this hits me harder. i thought giving all my time to studying is the best thing to do, but now the fuck, I lost my concentration and I feel mentally blocked. i'm afraid that all the things I've done in studying it all would be all thrown wasted when the exam comes.
Hey Mike, can you do a video on being consistent when studying. I dont know if it's just me but I study continously for about 3 hrs and feel like I have to take a break. But that break becomes longer than intended. 🙁. It would be really helpful if you could give some tips.
When focusing for a long period of time it brain 🧠 gasp for oxygen!!!! In simple term focusing on one thing by using ur brain exhaust the brain input!!! So imagine it as by my rule of gasping for air or break in simple term. This is why Instead of 3hr or 1hrs I reduce it to 25min intense study and then 5 min rest where I flex my muscle or do meditation 🧘♂️ #breathing thang where I provide oxygen to my brain who is gasping for air which leads to less input! So with this technique I get more focus and more input instead of just forceful learning or cramping my head like its a dustbin!!!! And after 2-3 hrs of this small process I take 30 min or1 hr rest by walking or doing exercise or by having some quality time with frns or family or doing what u love to do... hence I make my head free of excess garbage knowledge with quality knowledge. Hope this is helpful thank you
Hi! I just thought pomodoro technique might also help u with that, 25 mins work, 5 mins break. 30 mins break after 4 sets of 25 mins work. Just set a timer so u can be on time and u get to rest after each sets. It helped me to prevent taking long breaks and never getting back to the 'momentum' when I used to study in continuous hours before :))
Here’s my strategy 1. Read 2 times in your story 2. After you got how many wrong you gonna write your mistakes and study them 3. You can under lined the answer and read again make sure is correct
That's what I remember that I just studied this afternoon. Neurons or nerve cells: building blocks that comprise our nervous systems All neurons have three basic parts: some, dendrites, and the axon The some is basically the neuron's life support; it contains all the cell action like the nucleus, DNA, mitochondria, Ribosomes, and such Dendrites: as bushy branch-like that the trees named after, receives messages and gossip from other cells. They're the listeners, whispering what they hear back to the soma. The axon: is the talker, it transmits electrical impulse to the cell to another. Unlike the dendrites, the axon fiber are long. Thyroid: it influences metabolism Alzheimer's: a neurological deterioration that occurs in middle or old age, by generalized degeneration of the brain. Schizophrenia: a long-term psychiatric disease type involving a breakdown in the relations between thought, emotion, and behavior. Endocrine system: the 'slow' communication system of the body; a set of glands that secretes hormones Pituitary Gland : secretes many hormones, some of different glands, it's the most influential in the endocrine system. I remember more things but I'm too lazy to write them here. Please if you study psychology leave your corrections in the comments
Well I do quite good in my studies and I don't even study at home, I pay attention in class processing everything the teacher says into my head, organizing it in my head and eventually i can answer a question based on the topic not even going thru the notes, that way I don't even feel the need to study at home, however, I always study for about 1he to 1:30 mins before going for mocks and small tests, or just skim through very fast .

I'm in my second year of middle school, and ever since my late days in elementary, I was overthinking way too much. And it got worse, you see, many of my friends are like dust now, I cannot see them and know how they are feeling, I cannot know if they are telling the truth on how they are, and that is one of the reasons my overthinking got worse. In addition, here in my country, the COVID19 virus is still haunting us, ending others' lives for some reason. I ended up overthinking a lot and I need to fix this negative habit of mine as it made me lose focus, may it be in academics, or family business, I lost focus which ended up with myself almost not making it to the second year of middle school. So I have a request, can you make a video about ending this habit of mine.

How do you motivate yourself to remain positive for your upcoming exams?
Easy!❤
You motivate urself to study saying like:
"If i get a good grade, my parents will be proud of me"
Or do the same thing but more toxic:
"If I don't study now I will become a failure"
"I will hate myself if I get a bad grade
I recommend you to use the toxic way bc it gives that adrenaline and makes you not wanna give up
