I wish i could 'like' this again! I would click that thumbs up a million times. This is such a great video. It's dense with information and wisdom bombs! This is clearly some of the most valuable info there is, period (do I need to add a '.' if I wrote the word 'period' for effect?)
Life on Earth would become a completely different experience if we all let this sink in. I hope more humans develop the ears to hear this message.

You are really qualified to write a book about the 3 P’s. I sure hope you do. Thanks for talking about them so coherently.

Wow one of the best explanations of the 3Ps I've ever seen, far easier than some of the more well know practitioners. Thank you.

7:46 Thoughts cycle thought - feelings - actions - results. - think feel do

It’s not about thoughts it’s about the quality of those thoughts

Hey Chris this is Steve. I am so glad you took the time to watch the video. I am very interested in knowing what you thought was most helpful and what you think would be helpful to go deeper into. As a husband, dad, therapist, cancer survivor, fisherman, and not so magic magician, it is my desire to bring SIMPLE back to what has been a very complicated journey in my life. Again feel free to ask questions or make comments I will check back again.

Hi, do you find it easier being in the pit/low mood/thinking when you have this understanding? I am a new subscriber, just found your channel yesterday. I have known about the 3Ps for a few years, even completed two online programs, but I have been in a cycle where I try understand it and then give up and go back to trying to fix myself with techniques. I think I had an expectation of not staying in the pit so I'm so glad you admitted to still being there often.

Hi Steven, thank you for sharing your wisdom on these videos. I'm really glad I came across your work and am getting alot from them.
Going slightly away from the Principles.. I was hoping you could share your views from your therapeutic experience on inner child and parts work. Are these more interventions that we'd try to use when we're in the pit so to speak?

    • @b.miller2799

the 3ps sees inner child work as simply viewing upsetting thoughts/feelings as the inner child's antics and letting them be, ignoring the debris created. hope that helps

Thanks a bunch Peter for checking out the video. I would love to hear how you related to the model. Everyone seems to get something out of it that makes sense from their unique perspective. I am always learning from our viewers. Happy New Year to you.

@@embracedlife it made me think of the SNL sketch where the tour operator in the advert adds as a disclaimer that if you're a miserable sod in Brooklyn, you'll likely still be a miserable sod in Naples :D
The more we let go of, or at least dis-identify from, our thoughts, the clearer the lens through which we perceive life becomes, leading to less brain BS and more quiet. As we evolve we perceive all is life differently and all of life seems to get better...if I'm understanding it correctly.

Peter I’m going nuts with over thinking! I have not been able to find the SNL sketch. Send me a link if you wouldn’t mind.

      @@embracedlife :D I think it's here twitter.com/i/status/1125105408299995139
I had trouble finding it because it's not available on UA-cam in Thailand, where I am on holiday.
I googled "snl perillo tours" and found it on a Twitter message.
      Enjoy!

Peter that SNL skit was a great example of “you take your thinking with you where ever you go”! Thanks for sharing my staff was busting up laughing. Love Adam Sandler.

If you cannot change your thoughts then what do you do when you overthink constantly?

    • @VaughanMcCue
      @VaughanMcCue Рік тому

Did you think you can't change what you think?
Could you hold that thought for another year? Let me *think* about it and get back to you.
Please remember now to hold on; I don't think it's a good idea to be happy by forgetting that thought.
