  • Here's how I cut up my bench peg with tweezer slots and my preferred way to prepare them for use.

Self taught here, so I ALWAYS just did whatever I wanted. I actually have 2 bench pins.. 1 upside down, 1 right side up. 1 has a V, 1 does not. I built my own bench modeled after Chris' bench he showed us in a video way back. It has a very large semi circle with a leather catch or (skin as Chris says) so there is a lot of room for 2 pins. It's so nice to have many options! My flat one has the option to sit really high (above the table surface, or really low (close to the skin) I find that really useful too 😊

Hey there. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your experience with us here.
I only recently found your channel, and I'm happy i did.
It seems like every time I have a question, chances are you've made a video to answer it already. I watch other vids. of yours, that don't pertain to what I'm doing at the time too, just out of fascination.
I'm not a "perfectionist", but I'll admit that I'm a bit, "detail oriented" ...maybe, but I do get a kick out of seeing someone do things properly, no matter what it is...
Anyway, I wish you good luck with this and everything else, to you & your's.
