Hello from Greece! I watch your videos over a decade now and I want to tell you, I 'm so happy every time I see there is a new one. I feel so happy when I see other kindred spirits, who like peaceful moments, books, coloring etc. I feel so understood, in a world among of people who usually don't get us...
Wish you the best! Keep up with the good work!

You can use alcohol markers on one sided coloring books. Brush tip ones are awesome. They colors are richer and no streaking. Ohuhu are my favorite.

I have a notebook that I bought from Jarir Bookstore. Each page has a drawing on the front and back. Can you recommend a good type of marker pen? So that it doesn’t print on the back of the page? *Note* The paper is medium in roughness and smoothness.

    • @fa3ryg1rl1
      @fa3ryg1rl1 6 днів тому

@@hananAbdulaziz3 It really does depend on the paper and the thickness of the paper. I don't use markers on double-sided pages. Something that you could look into is acrylic paint pens. Those should not bleed through even if the paper is thin, but they are not markers, they are paint pens. A water-based marker you could try is tombow, but there might be some ghosting or bleeding if the paper is thin.

You could also try Crayola water-based markers, but I find water based markers streak.@@hananAbdulaziz3

I’ve just got back into colouring too! I love the bookish themed ones (Throne of Glass, ACOTAR, Terry Pratchett). I’d definitely recommend the Heartstopper one for anyone who enjoys an easy, cartoonish style to colour ❤

Haven't finished the video yet, but coloring books with small spaces used to stress me out too. Especially because I like to color with markers. I recently started using paper mate flair pens for the detailed coloring pages and it's going really well. I highly recommend it

Hailey, thank you for this video. You’ve inspired me to start coloring again - I purchased a few coloring books on Amazon :) I’m not a huge fan of super detailed/intricate coloring either, so it was great to know that not all adult coloring books have to be that way!

Fabiano Attanasio still makes collaboration books with the Mythographic series but they are incredibly detailed books! For some more simple and VERY cute i would highly recommend Lulu Mayo’s books - they’re all cute creatures and Kawaii style. Would also recommend Hanna Karlzon, Emile Lidehall Oberg and Maria Trolle - similar in style. Also - Eriy’s books for cute scenes and she also does storybook themed books, although some of them are harder to find as a Japanese Artist - all of her designs are done with a toothpick and ink!

Alcohol markers are good for one sided coloring books. I use my alcohol markers in my Creative Haven coloring books all the time. They work well with thinner paper because the ink doesn't break down the paper. They're just not good for double sided coloring books, because the color bleeds through.

I think you would like the matchstick mouse colouring books by Morgan O’Brien. I think you would like R J Hampson colouring books. Also the nice little town colouring books by Tatiana Bogema Stolova and I think you would like Kameliya Angelkova colouring books especially her different miniatures ones.
Fabiana Attanasio is now bring out books in the mythographic series of books she has a few but you might find them too detailed and intricate for your tastes as there is a lot going on in her images.

Oh Fabiana Attanasio is producing colouring books indeed. You should check out the "Mythographic series". You should look up Joseph Catimbang's art in that series ... outstanding.
I had to comment after 3 minutes. :-) Going to continue watching, so looking forward to this video.
Oh, you don't like intricate, so Mythographic probably won't suit you.
Anyway, I recommend investing in some art grade quality colouring books and paper. Amongst the newer ones I am mesmerized with "Stjärnfall" by Maria Trolle (should be published in English as "Falling Star"). I love every single picture in it, it's cuteness overload and the pictures are not overly detailed. I have it on display on my coloring book bookshelf, because the cover itself is just beautiful.
If you want to try coloring people, check out "Wildflower Folk" by Christine Karron, another gem.
    Greetings from Slovakia

Alcohol-based is my favorite because it doesn't leave streaky lines like water-based. They also blend better if you're into that. They do bleed through pages though so if you have a picture on the back of the page it will ruin it. You have to get books that have pictures on one side of the page only or copy them onto different paper. @@Tialda_k
