (the latter two being among their heaviest songs) are also highly recommended.
Is this Simon 'Milbob' Miller from VideogamerTV??? How have I stumbled upon this and not know this channel is a thing? Also I love some of Death Grips' work, 'The Money Store' is my favourite album of theirs!

I think next you should listen to songs from exmilitary, the money store, and bottomless pit. I think you'd especially love Bubbles Buried in this Jungle or Three Bedrooms
The death grips song that feels metal to me is System Blower, or at least just incredibly heavy and intense, that said I want to see someone react to hacker if I could pick any of their stuff.
My hip hop preference is lyrical flow, wordplay, metaphors, and punchlines. Maybe I need to hear more tracks this is my first time hearing them, I always see people mention them.
Triforce Of Course Eh is a pretty good more accessible song, its just about how nothing impresses or excites him anymore and he always feels "eh". Idk its one of my favorites
React to anything off of Bottomless Pit to get a sense of the band's traditional mode; react to anything off of Year of the Snitch if you wanna hear this kinda band get experimental with more live instruments
that is such a fantastic album. I'm sure someone has mentioned it somewhere else but the drummer in that band used to be in a rock band called HELLA who were just ridiculous. There's some great footage out there somewhere with them on tour and he breaks his ankle while playing and just keeps going to finish off the show. Not sure if anyone else has recommended anything by THE BUG, but Kevin Martin (who is The Bug) used to play with Justin Broadrick (he was in Napalm Death for the first album SCUM and then was in the band GODFLESH) in a group Techno Animal before breaking out on his own as The Bug. He's got some amazing stuff he's done with some vocalists but I'd recommend checking out the track SKENG. Very heavy Jamaican dub and Ragga influence. I'd be curious to see what you think of that one.other ones: Beats Bombs Bass WeaponsFunction (featuring Manga)
Beyond Alive and Bottomless Pit both at good Death Grips tracks that have more heavy use of metal and rock elements, Beware is probably my favourite track by them though
I see exmilitary. I see it's not Guillotine.
I'm happy

It’s a fucking tune - but Takyon is my favourite on the mixtape and the best one to start with I think. Maybe Takyon, Beware and Guillotine are equal.

@clone120 Why would Anderson Paak appear
Fantano fans are the best
I mean there is Already a buff melon in this video already but he isn’t named Anthony Fantano
With Death Grips they don't just do Rap and Rock crossovers. They experiment with multiple genres and this particular song is more industrial inspired. and it's one of their most tame / accessible songs.
yes I was gonna say this isn't the typical death grips songs that i've tried where its only noise lol. at least you can hear the lyrics here
It's early Grips. I wouldn't say it's any more accessible than anything else off the first two albums or the EP.
i love that the evolution of dg has been so well documented by their albums.
this is the start
money store is the closest they ever got to being commercial

Death grips - "Giving bad people good ideas" sounds really metal, to me anyway
Great reaction by the way!
I'd say more punk than metal IMO but definitely something they'd appreciate
Luke Toomey either way it's much heavier than this lol

DO “BLACK PAINT” OR “SPIKES” by Death Grips, you’ll love them more than this song
Black Paint - Death Grips (off their new record) or On GP from The Powers That B are great places to look for more actually heavier (guitar/drum) from the band
or dillema
Sam Nixon A lot of their newer things actually have guitar.
Death Grips - Ring a Bell

Bottomless pit, even Beware has some of the heaviest lyrics in their Discography, and maybe if they want something absolutely primal and wild Come Up and Get Me or No Love
Black paint is absolute fire
I feel alone in never really liking GBPGI. Hot Head is a better song I think. It’s like a meth addiction in a song lol.
Klink too
you HAVE to listen to hacker. its honestly such a fuking banger
Listen to Black Paint by dg.
This and On GP would be great tracks to do next
Took your time but thank you! Hacker is probably their best song ever and Black Paint is a great new one with a lot of influence from other genres.
For them maybe something off Bottomless pit with a more "metal" influence like Warping, Bubbles Buried in This Jungle, or if they're into the hip hop side of it, The Money Store album in its entirety. Sidhant Rastogi
