Thankyou. All our team are trained marine engineers. Part of their role is to perform boat rescue and recovery and they are all highly trained in this role
No, our memberships all just cover break downs, inspections and parts, depending on the cover. Insurance generally covers salvage and re-floating, depending on your cover and I would urge everybody to check their small print and ask questions of their insurers to make sure they are covered for sinking and possible accommodation if you are made homeless. It can be quite and expensive time if you are not covered
Weed hatch missing ! ! I believe that short of a torpedo, sea mine , car crash off a bridge, tree crash on to roof, gas explosion etc etc you got the drift then either weed hatch, stern gland , or modification in the wrong place ( which can happen by stupid humans and has happened) then floating should continue ohh the bilge pump has to be an Automatic one failed and boat left for long periods and lots and lots of rain
Interesting video, hope the owner is insured & gets their boat back up & running soon.
This is so interesting I can’t believe how much work goes into it 😳 super hero’s 🥰
Thankyou Helen, our guys are very experienced and extremely well trained. And they love their work too!
Never leave your boat unattended and go on holiday
unconfirmed, but a passer by told us that the owner had left the boat in the hands of a friend, but we don't know that as fact, just hearsay...
Very rewarding job, how do the crew get into this line of work?

Good work fellas.’ Does a RCR Gold membership cover this event or did insurance pay?

Very interesting video. What do you use to block holes like this in the hull of aluminium boats like Sea Otters ?
We do also use plastic plugs
Became submerged?? Sank!
Became submerged is a "posher" way to say it sank... 🙂

What’s a magne ?
The "T" gets lost in the white of the boat - it's "magnet"
