Yeah 😂 I just think taste is very subjective and I wouldn’t provide the best opinion. My taste buds aren’t the best and I always mix the protein with other things.
It’s good stuff. I pass gas pretty bad with other protein powders. I didn’t at all with the Kirkland brand. Also the taste is really good. Think rich creamy hot chocolate. Finally you just can’t beat the price. It was 45$ at my local costco so .64$ a serving.
@joeysmiff1746 ya ya..."You have to learn to love the pain." I have no problem with the "hurt so good," but taste does matter if you have the choice. I get what you're throwing down, though... respect
Hey Alejoabril, so I don’t have much experience with ON Gold Standard at least within the last 7 years 😂 but I can tell you how my body feels with the other two. Ascent is supposed to be cleaner if you look at the ingredient label but for me, I still have a harder time digesting it compared to the Kirkland signature protein 😳 but that’s just my body becoming slowly lactose intolerant so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Your body might feel different. Sorry I can’t be more helpful 😳 I would try both and see how you feel 🤷♂️
ON and kirkland have very similar ingredients. They're all isolate/concentrate blends. They all have your BCAs, but Ascent has an additional 2.6g of leucine. As far as price... kirkland all day long. ON I think tastes the best, followed by kirkland, Ascent I don't care for at all. All in all, I'm going to say Ascent is the best only because of the additional leucine, Stevia as the sweetener, and fewer and better ingredients. Because of kirklands' price... quite a bit less. I'd say it's the best bang for your buck.
i'm confused, so why will you use both? You talked up Transparent Labs but then said you'll still be taking Kirkland even though it makes you go to the washroom?
Hey feast good 😀 I just drink a ton of protein and I am trying to save some money 😂 my first choice would be Transparent labs for sure but the 2.00/serving hurts when I am drinking protein 2-3 a day 😳
@@the_silver_liningg Makes sense. Ya, that's a lot of protein shakes per day. So you primarily take Kirkland then? We're currently testing Kirkland and just trying to get a feel for it.
@the_silver_liningg hey if you do a lot of blending... have you tried Bulk Supplements? They have a 100% isolate, and the price was comparable to ON... last time I checked. I use it when I make smoothies or for pancakes and stuff. It's unflavored, so it works well for recipes.
Taste isn’t bad, I left that out because I tend to always mix it with other things! One thing I did forget to mention is that the Transparent labs is easier to mix in a blender bottle vs the Costco one 🤷♂️
Great review!
Tastes amazing to me. I guess I’ve never had stomach problems at all with protein so I love it
Lucky! I think I am slowly becoming lactose intolerant, which is causing the issues.
I picked up Kirkland Whey for $47.99 at costco 2 weeks ago. Price point and curiosity were why I purchased
Flavor and how’d it taste?
Tasted like ass
Lol the shirt, hat, jigsaw puzzle -- that's dedication
Costco life 😂
Kinda wild that he didn't do any kind of taste comparison lol.

Anybody in here asking about taste never drank Nitro-tech in the late 90s. Stop being a girl and just drink it. Taste doesnt matter

Nitro tech! The golden era of protein powders and pre workouts.
I believe Orgain is the manufacturer of Costco's private label protein.
Wow really? A vegan protein powder company is producing whey protein
@@allanpeter7700they produce whey as well.
Does this come with a scoop?
@@LiamTran-rd7xq hey Liam :) it does come with a scope 👍
What protein do you recommend Gold Standard, Kirkland or Ascent?

Super interesting and I didn't realize Whey can cause tummy upsets
Clarissa, hope all is going well! :)
I think I am slowly becoming lactose intolerant, which is causing the issues for me. RIP
@@the_silver_liningg same I am also slightly intolerant to Lactose and I've never liked Protein shakes and now I understand why!
i still havent found it at our store but i really want this

90% protein per weight, or 90% "more" protein per weight... Big difference in those two statements
👍
Problem since day 1 😂
How’s the taste on the Kirkland ?
Paco! 😂 taste isn’t bad, I mix it with other stuff so I typically not very selective with protein. Most things go well with Chocolate 😂👍
@@AGALIANO16 I'd say the taste is similar to ON... maybe more towards the milk chocolate taste rather than a darker chocolate.

Kirkland is $47.99 at my local Costco

Cat approved. Enough said.
No Sam’s Choice options?
We don’t speak that name around here! 😂
So the costco whey protein makes you shit yourself at night? Did you really say that. Thats some wild protein.
Hmm I wouldn’t say it makes me shit myself but does upset my stomach somewhat how milk does. 😂 not as bad as others though!
@@the_silver_liningg haha gotcha. are you lactose intolerant at all?
Even the cat wants some protein
If it's in a plastic bag or cardboard box it's game time! 😂
