This video has SUCH GREAT advice to any content creators out there! I totally agree with the fact that you should just hope that a video will go viral, but make it go viral through having a plan! Creating content is one thing, but learning to effectively market your content and mastering that will surely elevate your brand/business! Always making us proud, Chris! Keep up the great work from your fellow Torontonian!🇨🇦
I have been the CEO of an ad agency, now fine tuned to that of a Media Advisory organization. I have (279) credits and I can tell you why this commercial worked. It’s because of you. Your leadership and enthusiasm are overwhelming. I think You could sell me a phone book. Creativity is required. But enthusiasm is a function of the “IT” factor. It can’t be taught. You either have “IT” or you don’t. And...you do!
Ha! I love that YOU are THAT guy from that ad - I totally loved the vid, idea and implementation. I passed it around as a great example of pro production and good humour. Well played! V.O can add a LOT but can also sink a good ship! Pro voices are SUPER fun to pump up a project. "IN A WORLD...."
I learn more things from watching your videos than doing school homeworks. Anyways I wasn't really aware that I should market my videos, but I will do so from now on 😁 Thank you Chris
Wow, if the all great ideas starts at McDonalds I will consider to visit it more often 🤣 great planning and execution! A lot of work put into the preparation for launching but it was totally worth it! Congrats on this fantastic achievement! Toronto here as well! 🇨🇦
Hi Chris, I am curious did you ever see the Dodge Aries video on Adcritic? It was a similar format and went viral quickly in the early 2000's. Adcritic was similar to UA-cam back then. If you search for Cool Car Commercial: 1988 Dodge Aries K Car you will see it on UA-cam. The funny thing is the producer Tim is local to Toronto as well.
This is beast! Honestly I had been thinking bout starting a channel and watching all your videos, your reasoning and seeing how you do things definitely helped me take the leap...so thank you!
great video as always love the channel and here's a little story I thought you might enjoy. I was recently on a shoot for a local hip-hop artist to promote his newest single, we pulled up downtown of a little city (i was in the back of an suv with the hatch open) popped out and he threw 10k in prop money (during golden hour) which alerted the opp to post a warning for local businesses, people flocked the streets to pick some up
Excellent marketing tip. Sounds similar to techniques Ryan Holiday talks about in his book Trust Me In Lying. I'm not a regular follower but I've seen a few of your videos discussing business. I'm surprised you don't teach a masterclass about how to create and grow a video production business.
Super good advice! I’ve been in the process of reimagining and reworking my production company to be more like this but didn’t have the professional words or thoughts to move forward on it. This definitely helps 👍
WOW GREAT WORK! Not sure I caught all the puns, to be honest I was kind of watching and paying attention to other aspects of the video I did enjoy the humor "Six Speed Radio" the "??? Compartment" ( filled with gloves) the missing hub cap was ...dare I say it,... "Classic" , No joke that was increadible work, I could never afford 100k for this kind of promotion especially after that last year I had. I am unfortunately one of those dinosaurs who is lucky to invoice , gross, 6 figures annually (2020 exepted 😥) but I certainly see value in this kind of exposure and professional production.
Hi Chris- I hope you reply to this- for a camera that would be used for you tube videos as well as normal use what would be best the A7S II or the A7III - that’s my budget atm - would love the a1! Just confused what the main difference is when they are similar prices
I don't believe I ever heard the "two hours of marketing per hour of production" thing before. Can you do more videos with a deep dive of how to do this?
I'm currently trying to sell my Tesla Model 3 (To buy a different Tesla) and this is my brain while watching this video: This is a super cool idea I should do this are you crazy do you know how much work this would be but it would be super fun and I love pushing my creative limits again do you even know how much work this would be? thanks, Chris now I'm probably going to make a whole beyond extra video to sell my car
I mean best pun for sure is "The Altimate Experience" haha. What was your favourite joke?
Amazing content as always!
The anchor man reference
The glove box
I'm glad it comes with turn signals! So many new cars don't come with turn signals anymore
Spoiler alert... well played
I want all these voice actors to narrate my life... it’ll make everything so cinematic
Yesss - just narrate your day :) Then he got a PB & J sandwich...he takes a bite. He seems happy.
OK Sean..... let me know when your ready. 😉 👌
@@thechrishau 😂
Wow that really threw me off, I was ready for "This video is sponsored by Fiverr"
Yeah me too.
Haha same

Thanks homie! Appreciate your time and energy :)
I think ASMR Chris should’ve done the voiceover and all sound effects for the commercial 😂
This guy could put out a video of him washing the dishes and I would STILL like it before watching the entire thing. Great work Chris!
Loved how when you opened the glove compartment there were gloves in said and the voiceover was like "I don't know what it's called" 😂😂
Spoiler alert because the car has a spoiler😂
Nice one chris

@@thechrishau we seem to have a similar sense of humour then🤝🙂
Can't believe you are sharing your secret viral video formula... Thanks man... Bye the way... SICK COMMERCIAL!!!! Good job!!!! 👍

Yooo love the work you’ve been putting in! Well deserved and well done! Love hearing the stories behind some of your pieces! 💯✔️🔥

Bloody valuable insights here, Chris. Thank you! Oh, and greetings from Melbourne, Australia. :-)
Worthy of a SuperBowl Commercial😎
Your friend is actully underestimating. It would cost more. A viral ads photo (not video) can cost more than 100K.
Just realized how well your background is setup to keep focus.
Well thank you! It’s almost done!
Just so clever & funny, I don't think i've ever seen a sales pitch quite like this for a 2nd hand car ! - next level creativity, brilliant !😀👍👍👍👍

They also say for every dollar spent on production - 2 dollars on marketing.
