I'm glad you mentioned rokon. Great company, great bike!

I own one. Have had a lot of reliability issues: Both tires flatted due to tube failure, total battery failure, motor control center failure. When it’s running it’s great, but probably best to live near a dealer who can help you troubleshoot issues.

Thanks for the video. I also have 2 Rokon Trailbreaker two wheel drive motorcycles which have been very useful on our ranch. I'm definitely watching for an electric two wheel drive version. Both of my Rokons have the rear towbars off the hubs that allow me to almost always tow a small two wheel utility cart for dirt, bags of cement, rocks and shovels. Any thoughts on this capability for the UBCO?
Another coincidence, I have a Japanese two sided saw that I really like.
Interesting that it didn't seem to be torque that effected your climbing, but the traction.
Looking forward to your updates. Dave

Did UBCO give you any info as to what the life cycle of the batteries is? I didn't see anything on the website.

I own one (special edition) i agree with what you say... it needs more torque for steep hills... they need a hill mode but overall its a great bike on and off the road .... i went looking for the vid for solar charging but cant find it, im super keen to see this vid whats the name of it.... cheers mate

I just sold my 1968 Rokon that was in museum condition. It was loud as hell because it did not come with a muffler from the factory. Only a Kettle flash arrestor. So as a 2-Cycle it was loud as hell. 120 Decibels. I drove it about a 1000 miles and never say a mammal. Only a few grouse UP here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. My neighbor has a UBCO 2x2 that I have recently ridden and it is a 1000 times better. And Silent !!! A modern Rokon is around $10,000 still made in New Hampshire BUT loaded with Chinese parts. Buy a UBCO instead like I am. TRUST ME.

add a manual inline switch on the head light .
then it won't turn on when you start it.

These UBCO bikes are a game changer. There USA distribution/office is just a few miles down the road from me. I’m in the moto world so I’ve ridden them and I see them being used as a pit bike as well.

These things are getting onto roads that are closed to gas engines during hunting season. Depends on the state. Probably don't need a motorcycle operator's class license.

$6500+ seems a bit expensive for a hunting ebike.

It is too expensive for a bike with two hub motors essentially. Hub motors never produce enough torque for hill climbs

I visited the UBCO website and they are charging $6,500 for this E-Bike! It's not really useful with only a 70 mile range when you are camping far away from any tone or city. That means that to use this E-Bike for camping in a remote area you need to purchase and have with you a solar powered generator, or a gas powered generator and extra fuel. This all amounts to a burdensome camping trip. No thanks I'll walk. - Peter age 74

At 74 years old I highly doubt you'll ride more than 15 miles off-road on a bike. I don't think range is the issue. 70 mi is a really great range.

Rokon an amazing machine but not stealthy enough for hunting or for reliable resupply for anything in the backwards. Honda better get their worthless fucking ass in gear and like fucking *TEN YEARS AGO* now these items are that good already let alone what is coming next😊😊

75 miles is awful for something without pedals. I do that on a regular bike. They should make a longer rear swingarm and have panniers extend behind your legs so you can fit two more batteries. But if you're doing that you might as well use gasoline.

What a terrible introduction , with the very loud music . Is it supposed to be dramatic or something. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
