    Of note, the DR07 has swappable op-amps. While the manual mentions the op-amps as being dual TI OPA1656 (Burr-Brown) the units may come with dual TI LM4562NA OA's instead.

    Hi, which should be better FX AUDIO D01 or DR07? Maybe FX-Audio D802CPRO? TOPPING DX3 Pro +? Which will be best?

      The DR07 surpasses the D01 in many ways. Its latest design features an upgraded USB chip, improved Bluetooth chip, and 2 AKM chips with enhanced performance, supporting 32-bit and higher sample rates. In my opinion, it sounds significantly better. On the other hand, the D802C PRO is a power amplifier designed for passive speakers. The DX3 Pro+ offers more power but lacks an optical output to prevent ground loops. It has a more analytical sound signature, whereas the DR07 sounds smoother, more natural, and organic, and features a more responsive remote. Your choice between them depends on your preferences. Both are great IMO.

    Good morning, I have the creative G6 and I want to upgrade. I want it to play clearer and louder, but also for MW3 foosteps. Your opinion or other dac. I use PC38X and Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite. Will I have problem with mic of PC38X ? Can I use with these DAC's or must buy other external mic to work it ? Thanks

      Hi there, if you're looking to use the mic of your PC38X, you might consider a device like the Fosi Audio K5 Pro. This device will enable you to use an external 3.5mm mic or the PC38X's 3.5mm mic cable while using another 3.5mm headphone cable to listen to music, all in one device. So the K5 Pro will allow you to use the PC38X with its mic. It even has 3 EQ options and you could adjust them to better hear MW3 footsteps. It makes a lot of difference. Additionally, it will also allow you to use it with IEMs. The DR07 and DX3 Pro +, on the other hand, will not support the mic of the PC38X or any other mic as they doesn't have an ADC.

    What will happen if I use my 12v 4A power supply?

    • @Atechreviews

      Are you referring to the DR07? If your power supply is DC, you shouldn't have any issues. The DR07 will only draw 12V and then just the amount of current it needs, between 1A and 2A. The advantage is that your power supply should stay cool and enjoy a longer lifespan due to the low operating temperature.
      It's a good practice to ensure your power supply's current output is higher than what is expected. Think of your power supply as a future-proof and universally compatible power source.

      @@Atechreviews thanks! 🙏🏼
      At the moment, I’m leaning toward the DX3.

      @@TheVeganVicar Both options are great, with the DX3 Pro+ offering more power, a larger screen, and a sharper sound, while the DR07 provides a better remote control, a more natural mid-range focused sound, and a universal power supply.
      In my opinion, don't overthink it-you'll be happy with either, as both are excellent choices. Just choose the one that appeals to you most and enjoy it. :)

      @@Atechreviews, I'm getting the Topping for the equivalent of USD$120, so....
      Incidentally, does the DX3 have a mute button as does the FX Audio?

    • @Atechreviews
      @Atechreviews  5 місяців тому

      @@TheVeganVicar The device does have a mute button, but it lacks a muting relay. This means you might experience a popping sound occasionally when muting, changing sample rates, or when the device enters sleep mode and wakes up.
      If you lower the volume before muting, you may not hear the sound at all. :)
