this was a really long time ago haha but i swear, you deserve so much more recognition, i absolutely LOVE how accurate you are with your fabrics, this made me consider looking into costume making and embroidery, i hope to one day be just as skilled as you are
I really want to attempt this, but I'm terrified! D: I've been wanting since I saw the episode. You did such an amazing job, I just saw your instagram. I admire you!!
I found this fascinating. I’ve not watched Game of Thrones but I too love embroidery and Goldwork and I’m a hobby seamstress. I applaud your determination in sourcing the fabrics, all the embroidery you’ve done, your steaming process, just incredible.
Thank you for this video. It is so educational/informative and I really love how you breakdown all of the detail of Sansa costume from that book and I would’ve never known so much went into it without you.❤🎉
This is great, I love that dress so much and I love Sansa, so I hope I can attempt it someday. The trick with the marbles is really clever, fabric manipulation can get really creative and unexpected!
I'm watching this in 2024 but the crushed velvet fabric at around minute 27:00 ish is so well fitted for Rhaenyra's sleep attire in HOTD S2, that blue velvet gown
Thank you for posting such an in-depth look at your process! It was really inspiring! Also thank you for making me aware of Michele Clapton's book on her work on Thrones; I just received my copy and I love it. I was wondering if you've also looked through Michele Carragher's book Trace?
The leafs you embroidered looks beautiful. You have a great talents. The time amd money for the costume sounds to be a large amounts. You can do it. One step at a time. Thank you for the video.
Hello there! This is the first video if you I have watched, and I am really happy that I have discovered your channel! :) I, too, love Sansas dress in the finale, so thank you for this video! I like how you talked about your progress on finding the right materials/skills to make this dress, and I am so excited for more progress!! The embroidery of the leaves so far is absolutely beautiful :D While I probably will not make a cosplay of this dress, I have definitely planned on making a dress inspired by the red leaves embroidery, and I will definitely take your work as a reference. :3 I am looking forward to new videos, and in the meantine I will check out the twitch streams you talked about :)
This is such a well done video! It feels like you've been doing youtube for a long time, but this is your first lengthy vlog haha. Definetly sticking around for more!
Can’t tell if UA-cam ate my comment (so just in case, I’ll say again that this was fantastic!) but I finished the video and realised you mentioned your twitch username there :D it would be handy to have it in the video description too! Thanks for the amazing video.
This was such a great vlog! I loved watching you go into detail on not only the techniques used in the costume but also the meaning behind its design. Can't wait to see more of the build as you progress~
You're a great problem solver. An artisan must be this lest she will flounder and fail. You're delivery of information is easily digestible. Thank you. Signed, a person who studied science in college, nary an art class either. In other words, sisters in the innate
