I watch a lot of makeup videos purely for the wow factor but this series actually has the BEST tutorials because I know how skilled you are and you explain things so thoroughly! I have been trying the looks for each day and I'm loving it!!!

I honestly have to admit that your videos for the #EasyEyeWeek are the most anticipated ones in my feed. :-) I like how you took the time to explain what technique your were using and why and then demonstrating it slowly so the viewer can really get it. I really learned a lot from these 3 videos and I can't wait for the rest. Emily you really did a fantastic job, and made my job easier when I have to figure out what makeup to put on for work :-)

Seems like everyone and their mother are doing 10 shadows eyelooks now days, all hardcore, I think it´s awesome to kinda get back to basic stepstones, it doesnt have to be complicated eyelooks all of the time, simple ones can be just as stunning, and ppl with less experience (read ME) can recreate these types of looks :) and at the same time learn the what´s, why´s and how´s along the way as you add another shadow each day.
A HUGH plus is that you´re explaining every step so well, for me, as a person with Asperger (Autism) it´s hard to keep up with a lot of tutorials due to (in my head) vague explanations about what they are doing and why.

Another amazing video! Great tips. So often beauty vloggers just go through the motions without actually teaching anything in a tutorial. This was one of the few actual TUTORIALS I've seen in a long time.

You are by far the most genuine, helpful, and relatable makeup babe on UA-cam. I have others I watch, but you are the best. SO beautiful and super genuine! Love this series. I was just telling my husband that no one really teaches you how to apply makeup when you are young. I'm 36 now and I love makeup, but when I was younger I was clueless! It would have been fabulous to have you around then.

I agree with many here that we really appreciate you taking the time to make this video series to thoroughly explain how to apply eyeshadow and how to even use different brushes!! ;--). Some may be beginners, or whatnot, and it can get so confusing with all of the different looks and brushes for this function and that function, etc, that it is really helpful to have someone like you to explain it all to us.....

It's invaluable how you're verbally telling us where and how you're using the brushes. It's really hard to see whether someone in a demonstration is using lots of pressure or barely none, and it makes all the difference. Same with how the brush bristles are placed in the product, how much product is picked up and how to apply it with the brush. Thank you.

I've loved your videos for months now and never realized I should have 'liked' each one with the little 'thumb up' thingy. So, I've watched every one of your vids and almost all of the ones on the other channel. Now I'm going to try and go back and check each one of them to hit the 'like' area. I am 66 and still very 'into' makeup as I always have been, but, of course, doing my eye shadow all wrong. I never used brushes on my eyes or foundation and now I've collected many brushes and use them all when doing my makeup. I have just bought a 'Beauty Blender' sponge... the kind you use, as well as the micro-mini ones. I have to thank you for all the techniques I've learned from you. I think you're so gorgeous, inside and out and so generous with your knowledge. I so appreciate all you've freely given to us all..... old and young!!

These videos are AMAZING! Watching as many beauty youtubers as I do, I can easily get in over my head or get over excited and I forget a lot of the basic steps that you've talked about in your last few videos so I really appreciate these videos as a reminder.

When you see something that is so beautiful and want to duplicate it it's easy to forget about the simple shadow looks that really makes our eyes pop. I appreciate you doing this series. I really appreciate this series and I have this exact trio so I can't wait to finally use it the way you applied it. You did such a great job. I had tried focusing more on the amber color since I wanted to bring out the colors in my hazel eyes but it was baffling me why it wasn't turning out as pretty as I wanted it to be. This was awesome! With the weather getting warmer, and going out to soccer games and being outdoors with the grandkids, I want to look pulled together but keep it actually more simple. I'm loving the extra attention to details and the slow pace of this tutorial. I'm really looking forward to your next video. I've been watching you for a few years now but rarely comment. I'm loving this series! And I think you're doing a really great job of doing different types of looks, rather than a similar theme that just has greater numbers of colours! Loving it!
I would love to see you do a full drugstore look using just the tools that come in the products. Like the blush brush in the blush, the sponges in the eyeshadows etc. I think that would be fun to see how it came out. Since that's what most of used back in our teenage years.
