This is my humble tribute, my way to say thank you to all the team of artists that brought again Thra to life.

Well, when I was kid, I watched the movie of dozens of times.
And then when the series came out, I had a fangirling episode when I heard about it. My brother looked at me like I was crazy and like he was scared cause he knew that it would lead to me watching it whether he wanted to watch the series or not. And when I finished the first season, I was hardcore fangirling. My happiness was through the roof.
@@Book_Thoughts similarly it was like my childhood movie too (and other henson works like Labyrinth) but everybody seemed not to know it or have forgotten about it, when netflix premiered a series after a "cult" movie I was like huh seeeee? Aw you are welcome, I wish I had been able to gather some friends around the fire, so I tried to do my own take on it. There is also a cover of the Age of Resistance main theme and two additional covers from the original movie which I was originally super fan of (since it was released back in the day) Yes I think the ceremonial moment is one of my series favourites too.

It was my favourite movie as a child and I've been so thrilled these Summer that I made these series of tributes as a shout out to this fantasy world that was a great influence in my own original work too. Daniel Pemberton did a great job. I confess I'm a hardcore fan of the original soundtrack and those brief moments that it recalled the old tunes made me emotional, but after watching the series I was already humming this and the main theme and I'm sure it will be as memorable for others discovering Dark Crystal right now... I think the score releases in November, gonna get me a copy. This was just a tribute as shout out to my friends and followers to discover "the world of the dark Crystal" and some of them have watched the series and movie after asking me what is this about :)

Aw thanks so much, it was for me biggest highlight of it. Though for me my favourite will be always teh movie I was so grateful to return to Thra again and the characters and landscapes I love. I just knew the series has been cancelled, so this feels now a bit of a farewell song to me, but as the seed flies in the way, may it plant and grow somewhere else into a strong tree, so we can all visit Thra once more.

It is a song from The Dark Crystal, so it's supposed to be Gelfling language, but overall it's a song of farewell until we meet again of those departed, they let a seed fly so it can regrow again somewhere

Well the movie is still there, and the series is still there... so Age of Resistance will stay in the series we had and the movie that was made, but yes sad to see we won't have a continuation anytime soon. I'm sure though somehow we'll return to Thra one day
