Cool video! Would like to hear your thoughts on the less expensive Acuña rookies. I like the 81 looking Archives and Optic silver. They have some serious shine.
Do you guys have any Harpers or Freemans?
We will do another video with some red expensive options but I also love the update topps gold. PSA 10’s are under $900.
I also like that ‘81 Archives card. Great design.
The Heritage Action variation has a great shot of his follow-through and the Kroger has come way down the last year or so.
Even less expensive, I like the Bowman Chrome refractor rookie #/499 and the Bowman’s Best Atomic Refractor.

Another great video, guys!! Love them all! The sapphire might be my favorite. I think i've heard that something is up with the pop count on the bat down with Psa. I dont think its accurate... might be worth doing some digging on that but i think the pop count is actually much lower than they have on the site. Gives us something to think about.
That’s interesting. I haven’t heard that and it seems there are always at least a dozen or so for sale on eBay.
There’s definitely fewer Var Downs than there are Guerrero NNO!

@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin I always liked the 2018 Transcendent Acuna Base /83. Or the 2018 Bowman Chrome Mega Box variation.
My favs are the sapphire (like peanut butter and jelly..sapphire+batdown) and the white vertical!
I think our top 5 works in any order. But man that sapphire is just a 🔥🔥🔥 card. I wonder if we’d love it as much if there were regular Topps Chrome parallels with that

Vertical preference is definitely because of grading imo. And I get it too, it does tickle the OCD slightly to see the two different orientations

Slabs that some grading companies have produced, and I do NOT care for them. At all!

No "Bat Down" card??
Love the Bat Down card, but the pop count is just getting too high to consider it as a long-term play (for us, anyway). The price has come down substantially from the peak though, and eventually it might be priced right to buy -- the question is at what price point is that? Hard to say. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbinit’s probably my favorite. That or the sapphire. One of them is 1a and the other is 1b, in my opinion. Speaking mainly in terms of appearance/design.

My only concern with the sapphire is the PSA pop - over 100 PSA 10’s. So it’s not especially rare. Always available. I actually sold my copy in 2023.
