I made this video after seeing a few others that showed the commercial, but none of them had a side by side comparison. I edited the perfume commercial to look like Dreamix and then spliced it to go together with Dreamix. I think it's pretty obvious where the animators got their inspiration for this transformation sequence after making this video.

Before I clicked on this video, I genuinely thought this was just a coincedence but they actually copied FRAME BY FRAME!! That's crazy! I wonder who saw the commercial and decided that was the next transformation 😂

Dreamix overall had better outfits and wings while onyrix had better transformation sequence and song even tho the onyrix wings and outfits were beautiful the ones in Dreamix were just more appealing 😁

And it's not "unique" to have different hair, wings and different colors those should be the normal standards
@@idontsm0ke It’s a transformation. They are supposed to look similar because it’s how the transformation is supposed to look like. Only one that works differently is Magic Winx and Enchantix. If the transformations were not similar then the girls will not belong to the same fairy form. For instance, if you think of long dresses, you can think of Harmonix. Or, warrior designs could remind you of Bloomix. These transformations need to look similar to give the audience the idea of the form.
@@Astrjd No?? Enchantix had every girls look unique with unique color choices and unique fairy dusts etc. But they still looked like they were in the same form while other transformations are straight up lazy designs, for example sirenix or butterflix
You can still make it unique to each one while still looking like the same transformation
They were inspired by the way the commercial was and decided to use that, obviously they had rights to use it
So this is where the idea for Dreamix originated from.

it isn't even that bad, they only got ideas from a few of the flower scenes. it was inspiration not thievery lmao, they just imitated the movements and the flower but other than that it's not completely copied, chill lmfao.

I’ve seen this perfume commercial first before this and when I saw this transformation I thought that was the reference of the commercial and all these people who says that Rainbow are thieves.

I think it's an intentional reference, since the whole style is supposed to give off a "celebrity", "star", "road to your dreams" kind of vibe

They're not copying, they're referencing. World of Winx shows the Winx as celebrities, and their transformations match. Dreamix is like this perfume commercial, and Onyrix is like catwalking. With fairy wings.

It definitely looks pretty bad at times but in my opinion it got MUCH smoother in season 2.

World of Winx is clearly aimed towards a mature audience, so the girls are not going to dance and spin around like butterflix or cosmix
@@Astrjdtrue their very biased tbh world of winx is a excellent series definitely better then original winx season 5-8 as it has a good plot story line and music but 1-4 of original winx is great but overall both are good.

It's really not the first time Rainbow has copied or referenced something from things like music videos:
