I'm in Canada, and our broadcaster (CBC) shows the races live and has them available for replay. Unfortunately there's no commentary, which I would like to have. It'd be great if they could use the American/British/Aussie/Kiwi commentary feeds, but apparently not. Also, haven't found anyone (including World Sailing on UA-cam) with highlights including live video which is too bad.
Thats strange. Wonder why they couldn't get the commentary. Should have been very easy to use the commentary from other English speaking countries. It's sad the coverage isn't better and more accessible.
Cheers mate. I would have said Burling in a heart beat if you'd asked me yesterday but he's shown he isn't invincible. If you pushed me for an answer probably the Brits or Burling
@@FastForwardSailing hmmm I think that Burling is still the clear favorite, it was just the first Race, but I’m not an expert like you. Did they never had a bad start like that? Is it very difficult to win after that Start?
@@Kenny1McCormick I reckon he is. But GBR are no slouch. Crew was a silver medalist and helm helmed in SailGP last season before Ainslie took over. It can be difficult to catch up after a bad start but the shifty conditions in Enoshima should make it easier to catch up. But still not easy as the competition is so tough
Why isn’t sailing on terrestrial TV? Not seeing any sailing as a consequence.
Money. Eurosport and Discovery have bought the rights.
Only £6.99 for one month on Discovery +.

@@FastForwardSailing In the US, there is no way to watch it if you don't have cable. A good VPN is an option still at least
Great Video! 👍
Who do you think will win Gold in the 49er Class (M) ?

@@FastForwardSailing thx for your opinion. How many races are tomorrow?
@@Kenny1McCormick Quite a few. You can see the schedule here: tokyo2020.sailing.org/results-centre
video won't load
That's strange. Are other videos working for you? Maybe try a different browser?
Very. It's working fine today. All other videos were working so not sure what was going on there.
@@artistglyn Very odd. Hopefully it was a one off :)
