I went through a psychosis and in some way still feel like I am…it’s been 2-3 years or so. I too thought I was Jesus which I found very interesting that this was a similar experience in the video. I’m on plenty of medication now but I guess it’s been difficult for me to let go of the experience. I wrote about it constantly and made a bunch of songs at the time and I frequently listen to them to remember what I was going through and what it felt like. Some things I just can’t let go and sort of have to accept that my life won’t exactly be the same as it was, relationships with other people and so on. But with all that being said I think im grateful for the experience and my continued experience of life as a human being. Even when I’m frightened and feel doomed. This is the first video I’ve ever watched of someone explaining their experience so I’m going to watch some more now.
This is for everyone going through psychosis: Stay strong, you will be all right! You’re not alone. Contact someone to help you through this. I had drug induced psychosis from weed and DMT and i felt like i’ll never feel ok and my life is lost but it’s not. I am completely fine and happy right now after 2 months of recovery without medication. I am back to my normal life like nothing has happened. So have hope and patience and everything will be okay♥️♥️
I also suffer from drug induced psychosis after I smoked weed a few times. It’s been almost 5 years and I’m still dealing with psychosis. If I stop my medication the voices and delusions become 10x worst. But one day I’d love to be off medication.
Thank you for sharing, I am currently part of a PHP and hoping to get diagnosed soon but I really feel that I’m experiencing Psychosis. I believe this was all triggered by a weed edible I accidentally ate about a month ago. Hoping to feel better soon and this comment gave me alot of hope
@@gheaven79 You will get through this. I will have have this for the rest of my life since no medications helped with my psychosis. But that’s okay. I use grounding techniques whenever I forget where I am or who I am. One technique for me that’s always worked, has been tapping my feet on the floor, while telling myself calmly in my head that I’m okay, this is real, your eating dinner with your family. The trick is to try and stay calm. The biggest mistake I make when an episode happens is panicking, and focusing too hard on my heart beat.
I have cannabis induced psychosis now gradually reducing my medication till finally I stop taking them. I've been on medication for the last 6 years and full of hope I'll get to stop them and live a normal life Update: Now I've been almost 2 months off respridon and I feel normal. Kind of energetic, optimistic and positively driven. Almost all side effects of the medicine are gradually disappearing Had couple of bad dreams but overall, all good inshallah for good
This video was so beautifully made. Thank you for giving your delusions as an example. I thought I was Jesus too and it made me feel less alone to hear that I'm not the only one. Great video!

Similar to my experience! Not 💯 but close enough, it's been 12 years since I was diagnosed with psychosis, I'm finally off the antipsychotic, for 7 months now... I found your video so inspiring and oblivious to my first episode, I've written a book about my experience with psychosis, to remind me to stay off narcotics. However I'm all hopeful that I'm not gonna face remission in the future. Prayers 💎💖💎

My son says he wants to save the world and that he's God
very pretty but ultimately it feels like propaganda and more misunderstanding
