- Riding my new 2025 KTM 350XCF on a long woods loop! I started with the stock suspension settings and was feeling too much of the trail (dry and choppy today). I went to my Comfort settings (Front C18 R24 Rear C20 R 20 HSC 2.5) and way better bumps absorption on little chop and roots. 350's are such a great combination of Power/Weight/Handling and this latest 350 engine in the updated 2025 KTM chassis with new WP spring forks does not disappoint! The 350 engine has strong low to mid power and still pulls forever on top and both of the stock EFI maps run clean and crisp. I installed a complete Akrapovic exhaust system on the bike and it is quieter, lighter, and has a spark arrester too. The updated WP spring forks are impressive! The rear of the bike has more comfort too with the updated frame along with linkage and shock changes. This could be the first Austrian bike I ride with the stock suspension. Looking forward to more rides soon in the woods and on the local moto tracks. Also plenty of back to back rides with my '21 KTM 350 Kailub Russell Edition and 24.5 KTM 450 Factory Edition.
I don’t understand how you don’t have more subscribers! You make great content. Great video and audio quality. Maybe remind people to like and subscribe at the beginning of your videos.
Woods ride 🚀 Dodging lightening ☠️
Good looking machine. I might have to pick one up
It is a fun bike! I like the more orange/black colors for 2025
I was thinking about selling my 23 xcf, but watching to your videos and feedback are priceless, I will purchase the connectivity unit off road and dial down my settings to comfort settings and you did mention the throttle response can be adjusted, Most people just ride the bike the way it comes from the factory. That is why you are called the MX engineer.
Glad you enjoy the channel - thanks for watching! While the CUO will cost a little does not cost anything to spin clickers and change fork air pressure! Dial your bike in! Let me know how everything works once you get the CUO and try some different suspension settings. Also you may need to take your bike to the dealer to get the latest updated EFI map (which runs better than the 23 map) and also allow the CUO to connect.
Another great video as always. You’ve ridden all the latest and greatest 2 strokes and 4 strokes. If you could only have one do it all bike, what would it be?
For 2-strokes it would be a 300 smoker and currently I am torn between the Austrian 300 TBI models and the 24 Beta 300 Race Edition. For 4-strokes 2025 KTM 350XCF would be my Do-it-All bike (or Husky FX350)
Lol, you picked two bikes, a 300 and a 350. Now, which would you pick between them for one do it all bike?
@@PezRacer 350 as I don't do much super tight woods riding and the 350 4-stroke works better on the moto track for me
The CUO works amazing on the new 350 motor! These are awesome bikes
Yes the latest 350 engine runs strong! My CUO kit has arrived at the dealer - plan to have it up and going soon!
Always love your videos and positive comments..great to see someone so into bikes..what do you do for a job.?
Glad you enjoy the channel! I am an engineer working in mobility products.
If I were to get 4t curious , this would be the bike.
350's are a great combination of Power/Weight/Handling!
Thats what I did on mine, Rekluse 4.0 and went to 14/48 gearing to make 3rd more usable on trails and 2nd a bit better for starts at the track. Stock was 14/47, tried a 49 on the back but felt it was too low gearing for trails out here, so split the difference probably could dial it in more by changing front sprocket, but its close and next purchases are COU and new seat from Seat concepts, not a fan of the FE seat myself.
I need to try the Rekluse 4.0! Does it completely stop any stalling issues? Any downsides?
@@mxengineer1 If its setup correctly all but eliminates stalling. On previous gen motor I would get flame outs still, but so far on new gen motor on my 450 and 350 I have not had that issue. I feel no downsides other than it can make for a lazy rider if you didn't grow up on 2 stroke without one. You can still use it like a regular clutch, or let it do its thing. I find the biggest benefit on tight up hill single tracks so you don't have to worry about feathering clutch and can run a gear taller in most places, brake slides into corners, things like that, that along with ALT rider clutch lever its very nice.
@@rjcook450 Sounds like a very good product! Suppose it better be for $1500!
@@mxengineer1 Yep, I like them had them on last 4 bikes. My 22FE I didn't have to pay for so that was nice, they used my bike as development for the new platform, so a week one but free clutch.
..... ever think of setting up a tripod so we can see you whiz by when you are doing the moto tracks?
I like to keep it simple...GoPro only!
@@mxengineer1 .....what, you dont want to keep running around changing and charging batteries and positioning tripods around and keeping track of your equipment then edit it all?......i dont blame you......simple is best
Wouldn't you say "minus 5 and minus 6" when you speak of removing comp and rebound vs plus?!🙂
Sorry might not have been clear. For my '25 350XCF stock fork clickers are C12 R18 and I go to C18 and R24 (+6 on both) while the stock rear shock is C15 R15 HSC 1.5 and I go C20 R20 HSC 2.5. That gives the bike a nice compliant feel over the little chop.
@@mxengineer1 12 MINUS 6=18...Following me?!
@@davidgrunklee8407 Funny math! I don't don't follow:)
