Babe omg I'm dealing with the same damn thing! I was driving my ATV around my property and I hear gun shots! Now prior to this it happened and killed one of my animals! The damn po po did nothing! So this is the 3rd day and while I was out checking on things I hear gun shots fired again. So then I get myself called the law.. have them come to my property tell them what happened on the phone to dispatch the sheriff's department finally came an hour later three of them I tell them what it happened before prior to this I needed to make a thorough report they told me they would go check it out and look to see what they were shooting at which make no sense to me whatsoever because it is my on private property I asked you why they had to excessed the damage due to my own property one of them educated cops told me they wanted to see if it was a safe place to shoot I got so mad after hearing one of them actually say that to me being the private property owner I've even went and had my property posted 3z courts so when law enforcement has to come to my home they will pull up my property number and it will come up you can file this at the courthouse so after making them aware of all the efforts that I have done to protect myself they say that they still have to Jose and assess it. So then I just tell them do what they want I will Booty by to get the police report the next day which is tomorrow. So depending on the police report will be what the next step is going to be. I have never heard in the state of North Carolina some of the absurd laws that actually some of law enforcement try to say is correct. Your personal property is your personal property. I don't care how safe of a place that law enforcement thinks that my property or anybody properties is safe it is my own private property which is properly posted on the property as well as posted through the courts. And that's that I also told them that two of my animals have been killed prior to this. And law enforcement was called two other times before this. To my knowledge they have not done anything by notifying me in any way about this matter. So Ryan I wish you good luck with this there is no reason for people to think that just because they can go and and walk on somebody's property it's okay especially when people post a no trespassing sign. It doesn't matter what law enforcement or anybody else thanks but it's okay to be on someone's private property for whatever kind of reason that it is.
