It probably wasn’t that important for the video if you did find it, but you could have asked Renethal about future harvesters of Dread and Envy. He even states how if Kael’thas was further along in his atonement, he would be a candidate.

      @@mokarokas-1727 Uhm... No. Just no.
Kael'thas hardly wanted power for the sake of just having power, let alone 'greatness', so him cleansing the souls of those vices makes next to no sense.
He is even kinda-similar to Garrosh in that regard, wishing prosperity after a great stain on his people's history, and doing so in all the wrong ways.

@@ВладиславШаклеин-ч7м - But he says it over and over through-out his appearances in the lore pre-Shadowlands: he wants to reclaim his peoples' lost greatness (and preferably beyond), make them and himself powerful, usher in a new age...using pretty underhanded and immoral means to do so.
The description for the Harvester of Envy and their tithe is somewhat similar to the blood elf practice of siphoning power from the land and even creatures, and "Highborne" viewing themselves as above others. In any case, I think it fits him a lot more than the alternative. =)

Honestly i am really pissed. Current writers alter the things that we know to suit their narative without regard for what was established before. They arent even consistent with their own lore/story since i really doubt Renathal would forget how his sister (the original Stonewright) looks like. They just made the (current) Stonewright a Night Warrior just so they could use her for Tyrande arc, which they are making on the move without any sort of planning.
What pisses me of the most is how they think they are better then the previous writers, when in reality they are Game of Thrones season 8 quality writers. The BFA which was just another evil warchief starting a war and escaping into another dimension while also wasting the established lore of the Nazjatar and Black Empire which could have been an expansion on its own. Shadowlands is just blue Valkyr, "original" Scourge, blue instead of green Emerald Dream and bald Vampires.
They even went ahead and made Chronicles non-canon because it was in the way of their vision. Funny thing is they are just copying the idea of mysterious creators which previously were Titans only to make "First Ones" who in my opinion are the most blatant example of their writing. Just copy what was before and put them above it. Garrosh? just make Sylvanas warchief and make her more evil and destroy major capital like Teldrassil instead of just port city like Theramore. Lich King? just make this weird Jailer dude and make him mastermind behind every major threat like Scourge and Legion and so on.

    - Sire Denathrius you will now be put into a sword and imprisoned for eternity. Oh wait whoops now you aren't because plot lol! Haha

    - At seemingly "Convenient" times the First Ones seem to know everything and nothing about what has happened on Azeroth.
    - "Oh yeah all these sigils are like really important and there's only one for each First One, but we could also like... make new ones ig."
    - Is just.... everyone on Azeroth sitting by twiddling their thumbs like? Oh yeah there's a gaping hole in the sky but I'm gonna keep making cheese and paying taxes and not think about anything that's happening. Sure my king has disappeared but it's ok :)

Nobbel, did you encounter that bug where the Dread Lady in Sinfall wouldn't transform?

  • @TheHoboWithAShotgun
    @TheHoboWithAShotgun 3 роки тому

15:37 its simple IMO sire denatrius created the dreadlords for his own/jailers ambitions while sargeras either doesnt know about the jailer or if did maybe not his and denatrhitus' plans and when forming his burning legion. recruited denathrias' dreadlords for his plans to purge life from the universe and used them for his goals. so either sargeras never knew about these dreadlords true plans which was in service to their maker denathrius and the jailers. very painfully long patient plans and goals of jailer freeing himself and hence the "jailer was behind everything" retcon shit. maybe possibly using the old gods was part of his goal to escape. and thus manipulating everything from there as the jailer and the eternal ones are just as old as the titens he and eternal ones are ther pantheon of death and the titans sargeras was part fo are another pantheon (forget which) so the jailer is just as old adn been around as sargeras
or the other possibility is sargeras knew the origins of these dreadlords or at least knew their plans and didnt really care at the time as w/e these dreadlords were doing aligned with his goals. or perhaps along the line of the jailer/sir d plans they saw sargeras's plans and decided to play along and essentially use sargeras towards their own goals and joined the legion. sargeras recrutied these evil beings didnt create them so perhaps didnt really know much about them. so these dreadlords whole time played along with sargeras goal while still priotitziing their masters plans and i think along the way of working for sargeras maybe when they saw arthas kill sylvannas and make her a banshee probably saw her as their key towards their ultimate goal. so either they help manipulate sylvannas into suicide after lich kings fall which conveniently that suicide attempt changed her and made her pure darkside ended up later joining jailer as we all know. and jailer manipulated odyn into giving up his eye for his gain and not only for the eye for the evil valkyrie valkyr which he used to essentially decieve sylvannas about the afterlife by making her believe the afterlife system was unjust through his direct/indrect creation of these vaklkyr to convenintly meet her at the maw and make this bargain so they manipulated her knowing shes hellbent on revenge on lich king. while they didnt select her before arthas turned her but when he did saw this opportunity saw this hellbent revenge on lich king as undead. whether they manipulated her somehow to attempt suicide so they could convert her for their plans who really knows but they did. obviously part of jailers plan was not only to escape his prison but come to our world azeroth. so they took advantage of sylvannas and used sargeras and his legion which the dreadlords are helping but dreadlords arent true masters. also had voljin b4 he died make sylvannas warchief so she ahd control to do what she wanted essentially and made her warchief by jailer using the trol spirit dude to manifactur all those events in first place so turn sylvannas to their side. so anyway since jailer needs that veil broken has her brokle the helm of domination which mind u the jailer had made and frsotmourne. itd make sense that the pantheon of death (shadowlands ppl like prmius) woudl have the knowledge to make thew helm of domination and frostmoune and mournlbalade to open the veil and thus succesfuly manipulating sylvannas etc all to current events.
so to sum it up. since clearly imo the jailer is just as old sargeras and i assume probably jailer got imprisoned before sargeras turned dark side and started his burning crusade clearly keeping on eye on things plotting plotting and scheming his escape and keep in mind we still dont know what this "forbidden knowledge" is he was after that got him imprisoned in first place and what his plans were with it where he actuially had plAns opr was curious and didnt know exaclty what it was and fed his curisoty we dont know and we truly dont know what his ultimate plans are as his imprisonment is a detour of his original ambitions.
so he pretty much saw Sargeras idea and plan and essentially piggybacked and used sargeras to achieve his goals and had sir denathrius send sargeras the dreadlords for sargeras army and burning crusade planting the seed for his own goal. and used his burning legion for his ultimate goal and essenitaly improvised everything along the way. when the invasion failed. jailer saw obviously sargeras will keep trying which is why he had the helm of domination and frostmourne made. he knews the helm of domination was the tool he needed to break the veil from out world to shadowlands and part of his endgame after escpes. uses sargeras and his need/want to invade azeroth again. had the frostmourne and helm of domination sent to our world and through his dreadlordfs manpulate and say yah these 2 things are what you need to accomplish goal of invading azeroth. so the dreadlords manipulated and created the lich king. jailer knew the helm was needed to break the veil so he could come to our world but he didnt know how he was gonna have thew helm destroyed yet mind u hes improvising all this leeching of sargeras and essentially winging it but 1 step at a time. so they go and create the lich king. as jailer watches and thinks looking for a way to get someone to break said crown to open the veil he gets note of sylvannas being turned into a banshee by arthas and shortly after jailer got word as his HIS dreadlords obbviously are in the loop let him know and saw sylvannas as a banshee dead set on the lich king that the jailer essentially had made and saw the key to the rest of his plan to escape right infront of him. Cultivated Sylvannas hatred and clearly had his dreadlords work towards getting sylvannas do do what he needed. as his plans for sylvannas would have to have to be in place by time sylvannas attempted suicice as we know that manipulation took time to setup to brainwash/manipulate sylvannas to his side and he knows sylvannas was a good solder and person of the light wanting to do good for people and knew once she got her revenge cause knew that was her only thought of time. after done her mind will wonder well what now? whether it was dumb luck or they manipulate her to suicide they clearly planned for sylvannas to die 1 way or another.
and since now he has his key to his freedom in sylvannas he technically hardly needs sargeras and hsi burning leagion anymore cause sylvannas can do what he needs an d win win for him when we end the dark legion.
all this is how we can say the jailer was behind it all and the logic. maybe not EVERYTHING directly but mostly the direction. you can erssentially say the jailer manipulated sargeras and his legion to do his bidding. helping him with his for the purpose of helping his own

Many may wonder why Kael'thas went to Revendreth, while Lady Vashj went to Maldraxxus. I see it as this: Kael'thas joined the Legion and betrayed not only Illidan, but his own people. The worst thing Vashj did was draining water from Zangarmarsh. While it did impact the environment, it also benefited Illidan's war against the Legion, an enemy that even threatened the Shadowlands. The Arbiter probably saw Vashj as a legit military ally, where as Kael'thas was a traitor to everyone.
It's also interesting how Vashj knows Illidan is immortal, where as Kael'thas doesn't, and even she doesn't know what happened after TBC, and the ultimate defeat of the Legion, partially with Illidan's help. It would have been nice if your post- Legion characters could tell her about what happened during Legion.
It's also interesting how Mal'ganis, the most famous dreadlord, never appeared during Legion. Blizzard were saving him for Shadowlands, and it kinda brings the dreadlord lore back to the Scourge that they were part off in Warcraft 3. The Nathrezim were agents of Death all along. Gorgannon and Diathorus the Seeker are still part of a quest in Ashenvale. To think that we would meet them again here is pretty cool.
I would be all for Denathrius returning. He's like Dracula from Castlevania with the personality of Dio from JoJo.

She's definitely old, old enough to be the first Venthyr created from a mortal soul... But we don't know when exactly they started doing that. The Light's attack on Revendreth predates the Burning Legion though, which formed only AFTER the Nathrezim were "exiled" from the Shadowlands. This makes her at least 13 000 years old, probably way older depending on how much time passed between Sargeras' corruption and his recruitment of the Eredar.
However, for comparison, intelligent mortal and non-elemental life on Azeroth is at least 16 000 years old. Mortal life on other planets may be even older. When faith in Elune was "discovered" on Azeroth way over 10 000 years ago, she was already an ancient entity and may have had many Night Warriors through-out the cosmos.
Thiernax is referred to as the oldest KNOWN Night Warrior on Wowpedia, but this was before the Stonewright's "reveal". So... yeah, she could be but she might not be. Pretty unsatisfying answer for all the fact-checking I did while trying to answer this. :D But it was interesting to try!

and to add to my mega longass theory. you say altering the history or w/e it really isnt. its rather revealing more of it from they start they never really revealed where the dreadlords actually came from and their true origin and purpose someone/thing created them for a purpose after all. this revelation shines a line on it and clearly shows why these dreadlords decided to join sargeras' burning leagion.
since we lacked any knowledge before about their origin we just assumed they are evil looking to kill shit and this burning legion is the means to do that again as all out knowledge of them virtually is after they join the burning legion and dreadlords are just beiongs. we simply got our eyes opened to their true reason allying with sargeras.
its equivelant to someone getting a grtoup to help them with their cause not revealing why they decided to help then way way way later on it gets revealed. im sure over time after this revelation that this shocking revelation IMO in way greater details and specifics and just be patient.

So, what happens when you boycott the game? The game shuts down, hundreds of people loose their job and all the effort put into the game for years wasted.
There is a difference between supporting someone's work and standing against someone's wrong doings
I believe he too is upset with Blizzard and is gathering his thoughts right now and most probably he will still continue to support the game because of the above reasons but also because it is his livelyhood.
Boycotting a game doesn't mean you are providing the wronged people justice, you are just gonna cos them more harm.
Its the higher ups that we need to hold accountable and support and empower the employees.
