Nordstrom's carry quality products. It's a great place to shop. I find the things I purchased from Nordstrom's back in the 80's and it still looks like knew!!

Nordstrom shipping and returns are always free, whether or not you have a Nordstrom credit card. You can earn “notes” without having the Nordstrom card too. Love Wit & Wisdom jeans. Very helpful video!
PS I should have added that Nordy Club members who are not cardholders can shop the sale early depending on their annual spending status, but I don’t think as early as cardholders. I got my card 40 years ago and it definitely has great benefits. Thank you for another terrific video with so many wonderful suggestions - my wish list is growing! 😊
@@lisaadiff but you can't shop the sale early without the card! I don't understand why so many people are against the store card. If you pay it off every month, there's no extra cost.

Really appreciate the recommendations! You work hard, Serena--THANKS. You know, the "buy nice, or buy twice" saying is very applicable to Nordstrom. I've rarely been disappointed in my Nordstrom purchases. And there's comfort in the fact that Nordstrom is a return-friendly retailer. I buy something special now and again from Nordstrom. I've never regretted it!

I believe Nordstrom has free shipping and returns even if you are not a Nordstrom card holder.

I have to agree about the great quality of Nordstrom's house brands, at least with everything I've tried so far. My latest buy was a gorgeous pair of BP leather ankle boots that were reasonably priced even before they went on sale, and a great price when I picked them up. Def worth a look! Thank you, Serena!

I bought that first Wacoal (pinkish color, which is actually nude for that bra) recently and love it! It's so soft and comfortable. I'll definitely have to check the sale price on it. I might get another one.
I like to buy one good piece on sale. A new coat or new shoes and if that year I can’t afford it I buy a beauty item. I lived in Seattle in my 20’s and I loved their stores.

Regarding your real diamond earrings, to make mine less likely to lose, I had my jeweler put screw on posts on mine. Just an idea-insurance for those items are good too but replacement isn’t the same on sentimental and pricey items.

When you say the Nordstrom sale do you mean Nordstrom Rack also? We had one open at the summit! I love it but haven’t been there but a few times .
@@robinsnest4306 no, Nordstrom rack is kind of a Nordstrom outlet. It's not the same.
I love Nordstrom but not a fan of the sale. It's overhyped and items sell out very quickly - especially the beauty products. And the last thing I need is another credit card. Also you can't put things in your cart before you're eligible for the sale. You can add it to your wish list though. If you're patient, many of the items are restocked later and are often discounted again.

Thank you for the tip on getting a card. The number one reason I never buy from them is the cost on returns.

Nordstrom has free returns regardless of if you have a card or not. They have had free returns for years
