I don't completely agree with you. Yes, pets are not human children, but to many they are like children and part of their family. There are parents that stop coming around to see their children as well, specialy after they have remarried or moved on with their life. 🤷♀️
Take EVERYTHING!!!!!!! I’ve been there and done it, men will never appreciate plants, furniture and anything you have worked for is yours!!!!!!! God has closed this door and opened your new door being around your family. As far as the dogs, I would keep them less confusing for the fur babies, and you need them for your emotional support ❤❤. You got this for sure and please don’t worry about answering our comments you have a lot going on and you need to take care of you. I can’t believe anyone would leave a negative comment especially at this time ❤❤❤

The book Broken Open really helped me realize that things could be worse. We’re leaving our family home in a few days and moving in with my Mom for a few months to reset. Packing up a big house by myself and getting rid of a lot. During a divorce it’s a lot to deal with and being in the family home there’s a lot of negative energy. My kids and I are ready for a fresh start. As you are grieving self care is so important. Work on yourself and focus on your journey ahead. The best is yet to come ❤🙏🏻🦋

I’ve been divorced twice and it was always the long nights that got to me 😢…I found solace in the fact I was doing the right thing and always told myself ..you are going to be ok because you just have to be..no one is going to hold your hand it’s a personal journey…I wish you all the luck in the world…you’re going to be ok because you just have to be..xx
I took all my belongings with after 34 yr of marriage that ended in divorce and yes i too purchased everything in my home. Enjoy your belongings!!

For me personally, I left almost all of it behind. In my situation just wanted a complete fresh start and didn’t want the negative energy coming to my new home. It was tough at first but in time I made my apartment home.
Do what is right for you and your situation, there are good days ahead.

What a shame that people need to give you unwanted advice. I think helpful suggestions are great but what you take and how you manage your divorce is your business. I went through a difficult divorce but it’s the best decision I made. You will get through this time and feel So much better. Hugs to you xx

When my x n I split, I took Mt absolute favorite things, things that belonged to my family etc and I purged the rest. He took nothing. He also didn't offer anything monetarily so it was extremely overwhelming bcuz all of the cleaning, answering to bill collectors etc was left to me. Mrs McKee. PS it's been 13 yrs since then, that veryyy dark time in my life and I'm now married to an absolutely perfect human and have long since let go of the anger, resentment, sadness etc of that time. We had been married for 24 yrs so I was devastated by it all

I use Gut Renew and like you said, I trust her choice of ingredients and I use her cosmetics too. So cute watching the dogs, especially the one playing fetch. My husband passed away in 2016 and even though our loneliness is different, I can understand somewhat. I’m 78 so I’ve accepted this to be my new life now. Maybe, if you want to marry again, you are young enough to do that. Maybe as time goes on you might be happy being single. Life is so uncertain so whatever will be will develop. Take care.

I got married at 19 years old and Divorced by 28 years old. My story is a little different because our Daughter died at birth and my Wife could not have another baby. But in truth I died when the baby died...I Stop being ME ..

I'm recently new, about 3 weeks. It's hard to move, i agree take your things. You can always randomly replace as time goes by if you want to. If you have space to garden in Napa, definitely take the containers; let them get a little dry so not as heavy to transport.
That is great that you guys are being amicable in sharing the pets. They are part of the family and very much like children. I see too many times with rescues that I follow, saying the pets were given up because the family was moving or they were getting a divorce and they no longer wanted them.😢 When you go on vacation in the future he can have the pets for the week. You won't have to pay!!😆

I agree its best to take your things. Since you are going to sell, anything you leave behind only delays clean up and sale and that can cost money. Been through a divorce and it was brutal but it will get better. Wishing you peace

I understand everything you are going through. I’m in the process too. There are good days and hard emotional days, where I feel I’ve failed. But life goes on and I thank God it does or else my life would be at a standstill. I’m happy you have a place to go too. That’s a big advantage. I’m looking for my own place. I had to move states. All my things are in a garage. I know that I’ll be fine. I have my grown babies and God to help me through. Sending you a tight hug. Yes, for sure there is light and the end of the tunnel.
