It has been over 20 years since I've stepped in snow. After living in Chicago for 15 years and 6 in Colorado, the beach in Florida seemed like a great idea. Not missing the cold though. Thanks for sharing the memories of Life in the snow.
Snow doesn’t carry much weight on your body unlike the rain. You can easily just shake it off and you’re good to go! You can hear the crunch when you walk on it and that to me is amusing! 😁❄️

I have lived in Canada all my life and most jobs I have had have been driving jobs. So now that I am retired I can't wait to get to the Philippines where there is no snow. I will not be missing snow at all. Here a white out is when the wind is blowing the snow so hard you can't see where you are driving. Need sunglasses for sure when the sun is shining off the snow so you don't go snow blind. I am disappointed Nelly had all that fresh snow and did not make a snow angel haha. Have fun and stay safe

So nice to play in the snow. The first time I saw snow was at the airport terminal in Zurich.
Here in Vancouver, Canada first snow falls it’s fine, but too many times it’s just a pain especially if it’s more than 10cm. After that it will freeze and turn icy. It is treacherous and slippery. ❄️❄️❄️

It’s beautiful look at the pine trees. They are all white my favorite trees during winter esp when the snow is falling is the willow tree. This morning we woke up on -25c then -26C and I checked the Philippine temperature they have 25C the difference is - and +. But at 1:45 pm it is -12 and in the Phils. 24C

Imagine me, a Filipina, when I saw my first ever snowfall in Niederösterreich. Multiply your excitement to the nth power - that's the magnitude of my excitement and happiness. I was alone outside, jumping, laughing, and trying to capture the moment with my camera - just pure joy 🥰🥰🥰 until someone came to me and said, "was machst du da? es schneit!!!"

I have lived in northern Italy for over 2 decades and it often snowed heavily. But it was picture postcard pretty. I have returned to the Philippines.But I kinda miss snow and Europe

Snow makes a landscape look so clean. I love it when it snows here in the Southeastern United States. I always warned my kids not to eat the "yellow" snow. LOL! Dogs love the snow too you know. :)
