@Joshua Hanley - Sorry I was not very clear. It was more on an emotional level. Lady worked her whole life and fell from grace and lost everything. They did not really rob her. More they recognized what she lost (not their falt) and felt bad for her.
Eric is an absolute angel! Him crying @ the end of the Hoarders episode just about broke my heart! Such a sweetheart. They both were so kind and compassionate 💕💗💕
My mom and I saw that episode of Hoarders that profiled Sandra's case. That woman was so hopeless. She was terrible, and ended up screwing herself over by resisting the help that was offered to her. It was obvious that she had serious issues. Again, she was a hopeless case. Piece of work she was.
These two gentlemen are just that, VERY GENTLE MEN! They went above and beyond to help Sandra, who regretfully was not appreciative or grateful on any scale at all. Hoarding is a mental illness, but I suppose rudeness and ungratefulness is as well. Michael and Eric, you both should be applauded and recognized for the generosity that you shown in the last few years of your time with her.
It’s a wonderful old house, glad to see it being restored. Congratulations to Michael and Eric, hope they and their girls live happily ever after in, “Hillside”. 👌🏻🌟
A dream I hope manifests to its fullest for Eric, Michael and their children. They showed vast generosity of spirit, support and patience with the previous owner.
I have fallen in love with this couple. I wonder if they realize how brilliant their aura is together as they stand there sharing with the world their feelings about this magnificent house! The universe chose Michael and Eric to breathe life back into this mansion. I’m adding a visit there with my 88year old mother, to my bucket list.
Bravo to you both for saving this awesome piece of architecture enjoy alll the joy and satisfaction that will flood into your lives for doing so!. My partner and I took on the huge undertaking of saving, restoring and sharing the historic Stetson Mansion in central Florida and it remains one of the best things that we ever did. Not saying it was easy but definitely beyond fufullling and we consider it an absolute honor for having had the privilege to do so. Wishing you both a journey filled with bliss and cherished memories. See you at the Mansion!!
I love their heart and kind spirits so much. I wish they would write a blog or start an IG feed documenting their progress on the home. It such a beautiful property I can’t wait to see the end product.
I watched the video of your ordeal with the previous owner, it was sad to watch what she had to go through, but I'm excited to see what you will be doing with it now. Good luck!!
I'm overjoyed to see what you have done for posterity. You have preserved a wonderful artistic accomplishment, and preserved the legacy of the fine craftspersons who made this gem of a house!
These guys were extraordinarily compassionate and understanding with the former homeowner, giving her miles of leeway following her fall into debt and subsequent foreclosure, causing her to literally lose almost everything she'd spent the better part of the last half a century accumulating. Unfortunately, Sandra was a victim of some rather serious mental health issues, including obsessive compulsion and hoarding, not to mention the post traumatic stress and depression she suffered after a couple of particularly unfortunate incidents concerning her once proud and successful business Empire she had managed to build, almost entirely by virtue of her own hard work. But, instead of forcing Sandra out, they put their own lives on hold just long enough to allow for her, with a little help, to get some of her more valuable items put up for auction and figure out her next moves, where most people would apathetically kick a former resident out in the cold in order to begin fulfilling their own aims. The patience and understanding they demonstrated, even during their brief appearance on the reality show "Hoarders," was enough to show anyone paying attention what kind of human beings they truly are. And, I hope they have an amazing life there together, and with their girls, some people just deserve every good thing that happens in their life. 👍😇
I wanna see how beautiful they made the house! The show didn't get to cover that. (Which i fully understand. Sandra's illness is pretty high case). But I love seeing old house restoring projects. ❤
Glad there keeping alot of org. Parts of the home not tearing it all out. Too make it retro modern. Space age .they kept it real. I would love too take a tour. They be done so much.
Im Watching This Mansion On Hoarders Now!! Great Guys That Wanted To Start The New Chapter The RIGHT Way!! Most Would've Kicked The Lady Out & Trashed All Of Her Belongings. Best Of Luck On The Mansion Resurrection!!
That was quite an episode. Sandra was close to impossible to reason with. It was terrible the way she treated Dr. Zasio, Matt Paxton, Michael, Eric, and the cleaning crew. I praise Michael and Eric for having the patience and compassion for dealing with her. Had it been different people who became the new owners, they would have lost patience with her almost immediately. She was a piece of work and had serious issues.
I want to have it explained everything to that girls when they get ground about their relationship in their marriage yeah all the writing's on the wall what can you say London this is that they're no different than the damn hoarder.
I don't get the glamour of it or the beauty I just think is there selfish on their part that they would do this and open their home and charge people to see their house it's not a castle it's not a bed and breakfast I can just go on with the list but I think it's very cheap call on both their parts but good luck to you.
These new owners are as bad as she is..standing around afraid to say anything..shes out there in some fantasy land and the new owners are following her..at first the DR wants to treat her so gently then turns and tells the owners to put their foot down..Make up your mind DR..kick her butt out to the curb and stop with the babying already...The lady stands there and tells you she is going to drag your asses back to court and you still bow down to her ? thats sickening..grow some balls dude
These two men are Saints. They had so much patience dealing with Sandra. I wish them all the luck in the world.
It's restored completely now. Seebthe progress on "The old house life" page on facebook
They robbed that women. They knew it and that is why they felt bed.

@Kaththee1 - Hey Karen, did you read my second comment? 🤦♂️
Eric & Michael went above and beyond to help the previous owner. I wish then much luck and happiness

I’m pretty sure the redhead is on the current season of 90 Day Fiancé but going by the name “Kenny.”
I want to have it explained everything to that girls when they get ground about their relationship in their marriage yeah all the writing's on the wall what can you say London this is that they're no different than the damn hoarder.
