In zombies two when Wyatt had to go undercover he took off his necklace they’re not supposed to take your necklace off they will die
The real reason why the werewolves didn't jump the fence was because in the movie, it shows that they can touch silver or metal I guess and the fence is made out of metal and silver so basically adds up. So if you didn't get that, that's the reason why.

For the alpha theory,
When Zed's Z-band was attached to the moonstone it must have drained the power so Addison couldn't transform. The wolves needed to power up their necklaces to the moonstone or else they would be weak. She was seen as a leader of the wolf pack and cheer team and everyone looked up to her.
