I think Bobby’s comments were fair - I think Bobby really tried to give Russ the info to steer him in a successful direction - Russ ideally probably needed to read between the lines and see Bobby was trying to help and guide him to success with those suggestions
It was really weird listening to Bobby give genuine criticism and feedback on some of the flaws or strange design choices, and Russ' answer basically boiled down to "But I think it still looks good. Photographers will make it work. It's still fun." This is the EXACT mindset he has towards Marvel Legends, and unfortunately, that has spread to his fanbase. As if he's trying to dismiss Bobby's points as being a difference in preference, rather than an issue that can be adressed. An actual toy designer is giving Russ tips, but he just thinks he's being attacked. Aside from the podcast itself, these figures have a sort of amature look to them. It feels like Russ went into this wanting a specific set of articulation and an interchangable gimmick without fully understanding it.
All what I was thinking. This is exactly why Russ's new campaign will suffer the same fate as his previous one, failure. Also, the price is about $6 to much for the basic figures. Theres absolutely nothing "mainline" about these characters or the story. Whats the hook to get people to buy? Background figures? Nah. Its another dud and Sharts hubris is to blame.
I just don't think he's a good salesman. Also, probably too late to change the figures in any significant ways without incurring extra cost, so that's why he's reluctant to promise changes.
@LaserPants I feel like Russ might have felt that way. I could be reading into this too much, but it felt like Russ heard Bobby's feedback and viewed it as an insult on his creation, so then Russ felt the need to defend his product, which mostly seemed like him dismissing. Like with the interchangeable hoodie that shows the character's skin color underneath, Russ just dismissed it by saying it's not that noticeable. He didn't admit that it's noticeable and he can try to improve, nope, just dismissed it
Starting at 46:10 is quite interesting. Bobby was trying to figure if the "diaper" piece is going to be flexible in order to allow the waist ball peg and legs to move, similar to Mafex figures. Shart didn't seem to uderstand the question. I have no knowledge on action figure production, but I was quicly able to figure what ABS and PVC were just based off Bobby's questions and wording. Shart not being able to answer that effectively speaks volumes to the fact he doesn't really know this field that he's trying to enter in to. I feel the bigger underlying issue is that he seemingly only knows about Marvel Legends and SHF's Marvel figures (Marvel is probably SHF's weakest line). He occasionally reviews Mafex superheroes, but he doesn't delve into any high end collectibles using modern articulation (compare that to Anthony'scustoms who has even made customs using high end collectibles, so he understands how their articulation fuctions. His prototype have articulation that surpasses some imports). Taking inspiration from Marvel Legends - the most basic and outdated toy line currently in production by a massive company - is a terrible idea. It's like wanting to start a fast food business and you take inspiration from McDonald's. He's said repeatedly in his reviews that double ball peg necks and double ball peg diaphragms aren't as good as hinges. Which is wrong, especially when it comes to nuance posing. Russ really needed to do way more research on action figures before trying to make his own.
I think not having at least a single prototype on hand to demonstrate the articulations on camera is a huge mistake on Shart's part. I've seen Anthony's review of the proto he received and while I'm still a bit confused about how the lower-ab-crunch/swivel area is achieved, it does work and would've answered some of Bobby's concerns about how that is supposed to work, with both a crunch and a detachable swivel.
Yeah double ball pegs is the future and has been the future for a while now, everyone was losing their mind over the "super articulated" Black Widow and I looked at that thing and said "it's already outdated". It's not like Hasbro can't make double ball torsos since GI Joe utilizes them and it's not like they're super expensive to engineer, it's a simple design for unlimited range and articulation.
Maybe Russ should have created a comic book to present the story and flesh out the characters. It's too late now, but who knows how things will work out in the future.

I asked a couple of friends what their first thoughts were when I mentioned the name "Street Humans" and they all, ALL said they thought It was a new term for homeless people.. they don't collect and they are foul mouthed people. But I feel like they have a point. I hope it's just us being picky. Does anybody else feel like this about the name"Street Humans"
Shartimus Prime is better off funding this on his own. While he is saving up the cash to pay for it he should do the research to know what all the details really are. Mr. Vala gave him a few things to consider. Shartimus Prime should use those things as a starting point to research what he plans to do. He really needs to do the background research so he can avoid being taken advantage of. Hopefully Shartimus Prime is taking notes of all the criticism so he can get himself pointed in the right direction.
Bobby and Ryan thanks for the Uk news, we have so many collectors hungry to recollect the line - I’m still gonna buy from Valaverse aswell as the Uk retailer - but that is super helpful
I'm still ready to buy these. Multiple ethnicities, street level peeps that can be good guys or bad guys. This was gonna be a great thing to have in hand
Shartimus didn’t seem to be listening to the good constructive criticism Bobby was say on the show. You would think it would be wise to listen instead.
Well, the thing is he thinks he is top tier when it comes to toy reviewers and he isn’t! There are 100 guys much better than him and guys that have a better positive fanbase that wasn’t based on him begging fans for money and likes! I will never back a shill! :)
That's not true, and the proof is in the podcast. Rewind the tape, we discussed this, I had taken that issue seriously and we looked at a number of ways of tackling it. Bobby and I both agreed there's no way of having removable shoulder joints without having extra butterfly joint caps laying around. It's not like a solution was presented by Bobby and then ignored.
@@russtoyreviews5967you are mentioning only one specific topic, just about every good point Bobby brought up was dismissed quickly. Can't be that defensive and at least be open to possibilities. Like saying there are so many great ideas to come if the crowd funding passes. No, you put your best ideas out first to make sure it's successful. There's too much competition in action figures.
Street Humans has an uphill battle. There are a lot of action figures already on the market. Some of the answers were not the best. There is also a lot of economic uncertainty.
I really like Shart as a reviewer but his answers to Bobby's questions show how unprepared he is for this. He is completely over his head when it comes to making a line and considering what the consumer wants and not necessarily what he wants.

I thought I was overthinking this, but after asking friends what they thought about the name "Street Humans" they all thought it was a diss towards homeless people. 🤔 idk about the name. Tbh idk about Shartimus too.
Only have backed one kick starter and it was for valaverse action force. And I rem seeing about it on a UA-cam channel promoting it. And of course it had to be shartimus that did that. I def watched him Back then. But I was dying for a good military line and knew of what old action force was.. checked it out on Kickstarter and I was sold. But was first and only time I backed Kickstarter so far. Street humans will prob be my next one. Just depends my future now. Paralyzed disabled and wife just left me so can’t even get my latest action force stuff at moment. But I’m sure as time goes on I will hopefully get them and street humans.

But life comes before hobby… once again thanks kind words.
I’ve watched shart for years. And still like him. But he was soo defensive of anything Bobby had to say that he wasn’t even listening to his questions and the answers were more of a rebuttal rather than an explanation. And idc “hustle” or not, in the car? It screams more desperation, rather than confident, calculated, and well planed. 🫤 I mean 3poa did more planning and set for his line, than he did for this interview.
He's right about the San Jose Super Toy and Comicbook Show put on by the folks at Time Tunnel Toys. I've been selling at that Show for a couple decades now. Always a good event.
Everyone comments like they are a player in the game. I’m just happy someone is out here trying to make new figures. I buy anything that looks cool and a need me some street humans. I’m all about supporting entrepreneurs. Best of luck to @Shartimus I hope and wish nothing but success Sir.
A lot of the clearance issues is due to Hasbro dropping product after product and Target must clear space for new products, as they only rent a small space for GI Joe. So understanding retail, as I’ve worked for many years…you would know that’s why this clearance issue is happening. It’s not lack of sales, it’s them pushing wayy too much product onto retailers!
Maybe. However, the small handful of stores I go to (which obviously represents the entire world accurately) always have bare shelves where Marvel Legends, Transformers, GI Joe, Star Wars, and other brands should be. These companies could reallocate the products to the stores I go to so I can find them.
That's all BS! TRUST ME. _"Renting Space?"_ The space is allocated due to what Hasbro sends. Cause *the Target shelves our 60% Empty,* like 90% of the time right (this is multiple Targets by me, 6 stores all 15 mnts apart in _the Twins,_ where they're also Headquartered). Thus saying; _"We need to clearence these CLASSIFIED figs out &/or remove them. All because A New Wave"_ (4 new figures are coming/ 10 packed via 2 whole cases) _"needs to be stocked in that exact spot!"_ While like 2 feet of vertical pegs, on each side of said CLASSIFIED pegs- remains completely empty !? > It's all not adding up! New (Hasbro) CLASSIFIED & (Mattel) MASTERVERSE stuff comes out on the 1st, and on the 15th it's already on Clearence. This HAS FACTUALLY HAPPENED WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS, MULTIPLE TIMES! Also, Throw in the new "Boys toys" shorter long shelf. That Target's have been putting in, and only in - the Boys Toys section mind you. Hmmmm... A shorter middle "see over shelf", which allows less space for vertical pegs (PEGS THAT OUR USUALLY EMPTY). _____________ Bottom Line, something isn't adding up. While the Neca "collectors section" ((also the only spot for Movie related McFarlane DC Multiverse figs for some stupid reason)) is never on Clearence! Sure you might see them _Batman "66_ figures on Clearence over there. But that's it! There's _Nightmare on Elm Street_ & Neca TMNT "Frogs" 2-packs that came out years ago. Well they're still there! And if anything the price on all that stuff has went up. In conclusion, it's not as 'cut & dry' as people act. There's A Massive merchant too Target Corporate (as in "Corpse") disconnect going on..
I wish the best of luck on the Kickstarter, the more figures the better. I just wish The guest was more prepared to answer the basics and have a well thought out outline of his line. Anyone trying to start a toy line should listen to the points Vala makes in the Clownfish TV interview starting at 21:42 he drops the knowledge.
Good show gents! I have watched Russ from the early days and appreciated what he did to push Hasbro Legends and to Valaverse for it pushing Hasbro Joe. I think this was helpful for Russ’s line. Bobby has been in the industry and gone through the process of that Russ is going through. I think more collaboration would benefit the line. Action force for me at first was just filler for better weapons and generic soldiers for Joes and Legends, etc. But my curiosity led me to read the file card profiles, comics and Largos deep dives into the lore drove me to get book.
Awesome constructiveness. Russ been devoted to help collectors for so long not really expecting nothing in return cause of his passion. Def an appreciated Organic interaction that became personal for lot of old school collectors. LP in his own right does an awesome job of referring guests bringing back others to a balance. Love it everytime he keeps bob in check. Really kool of HIM to have Prime on here and moderating the situation. 🤘🏼Go Optimus
I don’t see this coming to fruition. And I’d be shocked if there’s a second wave. I got the impression the value wasn’t there and the mindset is “good enough”.
I appreciate the offering for this campaign and do want customizable street thugs for my heroes to fight. Hoping this campaign reaches its goal. This wasn't a very... optimal promotional stream I gotta admit.
I'll be honest Russ was kind of getting softball questions and he struck out every time. Can't even answer what plastic is being used, and on the topic of the jacket/hoodie pieces with the skin color poking through, "pHoToGRaPHeRs CaN wOrK wITh ThAr" no that Luke Cage is a prime example of how not doing the bare minimum can compromise the overall figure, dude gets called out with on hand evidence and immediately deflects. I wish Shartimus the best on his project but if it fails we can sort of use this podcast as to why it failed, poor communication, zero transparency, over ambitious, kind of mid product.
Disappointed that I missed this live, didn’t know Mr Vala was going to make an appearance, AND give us a sneak peek at some of the new releases coming soon !!! I enjoyed the articulation talk on the butterfly joints and waist and hips articulation, the figure design talk. The paint app in the underarm area. I just listened to the podcast whilst hobbying around with my newly acquired Action Force figures and I am very impressed with how well the design of these works together. The sculpture of the combat shirts, and really the entire figure is so good. The level of detail in the shemagh scarf with the little checkers is fantastic. I agree, these don’t need toe articulation. Best of luck with the Street Humans line, the Alien angle might catch some interest.
Man, this turned out exactly how I thought it would. I like Shartimus. I've been watching him since started collecting, but from the car? I would have stayed at the hotel just to do the interview then gone home afterwards. How do you pitch a KS for a figure and not have the prototype in hand? Having that in hand would have answered a lot of Bobby's questions. He didn't seem like he was receptive to Bobby's advice at all. Ryan, you were 100% right about winning over the 3POA fans, sadly, I don't think he did.
Most of them probably don’t know him that well on the podcast from responses. Aside from the other 80 percent that do As a OG reviewer not a toy creator.
I do like some of the head sculpts for the figures, but I'm just a bit confused why the initial offering doesn't include the alien/ beast version that the whole gimmick. Kind of feels like I'm buying a transformer that doesn't transform. Also think he needs to work on his salesmanship/sales pitch. To me he didn't present himself very confidently in himself and the product. He should be treating these interviews like infomercials for his product. He could have provided you guys with a PowerPoint highlighting the ins and outs of the figures and the campaign. Also could help him control the conversation and seeming a bit more official and less mom and pop.
One thing I’ll add about retail space…NECA owns their Target retail space. Hasbro rents theirs! That is the difference and why NECA never go on clearance at Target! All Meijer’s now too!
@@curseoffenrirexactly and that’s what I was screamin. Guessing 80 percent don’t know Russ outside of a new figure designer. Missing 15 years of who he is.
I remember the first campaign from a couple years ago. I've posted maybe twice then and two or three times this year that there were too many heads (four for each body back then). I don't know how many other people mentioned that.
I like how these figures look with the extra packs. If those extra packs where garenteed I'd back it. Cool figures I hope these get funded because the figures I like the most from this are the ones not up on the kickstarter right now.
As of writing this, the Kickstarter wasn't funded. I don't think it had anything to do with the figures themselves, I just don't think Russ has the engagement to pull off a Kickstarter goal of $120K. He also only made appearances on channels who has equal or less engagement than his channel, most of those channels also heavily focus on Marvel Legends, which means there's probably overlap in viewers and subscribers. His attempt to spread the word was to people who likely already knew about it.
This was awkward. It felt like Bobby was trying to be fair with his criticism, & Shartimus just came across as defensive. When Shartimus "moderated" that "debate", I had a bad feeling about him, but was willing to hear him out on a different topic. Unfortunately here, he was consistent, & not in a good way.
Yeah, he has that Marvel Legends fanboy mentality. Deflecting all forms of objective criticism as being "your opinion." Like when someone left a super chat saying how these look like generic guys, which is a boring design. Russ' response was, "I couldn't disagree more. They're really fun to pose around." Completely dodging the criticism by changing the topic
When you’re going over two peoples resumes and it’s time for the ask those hard hitting questions about their experience… I’d gotta go with Bobby on this. I used to work for a corporate office and you can tell the ones who worked for corporate and the ones who are “free-spirited BIG thinkers” that don’t wanna listen to pass knowledge advice. With everything currently out in the market right no, especially Valaverse and now Monster Force. Street Humans is a hard pass for me.
No Bias towards SP cause I’m not crazy about those but Him as a reviewer and person He has made his mark over a decade for us old school collectors with his organic personal approach. I hope this path he’s trying to pursue doesn’t cause him to abandon his original reviewing if ships sank. Prime wears his heart on his sleeve.
man, shartimus could have done better promoting his product. the start got me disinterested already because he is inside the damn car driving and what not, it seems that he is not even prepared. i only watch till the end because i was hoping that it will get better but it did not. 😢
Being in the car didn't bother me, I'm fine with him being out there hustling. But he doesn't seem to know much about action figure production and was very defensive towards Bobby's questions. The figures look too generic for me. I was actually more interested in civilian figures as he originally had talked about. But now these are aliens with unique powers that can transform into humans. At least give them cool alien headsculpts.
Can shartimus digitally sculpt ? Does he do anything ? Ive seen/heard bobby make comments on toy collectors making toys.... i thought id see some more grilling... side note... street humans has got to be.. kinda the worst name for a line ever
From what I've heard on Shart's channel, he designed the look of the characters and the articulation he wanted. But he doesn't do much else other than that
@@3POAPodcastyea .. 4 people.. but 1 was the designer the other was the sculptor .. dont know where the other 2 apply.... interesting podcast im finishing it up now
Bobby Vala had a really interesting interview on Clownfish TV in the first half of September of 2023. It had a lot of information about Bobby Vala's background and getting into the toy industry.
Too many great looking lines out there. To the guy that commented that the line looks boring and Shart said it's because they have never had it in hand. Well, I have never had a monster force figure in hand and they look incredible. With so many options out there you really have to make a figure or line look very appealing for it to sell.
So I was on the fence with this and I will be blunt. I doubt I’m going to back at this point. First, and no offense, the responses to Bobby makes me think shart might not have a great idea of what he is doing. It would take a while to get all the specifics down so I will leave it at that. The other and possibly bigger part for me is the monster parts which were the most interesting aspect to me are unlockables? I think if they were an add on right out of the gate I’d still grab at least one despite my reservations cause those are kind of interesting. On clearance, I honestly think stuff going to clearance and to Ollie’s is the direct result of Hasbro and pumping out too much at once. I can’t even keep up with MOTU anymore and WWE is insane of late. Legends Pumped out 16 waves this year (so far) and 15 last year. I agree with Bobby, nothing has tome to breathe anymore and they have to move it out for the new waves. I’m picking up one legend every 2-3 waves abd it’s still a lot. Crazy.
I really don't like Hasbro's "story telling" through packaging for GI Joe. That strikes me as a very strange way to market a product. It looks like Street Humans has some engineering issues to deal with before really tackling a story.
This was very insightful. One only had to watch Bobby Vala's body language and face to see what he thought of Russ' campaign. It's too bad. From a communications' perspective, Russ dropped the ball and probably discouraged many people on the fence. He was not prepared for this interview and seems unprepared for this campaign.I am personally not prepared to take the plunge with his campaign due to the poor showing in the interview. Huslin' won't cut it. He's playing in the big leagues now. This is a killer on Kickstarter. Russ does have some good knowledge, as when he stopped Bobby Vala's sleight of the hand blame gamer trying to claim that Hasbro does not have a compelling product, which is why the large retailers are pulling products out after just a week. Scrap Iron and Grunt are compelling products. Them being removed from shelves is not because of product quality nor being uncompelling. Shelf space with a year's worth of products being dumped in less than six months because of the post pandemic distribution hell is closer to the reality of the problem. I still hope that Russ learns from this experience and never ever again pulls off such an amateurish performance for a critical interview where he has to pitch his products to consumers.
Shartimus Prime's answer to the blue jeans question "If people want the blue jeans they should fund the project". (paraphrasing) is not the best response. I recall hearing something like that from one or more of the HasLab projects. It seems like Shartimus Prime is imitating Hasbro in some ways. Hasbro is not a good model to follow - especially now with all of Hasbro's problems.
He unfortunately has that Has-Bro mindset now. "It's got to be this exact way, it's not going to change even if there's flaws." The bigger issue is that Russ seemingly can't take criticism
@@chewymew At this point it is probably not possible to make changes to the Kickstarter plan. Right now it would be best for him to scrap this plan and try again after very carefully going over every aspect of the entire project.
Conceptwise, is a mess. I don´t like the name of the line or the reasoning behind it. "Street Humans. That´s how they call us"....but the line is about the aliens, not us. In that sense, shouldn´t the alien parts be included in the first offering? Also, he talked about the "smart Donatello tech kinda guy" alien, but said alien has nothing to it to show his techy aspect. Stretchgoals are interesting tho, but I think they should´ve been another option to fund. Depending on shipping, I might back one.
It seems like originally he wanted a generic back ground figure to add to Marvel Legends displays. He wanted normal humans to be in the middle of super hero and super villain battles. It's an interesting and niche idea. The alien part might not be helping.
Yeah the name is pretty strange, but I feel like he did this because this Kickstarter is very unlikely to reach those alien parts as stretch goals, considering how low Shart's active fanbase already is, and not every fan is even going to donate. If he called it something interesting like "Urban Udubah Usurpation," but the alien parts are never unlocked, then it's just generic guys. Also he mentioned they have mutant powers... but there's power effect or tech stuff for Discount Donatello. And shipping in the USA is $8 for one figure.
Geez,Shart shilling for the Hasbro team, when Bobby busted out his vehicle with no crowd funding, ask Hasbro how to make it for under $185. Then Shart tells Bobby you have 5 Mill. Like really? And how much you think Hasbro has? Lol
Laserpants trying to be funny with Shartimus and failing miserbly lol. Very awkward was that movie talk. Anyway, credit to Shartimus for appearing on the show. But he should be more open to constructive criticism of his toy line, especially from someone with a proven track record in action figure production like Bobby. Unfortunately his street humans seem too generic and too expensive. There are too many action figure lines nowadays so the competition is fierce. Edit: As i watched the entire video i notice how Shartimus appears very lost in many questions Bobby asked him. Seems like Shartimus did not consider many things. Bibbymade a great point about the jeans and black pants figures being released first and Shartimus just dismisses it that people can fund them if they really want them. Can you imagine any company head actually making that statement? Lol. Love Shartimus as a reviewer, he was among the first i started watching, but its clear making action figures for mass production is out of his element.
Shartimus Prime's answer to the blue jeans "If people want it they can fund it." That sounds a lot like what we'ver heard from a HasLab project or two. It seems like Shartimus Prime is immitating Hasbro in some ways. Hasbro is not a good model to follow at all.
54:18 now that's a funny comment. Might be worth leaning into that by giving a bendy weapon to a fig with a nick fury/sam jackson, eternals/angelina jolie and james macavoy/professor x head. That might be something I've *_wanted_* to do without knowing it.
The reason you're seeing all of the hasbro clearance at Ollies is quality control and price hikes! Hasbro gives us the least, hides their flawed over priced toys and accessories in a windoess box, and this is the result, not to mention terrible customer service. Play stupid games with your consumers and win stupid prizes! My dream was once 6" Gi Joe figures. That dream has sailed and thank the lord for Action Force! The only thing Classified is clinging onto is nostalgia at this point and that isn't going to last forever!
So this guy does the interview from his car, nothing in hand to show off to potential customers. Compare this against the prototype demonstration done by Ace from Ramen Toys earlier this week: Ace showed up with the prototype on hand, very sensitive to issues and questions collectors may have, very professional.
Nah he set a high ass goal to reach and even the stretch goals are high AF, ain’t no way this is making it. Basic figures is too much, seeing how he added the alien heads instead of goals
@@danielmilliken8903 15 years is definitely a long time and that’s awesome but the questions that were being asked were from a knowledgeable, businessman and creator of Toys, and he seemed to keep dodging the questions, and he wasn’t prepared. I don't know about this. 28 dollars is a bit steep, they look only decent. You can grab a super nice thug like character from 5k Toys. He will have to go up against that and other figures in the market that is already over saturated with 1/12 scale figures.
I actually think $28 is pretty reasonable for a 6” kickstarter line. But I agree that his biggest challenge may be the over saturation of the 1/12 market.
Blue jeans and black pants might hav been the best ones to start with to create generic background figures or thugs.. The anecdotal evidence of what we see on the streets when walking around is most likely scientifically backed up by research and data. This information would be found in university text books (as examples of data analytics concepts), industry trade publications, companies' own research (not available to the public), and news articles and blogs most easily available to the general public. The last source of information is the least credible source, but maybe an ok starting point to get used to some of the vocabulary. Disney, Hasbro, and other companies lately seem to not be paying attention to what the data indicates they should be doing. Surely Hasbro would have studied the possible impact of switching to WINDOWLESS boxes. One would think that the data would indicate that sales would plummet.
I've seen comments on his channel saying that his figures are going to turn out like McFarlane's. But he didn't give the full context. They said McFarlane's figures are some of the worst figures on the market. Basically saying Russ' line is destined to be terrible... just like how they view McFarlane
No, I think he wanted to give constructive criticism, but held back as to not upset Shart. I love that Shartimus is trying this and the figures do look ok, but the biggest thing is that I think he was counting on more of his 600,000 + subscribers to back this. If 1% of his subs bought one figure this would reach its goal.
Well I'll give it to Shart for going into the lions den. At least if Sharts fig doesn't fund we know who to blame. Bobby Valor and the 3OPA. Bobby Valor is a Hack disgruntled X Hasbro employee that took prototypes from Hasbro to make is ✌🏼not G.I.Joe line.

An actual toy designer is giving Russ tips, but he just thinks he's being attacked.
Aside from the podcast itself, these figures have a sort of amature look to them. It feels like Russ went into this wanting a specific set of articulation and an interchangable gimmick without fully understanding it.
You think Russ felt attacked?
He didn't admit that it's noticeable and he can try to improve, nope, just dismissed it
He shills for Hasbro! He’s begged kids for money! The guy isn’t the right one!! He’s delusional!
This was a tough watch...
@@scottroxford5715 👊🏼🤍
Maybe Russ should have created a comic book to present the story and flesh out the characters.
It's too late now, but who knows how things will work out in the future.

Hell yeah - as a dude from the UK, glad to hear its happening
I'm still ready to buy these. Multiple ethnicities, street level peeps that can be good guys or bad guys. This was gonna be a great thing to have in hand
You gentlemen were born in '81?
Man, I have action figures older than you.
Shartimus didn’t seem to be listening to the good constructive criticism Bobby was say on the show. You would think it would be wise to listen instead.
He came into this with that Has-Bro mind set still.
Hopefully he will listen to advice from established industry peers. I think he needs to if this campaign is to be successful.

Thus saying;
_"We need to clearence these CLASSIFIED figs out &/or remove them.
Also,
Throw in the new "Boys toys" shorter long shelf. That Target's have been putting in, and only in - the Boys Toys section mind you. Hmmmm... A shorter middle "see over shelf", which allows less space for vertical pegs (PEGS THAT OUR USUALLY EMPTY).
_____________
Bottom Line, something isn't adding up.

Yeah this guy did this lazy asf! His figures ain’t bad, but Jody has any in hand!!
What, you've never made a high-stakes sales pitch from the driver's seat of your car before?
He has a product tion making it, he's not creating it in a chemistry lab 🤦🏿♂️

'Get closer to the Google HQ' 🤣🤣🤣
How did I miss this?? This is so painful to watch! As of now the only indipendent toy maker I trust are Bobby and Ace (Ramen Toys).
He added the alien heads to the base offering.
One thing I’ll add about retail space…NECA owns their Target retail space. Hasbro rents theirs! That is the difference and why NECA never go on clearance at Target! All Meijer’s now too!
Did not know that, but that explains a lot

That could definitely be one of the reasons it didn’t fund. That makes a lot of sense.
All figures from Hasbro are at least $5 to $10 more than they should be BUT Hasbro Execs are too arrogant to admit this failure.
Hasbro's current quality isn't even good enough for the $5 that people are finding them at Ollie's for.
Bobby, there’s an Ollie’s on Fall River Ave Seekonk/east providence and another near Weymouth Ma
Deflecting all forms of objective criticism as being "your opinion."
Like when someone left a super chat saying how these look like generic guys, which is a boring design.
Russ' response was, "I couldn't disagree more. They're really fun to pose around."
Completely dodging the criticism by changing the topic
When you’re going over two peoples resumes and it’s time for the ask those hard hitting questions about their experience… I’d gotta go with Bobby on this.

It had a lot of information about Bobby Vala's background and getting into the toy industry.
Great news on the UK retailer situation, thanks for making this happen Bobby. 👍
Good luck with his line, but with the valaverse ,gi joe and monster force with better options, my wallet is done .
Too many great looking lines out there. To the guy that commented that the line looks boring and Shart said it's because they have never had it in hand. Well, I have never had a monster force figure in hand and they look incredible. With so many options out there you really have to make a figure or line look very appealing for it to sell.
Bobby wears motherfucking suits! Mic drop!
We can tell u love the f out of him too by blocked comments. Dark Hearts think alike and light overcomes darkness. Lol
Crazy.

We have to postpone it due to me being sick and Jeremy being a loser.
I think it’s a great idea for a line. Especially for the figure photographers.

He doesn’t take criticism well, that’s probably why it failed..
So this guy does the interview from his car, nothing in hand to show off to potential customers. Compare this against the prototype demonstration done by Ace from Ramen Toys earlier this week: Ace showed up with the prototype on hand, very sensitive to issues and questions collectors may have, very professional.
Also Anthonyscustoms when he made a video about his prototypes. He basically showed off everything

@@danielmilliken8903 15 years is definitely a long time and that’s awesome but the questions that were being asked were from a knowledgeable, businessman and creator of Toys, and he seemed to keep dodging the questions, and he wasn’t prepared. I don’t hate on the guy at all but if you’re going to go onto a show like 3POA then at least be prepared to answer the tough questions, because from what I watched, it was tough to watch and he couldn’t except any criticism. And because he’s been in the UA-cam community talking and reviewing toys does it mean to eat knows how to make them and what she may like other people may not like. I’ve been listening to music for 40 years. That doesn’t mean I’m going to go out and write my own songs.
@@rexjaycox9588 I respect how u responded to that and sadly it’s true what u said. I commented that more so because I felt others attacking more than that but your explaining made it clear ur not. I can’t deny what u said. Most people don’t know him much as a person aside from this figure project. But it is true what u sent me 👊🏼
@@rexjaycox9588 I apologize I misinterpreted u on this particular post then.
I agree with @toygains
What did toygains say?
@3POAPodcast lol weren't you on the podcast?
And..? I have 51 3POA podcasts alone, among many many others. You think I remember the name and comment of everyone that’s ever contributed to the show?
Lol ok since were pulling out the measuring sticks,I have over 100 podcasts and I remember everyone's questions or I go back and see. Don't know why your making a big deal about this. If you really wanted to know you would've gone back and checked. It's not my job to remind you of your own podcasts. But anyway good show. 👍
@@3POAPodcastI said I appreciate the hustle but the figures were boring AF.
When he said I want this line to be inclusive and represent everyone I knew it's doomed
Especially because all these minorities "represented" are extra terrestrials and criminals for heroes to beat up
Toys?
Toys!
I hope Shart doesn’t take the constructive criticism from Bobby as attacks.
He didn’t. He thanked me for having him on the show and told me he thought the questions were good.
@@3POAPodcast that's good to hear.
Dude said he could be the next McFarlane lmfao so delusional!!
I've seen comments on his channel saying that his figures are going to turn out like McFarlane's.
But he didn't give the full context. They said McFarlane's figures are some of the worst figures on the market. Basically saying Russ' line is destined to be terrible... just like how they view McFarlane
does Bobby hate Shartimus. that's the vibe im getting in this interview. i'm in hour and 30mins in.
No, he doesn’t. What gives you that vibe?
I didn't get a hate vibe - I got a 'this guy is out of his depth' vibe
@@MadCaddyStandardThe original commenter probably came from Shart's channel and is a Has-Bro
'Street Trash' is a better name, like the movie.
That name is terrible.
Don’t 4get while intoxicated. It’s a must 🤘🏼
You’ll blame us if Sharts line doesn’t fund? Are you insane?
Lmfao? Bobby's a hack? 😂😂😂
You sound retarded
Yes ddy
