    His set up is a little backwards, but I work construction and in the last year. I have had to use mine twice and I gotta say, on of the times the guy injured would have lost his life if not at least his hand. But today he is doing just fine.

    I've had mine about 1½ weeks and it is truly comfortable. I did get the NARS shorter shears (about 1" shorter) and that made some diff. Regular Levi's are too tight (505) but I got a pair of 517s, the boot cut and it is fine.

    I typically wear straight leg jeans or slacks, but if I were wearing cargo pants or boot cut jeans, then I think this would fit nicely. I particularly like how much stuff it carries. It just depends if you’re willing to carry the extra bulk.

    I'm going to start with;
    I am no expert by any means and before the trolls crawl from under their rocks, this is ONLY MY OPINION.
    I rely on a logical methodology when prepping a load out, weather it be EDC, Recreation, Mission critical, etc. The gear in this kit is top of the line - no doubt. The reason for carrying this kit is solid. Your review is on point as always. Where this kit is carried is debatable. When I plan an IFAK, I tend to formulate my plan on the worst possible scenarios. Worst case for me would be abdominal trauma that would prevent me from reaching my ankle in a solo scenario. I usually position an IFAK somewhere within easy reach of either hand. Usually waist level or higher. I also would position the kit where it is visible and easily accessible to any other member of my team if needed. This, in my humble opinion, is a novelty placement, "tacticool" but not realistically effective in any scenario where you would feel the need to carry such a serious kit.

      A common technique how to check someone for bleeding is running your gloved hands over parts of their body one by one and then looking at the gloves to check if there is blood smeared over them. That is really difficult to do with black gloves because dark red blood on black nitrile will be hard to see. On blue, white or tan, the blood smear will be super obvious.

    I was thinking about getting this kit next month. What, in your expertise, could one add to it and make it an option for just a regular Joe as myself? I don't have medical experience so it would be for emergencies where I could supply someone else in need. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

      if you are going to carry the supplies then i’d suggest getting trained with a stop the bleed course or similar to the like, no point having stuff on you if you don’t know how to use it

      @@dasgespenst979 You can take the online Stop the Bleed course and get the basic knowledge, then complete the training with the class room hands on practice. You'd be surprised about class locations. I live in farm country and the class I took was only 12 minutes away.
