It's neat that even when talking about gameplay Kreia sounds like she's expounding on some deep philosophical message. Hell, when she talked about skills and the concept of having at least some in all of them, they (writers) really did mix a philosophical message with gameplay instruction xD.
To the point where I made a video talking about that discussion on skills, and that video was almost 40 minutes long.
It also helps that Kreia's VA was trained in classic theatre, which allows her to deliver with the gravitas needed for such discussions.
Everybody gangsta, until Papito overlays imagery over Kreia talking
Excellent choice of clips, also great seeing the OG Clone Wars
Ooh you decided to add music. This is actual a great blend of imagery and music
Yeah, I was convinced. Like I said on stream, I'd try it. It worked.
I like the theme from Dantooine Jedi academy. Smart!
Perfect choice of the music. Dantooine Enclave brings some peace and harmony here

@@PapitoQinn Thanks a lot!
1:25 Form 6 - niman
OP made a mistake on timestamping
I just want some form that lets me play without it being a goddamn project.
Kreia: Ah, say no more.
You have learned: shii-cho
Seeing Clone Wars 2003 got me giddy as a school boy!
I just want to hear Kriea talk.
That's what the Kreia playlist is for, my good man. Enjoy.
I do enjoy Kreias Teachings as Jedi student myself, she was once a Jedi master before she was exiled from the order but her teachings are used in future on Holocrons.
Same and it’s DARTH treya she’s a sith lady
There are 3 Lightsaber Forms and 1 Force Form can be learn by Jedi Sentinel, Jedi Guardian and Jedi Consular before reaching Level 15.
The other 4 Lighsaber Forms can only be learned by Jedi Sentinel, Jedi Guardian, Sith Assassin/Jedi Watchman and Sith Marauder/Jedi Weapon Master.
The other 3 Force Forms can only be learn by Jedi Consular and Sith Lord/Jedi Master.
Example 1: If a Jedi Consular becomes Sith Assassin/Jedi Watchman or Sith Marauder/Jedi Weapon Master, Lightsaber Forms will be learn instead of Force Forms
Example 2: If a Jedi Sentinel or Jedi Guardian becomes Sith Lord/Jedi Master, Force Forms will be learn instead of Lighsaber Forms.
With the RCM, a Sentinel/Watchman also learns Juyo.
Great teachings master Kreia, you must have a lot of experience about lightsaber combat.
I love your content, thank you
Thank You, bird of possible future president! If you're a stork, it'd be great this video can be delivered to others who might be interested.
Awesome! Think you could maybe do something similar for HK-47's "Jedi Killing 101" lesson, or is that too short?
I made that video already and it's not too short it's over 7 minutes long. But I don't think there's much footage of Jedi dying as described. But when HK says that Jedi are also susceptible to getting turned on by their own troops, I did use some Order 66 footage. I don't think anyone picked up on it though.
Think Keira might be the deepest character ever developed in the Star Wars universe my all time favorite. Doesn’t even talk about her own form of lightsaber combat. You do a good job showing people who use the form your talking about.
*Kreia. Keira is from the Witcher. But yeah, thanks! I made sure to do my research.
The Exile could pretty much learn a Jedi Master tier Force Form & Lightsaber Form INSTANTLY... that's freaking crazy because it takes a Jedi YEARS to perfect a Form, in fact I think most Jedi are only practicable with very few Lightsaber Forms but again The Exile managed to learn ALL the Lightsaber forms around that time to a Jedi Master skill level in a fraction of the time. She/He is often overlooked in terms of her/his power but The Exile has to be 1 of the most powerful Jedi to ever live... perhaps even the most powerful Force User in the time of The Old Republic.
Learn all does not mean to master it. As far as I know, only Yoda and Palpatine were MASTERS of all forms.
The Exile was trained by the Jedi for most of his/her life, it's more than likely that he/she knew most if not all of those forms by the time he/she joined Revan and mastered those forms during the Mandalorian War, then forgot about them when he/she was cut from the force and rediscovered them after being tutored by Kreia.
Revan was more powerful than the Exile.
Yes, building in Unknown Human's comment. Kreia ultimately reintroduced the forms to the Exile, and in turn as their connection with the force built, the Mastery became more and more familiar. Hence the ferocity of the Exile's learning. It would have worked perfectly on Rey, but i guess they didn't.
@@SpiritofNature Yoda was only a master of Ataru. His small size hindering him with other forms
Quality video, the choice of clips and editing is perfect
Im like a kid hearing my grandpa war memories.
It amazes me.
Nice vid Papito. I like Soresu and Ataru.
I didn't know Maul used Juyo.
Thanks. Apparently he uses Juyo when he's fighting with his double bladed lightsaber. When Obi-Wan cut it in half to a single hilt, he switches to Niman.
Gotta love the style how it switches from Milo Surik and then back to his base character, Meetra Surik. Also, in my headcanon, Kreia wields a double-bladed lightsaber…
I'm surprised you didn't show Ataru with Yoda as he is a primary user of it.
But I did. It's quick, but it's there.
@@PapitoQinn Ah I saw it I would've thought he would've been on it the whole time.
Too fast to even notice. That's Yoda and Ataru, all right.
Form I = Way of the Sarlacc
Form II = Way of the Ysalamiri
Form III = Way of the Mynock
Form IV = Way of the Hawk-Bat
Form V = Way of the Krayt Dragon
Form VI = Way of the Rancor
Form VII = Way of the Vornskr
Ataru is my favorite!
Dooku would yell at Kreia for talking smack about his beloved form 2. I’m sure he knows of it’s draw backs but to have someone like Kreia say that to his face in the philosophical way she does would probably send him over the edge lol 😄
And all of a sudden a repeating blaster comes out of nowhere and cuts Dooku down.
This is awesome! I wonder what lightsaber combat style Revan would utilize? Prolly form VI I am thinking as he was strong in the force and fought through it
He takes a Form Vll (Juyo) stance in the Bastilia flashback on his ship's bridge cutscene from KOTOR 1. Narrowing him down to a single form is hard, as though his dominance comes more from his very strong affinity with the Force than through Saber combat.
@@RandoGrunt agreed he was like staring into the heart of the force after all. His force mastery is what gave him the edge in battle not so much his lightsaber skills. I figured he’d be a form 6 user to make full use of his force powers
I’m pretty sure that it was stated that Revan was an expert in every single lightsaber style but preferred certain ones at certain times.
Like how for his main offensive style he used Ataru during his time as a Jedi but later on used Juyo when he became a Sith.
However I would guess that his fallback form would normally be Niman because of his skill with force abilities and how it would let him adapt more effectively when needed.
To me, Kreia is THE Grey Jedi.
Nah kreia is a darksider through and through watch geestlys video on kotor 2 it explains it a lot better than I can
The only way to achieve true neutrality would be to mix kreias views with jolees
She walked both halves of Force to their end with ruthless curiosity of pathologist and saw cycle of death and destruction. A problem to solve and being too weak to solve it herself she found a student to perfect her method. She failed, but it didn't bother her as she knew she would never see her solution fulfilled.
once kotor 2 comes out on switch I'm gonna be using shien only,I'll be like Anakin Skywalker
The way that Kreia talks about Soresu, it's pretty clear she has no interest in tanks.
"It only delays the inevitable."
I wonder what she would say about Djem So. In my opinion it is the best form of lightsaber combat
Others may come in time
Niman very deadly,
I wonder what she’d say about Vapaad.
Yes I know it was developed thousands of years later by Mace Windu.
But I’d still would want to know what she’d say about it
She did. Its based on Juyo
Not to be a pain in the ass but I think you missed one of the Force forms there's supposed to be 4 of those, not 3
Can you get the Jedi Masters to teach lightsaber forms also.
Just suggesting.
I'll see what I can do.
I always thought Shien was the fourth lightsaber form and Ataru was the fifth one...silly of me.
What's the best for single combat : Juyo or Ataru ?
Awesome but you missed one force form
I know. I made up for it here: ua-cam.com/video/NgAlQ_BPNTg/v-deo.html
Force Mastery?
Yeah it's a shame but that one did go over my head. Whoops!
It's as if Kreia is actually seeing the foreseeable future (and even other universes) while narrating them. Quaint, but pretty nice.
You can tell she's not the biggest fan of form 3
Djem So, anyone?
The sister form to Shien.
Was wondering too ;). The way of the krayt.
She forgot eighth form - The High Ground
That wasn't developed until thousands of years later.
Unironically, that is indeed a form of combat, albeit more general and not a lightsaber form in particular. It's called Sokan, and it is essentially the art of using terrain and the environment to your advantage, which can mean the difference between life and death when the duelists are evenly matched. I believe that it is most often studied by users of Ataru, who need to leap across the area to overwhelm the opponent's defense with speed, and users of Niman, who are commonly more dedicated to using the Force as their method of combat and as such tend to make use of telekinesis.

Solo diré gracias 👍
I mean... thanks
Not one Luke vs Vader image? Not Even from ROTJ????
Where would I use it? Which lightsaber form were they using?
Papito Qinn right because you know all the forms in the prequel battles, yet you used the same scenes for different forms.
@@thenotoriouskid1736 Yes, because different people were using different forms. But why are you being so hostile? That was a legitimate question I was asking. Why did you assume I was being an asshole?
@@PapitoQinn If it helps anything, I can point out a few examples from the Original Trilogy, namely Empire Strikes Back. Luke's pretty heavy handed with Form lV, though I see elements of Form V in his swings... his very wild swings for that matter which highlights his inexperience which grows to be more refined by Return of the Jedi.
Vader uses Form ll at the beginning of the fight just to toy with his son, often using just one hand in a very duelist way incidentally akin to his old nemesis Dooku. He switches to his classic Form V at the final stretch of the fight when cornering Luke and constantly pressuring him.
This is good writing, not that forbidden garbage that is Disney
forbidden garbage. niceee.
It's too bad that in gameplay the lightsaber forms had very little noticeable impact, the force forms were very useful though
Makashi served me well against sion and nihilus
I noticed a different. I would deliver more or less damage depending on what form I had. I would also take more or less damage bases on form
Juyo with dual blades and force speed and master flurry is practically cheating, although it does get tiresome. Shien is helpful on hard difficulty in some situations on the Trayus academy when you need to cut down Sith while troopers and turrets pour blasterfire on you.
Fucking amaze balls
Thanks!
