- In this video, Ustadh Nouman revisits the story of Prophet Dawoud (AS) through his reading of a famous incident recounted in Surah Sad. He explains how our correct understanding of the life and character of Dawoud (AS) was tarnished by a false interpretation of this incident in the Hebrew scripture, and that a careful study reveals that Allah sent these ayat to refute the false accusations they made against him regarding his alleged scheme to take the wife of one of his military commanders. Allah reveals that the true story of Dawoud is that he was a deeply faithful prophet who always humbled himself to Allah and, despite his great power, kept going back to Allah in repentance. The moral of his encounter with the two conflicting brothers in this parable is that if we are ever in a position to arbitrate between two people, we must always listen carefully to both sides and never allow our whims to effect our judgment.
Ustadh nouman is one of the reasons why i hate the fact that am moving out of Dallas:(:(:(. i used to drive anywhere he s giving a lecture. I started praying thanks to him my iman has increased thanks to him i even wore hijab during times everyone was against me thanks to him. It’s a mind boggling how people can insult their prophets. What greatest prophets AS Binu Israel had. They didn’t appreciated them but here we are love of all prophets that Allah sent to this world specially our beloved prophet Muhammad csw. We appreciated the knowledge and the wisdom they left us. I suggest to those that became attached to NAK's khutbas to try to read and reflect on the Qur'an on their own. Allah's speech is the best of speeches.
Acquiring wisdom from Quran scholars is a need before read and reflect complicated issues like this. Why to avoid learning from teacher when arabic is not your language. Quranic arabic is divine word and better to use all means for deeper n deeper understanding.

Everytime I see beautiful birds, the mountains, and trees, it reminds me of Allah's great blessings and Prophet Dawoud (peace be upon him). Allah honors all the great prophets in the Glorious Qur'an, all of them were among the righteous Muslims.

You know what, these Jews and Christians don't really consider prophets to be the best or the most greatest human beings and role models as we Muslims do, so when they read in their scriptures these horrible things about the prophets they simply believe in it and say they were human beings and yes they committed sins so what is wrong with that ?, they don't distinguish prophets of Allah SWT from ordinary people. And when you tell them that you scriptures are corrupted and these prophets can not commit those sins, then they say, God in our holy scriptures exposed the sins of his prophets.
Don't Muslim belive in first sin of Adam that he ate the fruit from tree of knowledge of good and evil.
@@raisonroy2824 we dont believe in the existence of a tree of knowledge of good n evil. Thats biblical version. Also the epic proportion to which they blew it. The Original Sin. We dont believe in original sin either. It was just a random tree of no significance. Also Quran describes that thing as a "slip" on their part n not an apic sin. Also after that Adam(pbuh) repented n was forgiven then n there in paradise itself n we r not sent on earth as a punishment for what he committed. He just ate a fruit. Also Quran doesn't demonise Eve(pbuh) as the source of evil nor is labour pain a punishment for that sin for womankind in Islam. Thats biblical version not Quran's.
@Ben' Yah Y'srael Sin is an act that is forbidden or displeasing to Allah. It is not a state of being. Sins are categorized in Islam as major and minor. Allah's mercy encompasses all sins and He forgives with just one sincere repentance. But if a person has transgressed on the rights of another person, then he has to ask that person's forgiveness so that Allah forgives him.
Read Al 'abasa, then search it' s asbabun nuzul, God's prophets are human, and that's why make them amazing, with their human form, with all limitations, with their feelings, with their mind but they attempted arduously build good civilization and attempted to avoid the mistake. Aren't those the reason we should follow their path as a human? Because, there are the examples of human who can achieved that.
I can't imagine If prophets weren't human with same ability like other human, they have power like human can do, it sounds like God commands us to follow angel or something that we can't to follow, impossible..
I think there are the problems to think if that is not a problem to make a sins because prophets are human too, and if prophets are flawless and guarantee before they died without sins..,
If they are human, and made sins and they repented. Doesn't it show that we should repent too if making sins? And avoid sins?

Yesterday I managed to listen to the debate of brother Yasir Qadhi & Dr.James White. Yasir admit that he major in specific studies (been humble), and James of others. Day 1 was at the Church and the Day 2, almost those attended on day 1 were at the mosque on the day 2 that provide a balance . It ended with my favourite subject on “BOwtie”. What a closure. Alhamdulillah
